Jonathan Majors perdió su trabajo en Disney, porque Marvel lo está desvinculando de todos los proyectos del MCU, cortando los lazos a raíz de su veredicto de culpabilidad, TMZ ha confirmado.

Fuentes directas nos dicen que el estudio de películas de cómics —uno de los mayores sellos de la Casa del Ratón— no va a seguir adelante con el actor asediado y punto. Lo que significa que está perdiendo su papel clave como el gran villano de Marvel, Kang el Conquistador.

Eso es un gran golpe, viendo cómo ya ha retratado al personaje en una gran película de Marvel  —"Ant-Man y la Avispa: Quantumania"— así como en dos temporadas de la serie de Disney+ "Loki". La segunda temporada de "Loki" incluía a Kang y sus variantes —otras versiones del gran villano, también interpretadas por Majors—, al igual que la película antes mencionada.

Según todos los indicios, Jonathan iba a interpretar a Kang durante al menos dos películas más de Marvel y se decía que el estudio lo estaba tratando a él y a Kang como la próxima especie de Thanos en su franquicia.

1:30 PM PT -- Jonathan Majors' attorney, Priya Chaudhry, tells us, "It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari's story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. We are grateful for that."

Chaudhry continues, "We are disappointed, however, that despite not believing Ms. Jabbari, the jury nevertheless found that Mr. Majors was somehow reckless while she was attacking him. Mr. Majors is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support during these harrowing eight months. Mr. Majors still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name."

12:42 PM PT -- Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg tells TMZ, “At the Manhattan D.A.’s Office, we are committed to centering survivors in all of our work. The evidence presented throughout this trial illustrated a cycle of psychological and emotional abuse, and escalating patterns of coercion far too common across the many intimate partner violence cases we see each and every day."

Bragg continues, "Today, a jury determined that pattern of abuse and coercion culminated with Mr. Majors assaulting and harassing his girlfriend. We thank the jury for its service and the survivor for bravely telling her story despite having to relive her trauma on the stand."

Jonathan Majors was just found guilty in his criminal trial -- after a jury decided the actor's fate following 3 days of deliberations.

The verdict came down Monday in NYC, and the actor was found guilty on one count of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of harassment. Remember, he'd initially been slapped with 8 separate charges -- all pertaining to alleged assault and harassment -- but before things kicked off ... the D.A.'s office agreed to drop four of them in an effort to consolidate their complaint.

He was acquitted of two other charges ... one count of intentional assault and one count of aggravated harassment. Now, he faces a maximum sentence of up to a year behind bars.

The trial, which lasted about two weeks, had some standout moments right from the jump in opening statements -- when prosecutors alleged Majors had a history of violence in his relationships, and that the March incident in question was simply the latest example.

Prosecutors claim Majors and his accuser, Grace Jabbari, had gotten into an argument that night after she discovered some texts from another woman ... but asserted Majors was the one who escalated things by allegedly twisting her arm behind her back, and her finger as well. They also claimed he threw her back into the car they were in after she attempted to exit. In other words, they alleged he roughed her up ... and the 6-person jury agreed.

One critical piece of evidence presented in court involved surveillance video of the night in question ... showing a scuffle between Majors and Jabbari, plus a foot chase shortly thereafter ... with Majors bolting away from Jabbari, who runs after him for a few blocks.

Jabbari herself also took the stand as the key witness, and she backed the prosecution's case ... namely, that Majors had gotten physical with her that night, and it followed a pattern of controlling/manipulative behavior that, at times, teetered on violence.

She described other alleged instances of Majors losing his temper ... and delivered emotional testimony. On cross, though, Majors' defense team attempted to pick apart her story ... including asking her whether she was actually injured that night, despite security footage that showed her partying after the fact and looking seemingly unharmed/unbothered.

Major's 911 call the day he was arrested was also released ... he called after finding Jabbari passed out in his penthouse apartment and feared she may have attempted suicide.

Throughout the trial, Majors appeared alongside his current girlfriend, Meagan Good, who stood by him during the saga -- whose presence some thought would buy him goodwill.

The bigger question now, of course, is what happens to his career ... it was on the ropes even before the trial -- and now, it feels like he might start to be dropped en masse. It's a big blow ... Majors had already started playing Marvel's next big bad, and he was a rising star in Hollywood with Oscar aspirations too.

He'll be sentenced February 6.

Suki revealed their pregnancy news late last month during a performance in Mexico ... where she casually dropped the fact she had a bun in the oven -- pointing out her obvious body changes. Since then, she and Rob have been out and about a lot in NYC.

Now, it looks like they're going the traditional route for their family ... via (possible) marriage.

Robert and Suki have been dating since 2018, but have been relatively low-key about their relationship considering their A-list status. That said, they don't shy away from PDA at all.

