Sources familiar with the sale tell TMZ ... the "Pose" star listed his 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath house -- which is located 70 miles outside NYC in the beach town of Bellport Village in Long Island -- on Tuesday ... asking for a cool $2.5 million for the over one-acre property.

While it may sound like a pretty penny to some ... it's worth every cent. The house comes with a gorgeous outside patio, a heated lap pool, a home gym, and its very own tree house. The property also offers over 4,500 square feet of living space on well-kept grounds.

Now if you're wondering why Billy would part ways with such an ideal investment ... he actually shared back in August he was hurting financially, as a result of the SAG strike, and telegraphed this sort of move might happen down the line.

At the time, he said both a movie and a TV show he was working on got scrapped due to the protests ... which lasted a whopping 118 days.

There's also this ... BP and his ex-husband Adam Smith announced their split last year -- and they wouldn't be the first celebrity couple to sell their home amid a division of assets.

It looks like Billy will have a fresh start when the ink dries on his house sale.

Gary Sinise is mourning the loss of his son after a battle with a rare form of cancer -- and his obituary for his boy is beyond moving.

The "Forrest Gump" star -- who played Lieutenant Dan -- posted a tribute Tuesday to his son, Mac, who he revealed died last month. Gary says Mac passed away on Jan. 5 and was laid to rest on Jan. 23 ... this after he succumbed to chordoma, which affects the spine.

Gary says Mac was diagnosed with this cancer in 2018 ... the same year his wife, Moira, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Luckily, she's recovered since and is in remission.

Gary posted photos of himself and Mac together -- including a shot that features his son in a wheelchair. He also notes Mac was heavily involved in his foundation, and had a love for music -- noting he even helped create an album with original compositions.

He writes of his son, "In sharing our story, we hope to shine a little bit of light on what has been a difficult time for us as Mac was truly a light for all of us."

Gary adds, "An incredible inspiration to those who knew and loved him, he faced his battle with grace, courage, and love. Even with one setback after another, he never stopped living and learning, creating, and giving, and loving. He loved all our family."

He ends his tribute post with this ... "Thank you, Mac. You did it. Resurrection & Revival will live on. And so will you. In our hearts forever. We were blessed to have you in our lives as son, brother, and friend...and we will miss you and love you for eternity."

Mac was only 33.

Gabourey Sidibe and her husband Brandon Frankel are in for a double take in their life ... 'cause she's pregnant with twins!

Yes, that's right ... the 40-year-old "Precious" star broke the happy news on IG ... sharing snaps of herself in a pink dress while Brandon cradled her baby bump at a Babylist baby registry event.

You could tell the parents-to-be are overjoyed -- which you can see in the photos they posted to ring in the momentous occasion. As you can see, they posted different shots of themselves -- which appear tied to plugging this Babylist company, FWIW -- which showed they'd already picked out a double stroller, carrier, and clothes for their new additions.

If the pics didn't give away Gabby's excitement, her caption certainly did ... she wrote: "I'm pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we're giving them each a baby to take care of! Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!!"

She added ... Twin Delivery coming soon!" Gabby went hard on her twin puns, signing off, "Twinty Twinty Four!!" So yeah, she's leaning into the twin stuff -- as she should, we suppose.

A Willy Wonka pop-up attraction in the UK turned out to be underwhelming for families who thought they'd be going through an intricate chocolate factory -- and the pics are wild.

Get this ... families who were promised a "delectable" chocolate fountain and "whimsical" Oompa Loompas at 'Willy's Chocolate Experience' in Glasgow, Scotland ended up in a relatively empty warehouse where they were greeted with a sad sight -- just take a look.

Photos of the "factory" have been circulating online -- and most everyone agrees ... this so-called recreated experience was definitely oversold, and that's how parents feel as well.

As you can see ... the space where people were told they'd be treated to an awesome time was scant and pretty bare -- with an inflatable rainbow, a lonely bouncy castle, and a few other half-hearted decorations scattered about, and some frumpy actors on hand too.

Check out this photo of one of the Oompa Loompas hired to role-play for this attraction -- it's a sad sight. Reports have surfaced claiming the cast members were handed scripts the night before, and then told to improvise on the spot.

One parent, Aileen Butcher, called the whole debacle an "absolute disgrace" ... telling the Daily Record it took all of one minute to walk through this thing, which also included a lone table strewn with jelly beans. The tickets were reportedly about $35 a pop.

Another parent, Stuart Sinclair, spilled all the beans on FB ... explaining he traveled two hours for the event, only for his kids to walk away with two measly jelly babies and a quarter of a can of Barr limeade.

It was apparently quite a scene in the would-be chocolate factory ... actors were reportedly up in arms, as were the parents ... many of whom confronted the owner and demanded refunds. Cops reportedly even had to get involved in all this to settle everyone down.

Organizers House of Illuminati have since apologized for the "stressful and frustrating day."

Bob Marley's biopic is the biggest thing sizzling at the box office despite mixed reviews ... but that's no excuse to miss it if you're a real Jamaican ... as far as Shaggy's concerned.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with rapper/singer at the Island Music Conference in Kingston this past weekend -- and he tells us straight up ... it's completely "un-Jamaican" for any native NOT to support the flick.

Divisive words for sure ... but Shaggy's not sipping on hypocrisy here -- he's been a staunch supporter of the film himself and even recently attended the 'One Love' premiere in L.A. alongside Brad Pitt, Stevie Wonder and several members of the Marley family.

The film has been accused of skimming through the late-reggae legend's life too quickly -- but Shaggy defended the film, as well as lead star Kingsley Ben-Adir's vocal performance.

Kingsley's British, so he had to be coached to learn his Jamaican accent, which opened him up to more criticism. Of course, all the singing done on-camera ain't him ... it's Bob.

Anyway, Shaggy gives us an honest review of his own -- he admits Kingsley's dialect wasn't spot-on but still thinks the guy gave a believable performance considering he's not actually Jamaican ... so, KBA gets his seal of approval here.

The film's success could potentially make the Marley clan billionaires ... something Shaggy is counting on if people heed his advice.

The clip is titled "Knockout Chaos" ... and kicks off with Ngannou learning the news of his matchup with AJ being finalized and saying he'll take him on "anytime, anywhere."

As luck would have it, the two fighters bump into each other in the street right after ... and a crowd forms around them in anticipation of an impromptu showdown.

The trailer then channels the classic "Street Fighter" series ... and the two start duking it out, bouncing between real world and video game.

AJ and Ngannou trade vicious blows -- even getting knocked into outer space before crashing back down to earth.

The vid ends with both guys knocking each other out in the ring ... officially putting a stop to the madness after more than a minute of violence.

It goes without saying ... Reesa's ex is feeling the backlash of the TikToks going viral and claims it's hurting his job in PR -- which he says he does for a hospital. Amid all this attention, Legion tells us he met with attorneys Monday at work to discuss taking legal action against Reesa -- on its face, it seems his company believes they mighta been damaged by her storytelling. Legion says he's supportive of any moves they might make.

Unclear if he's considering private counsel for himself at this point ... but he's certainly mulling his options right now. Bottom line ... Legion tells us the way he's been portrayed by Reesa is NOT who he is at all -- and he feels he's been wronged by the tale she's told.

There's no denying that Reesa's videos have been a huge hit online ... with one video garnering over 11 million views on TikTok. Reesa's account also boasts nearly 32M likes.

Actress Danielle Pinnock -- from the TV show 'Ghosts' -- has already pitched herself to play Reesa if the viral saga ever gets a small screen adaptation ... and something tells us this thing might just get made into a movie or show down the line. Indeed, it's that wild.

The Kelly Rowland dust is just now settling -- but now, Joe Manganiello's girlfriend posted a shot from behind the scenes at 'Today,' including what may be one of the rooms Kelly got pissed about.

Here's a look inside one of the backstage rooms on the set of "Today" ... which Caitlin O'Connor posted on her social media account Monday showing support at Joe's appearance-- this as Joe was plugging his new "Deal or No Deal Island" show, on which he's the host.

Anyway ... here's a glimpse of what 'Today' looks like behind the scenes for talent and friends of talent. We're told this is a makeup room there -- so, not necessarily a dressing room, it seems, but probably pretty close. That jibes with what we've heard about these rooms ... namely, they kinda suck -- which is proven here in the bare-bones environment COC's in.

Worth noting ... we're told Joe was in a different room than the one Caitlin posted from -- so, unclear if it was worse or better than this. Based on what we've heard about Kelly's walk-out, it probably ain't much better ... and that's saying something based on what we see here.

Based on Caitlin's photos, the makeup room doesn't look all that glamorous ... and it comes off as cramped. There's a chair, bulletin board, and some storage units and that seems to be it, at least going off what's in the frame.

As you know, the 'Today' makeup and dressing rooms are under the microscope because Kelly stormed off the set earlier this month, a result of what her team says were issues and complaints with her dressing room.

Kelly has pretty much refused to talk about the incident, which is why folks are still interested in what went down.

Bethenny Frankel's already ripped Kelly for being a drama queen ... she says it's no secret the dressing rooms at 'Today' aren't super glamorous, and she showed them off in an earlier video. According to Bethenny -- this is something that comes with working on 'Today.'

Now, we're getting a different angle from Joe's GF ... and it doesn't look all that better, TBH.