El juicio, que duró cerca de dos semanas, tuvo algunos momentos destacados desde el salto en las declaraciones de apertura, cuando los fiscales alegaron Majors tenía un historial de violencia en sus relaciones y que el incidente de marzo en cuestión era simplemente el último ejemplo.

Los fiscales afirman que Majors y su demandante, Grace Jabbari, habían entrado en una discusión esa noche después de que ella descubrió algunos textos de otra mujer, pero afirmó que Majors fue quien escaló las cosas por presuntamente torcer su brazo detrás de la espalda y lastimar su dedo. James McCaffrey -- an actor best known for voicing the popular video game character Max Payne -- has died after a battle with cancer ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the star tells us McCaffrey passed away Sunday surrounded by friends and family. We're told he'd been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and that he ultimately succumbed to the disease.

His rep notes ... "One of Dick Wolf's proteges (""Swift Justice), McCaffrey went on to a successful 35 year career in television and film. Trained at the Actor's Studio, he never lost his love for creating characters; however, his good looks often pushed him toward leading man roles."

Word of McCaffrey's death first started to spread through a post from "Entourage" star Kevin Dillon -- who honored his friend with a photo of the both of them and a remembrance.

Like we mentioned, McCaffrey will perhaps best be remembered for serving as the voice actor for the 'Max Payne' video game series -- which included at least 3 installments -- but his resume went well beyond just that ... with TV and movie roles on big time shows.

The series he famously appeared in was "Rescue Me," where he portrayed Jimmy Keefe for 56 episodes between 2004 and 2011. Other shows he starred in included ... "Revenge," "Beautiful People," "Law & Order: SVU," "As the World Turns," "Swift Justice," "Civil Wars," "Canterbury's Law," "Suits," "Blue Bloods," "Bluff City Law," "She's Gotta Have It" and more.

Of course, he was also one of the leads for the famed "Viper" way back in the '90s. And McCaffrey acted in a number of major films as well -- "The Truth About Cats & Dogs," "The Big Take," "A Gifted Man," "American Splendor," "She Hate Me" ... just to name a few.

McCaffrey is survived by his wife Rochelle Bostrom ... and daughter Tiernan. He was 65.

Amanda Bynes has hit the brakes on her new podcast after just one episode ... and it's all because she's unable to book famous entertainers like Drake.

In a video posted Sunday to TikTok, the ex-child star explained that she was pausing her "Amanda Bynes and Paul Sieminski: Podcast" on Spotify even though it was "doing very well and the response has been great."

Amanda says the reason was simple ... she just couldn't convince Jack Harlow, Post Malone, Drake or some other A-list musicians to come on the show.

But, Amanda promised the podcast would return if she could reel in those types of guests.

She ended by thanking everyone for watching the one episode she hosted with her friend Paul Sieminski on December 9.

For 26 minutes, the two chatted with Amanda's longtime buddy, LA-based tattoo artist Dahlia Moth.

The "pause" comes as somewhat of a surprise because Amanda just told TMZ ... while she had no plans to discuss her personal problems or her former career as an actress, the podcast was still going full steam ahead.

As you know, Amanda has struggled for years with mental health issues and was placed in a conservatorship in 2013 following her many legal troubles.

Once a heartthrob, always a heartthrob ... that's the overwhelming sentiment, anyway, as Brad Pitt rings in his 60th birthday Monday.

Brad's fans started the festivities by hopping online to fawn over him -- just one scroll online lands you in a sea of comments dubbing him the "sexiest man alive" and "my forever crush" ... with others demanding to know his secret for staying young.

It's supposed to be an extra special milestone for Brad ... who'll most likely be blowing out the candles alongside his much younger girlfriend of one year, Ines de Ramon.

Jewelry designer Ines is 27 years his junior -- and this is his first proper relationship since his public divorce from Angelina Jolie.

Sources also told People last month they're in a good place ... with the actor introducing Ines as his girlfriend to others -- that she makes him very happy.

An Airbnb host accused Fantasia of throwing a party and asked her and her family to vacate the rental property at midnight.

Fantasia took to X to voice her concerns over the dispute which occurred on Saturday Dec. 16.

She tweeted, "I don’t say much when people do me wrong, but I can’t stay quiet on how my family and I were just treated from a host with @Airbnb @airbnbhelp trying to kick my kids and I out at 12:00 midnight."

She detailed how they remained within the occupancy limits listed for the Airbnb, and included "they never said we weren’t allowed to have any company over!!"

This all while her 12-year-old son Dallas Xavier and friends were there to enjoy their night.

Fantasia also explained that there were obviously other parties that had taken place there ... "There were weights with balloon ribbon left in the garage from a previous party at the house."

Fantasia believes this was an instance of racial profiling and said, "The treatment we received was due to the color of our skin."

All she wanted was for her son and friends to have a good night, especially after she has been away traveling for "35+ days" promoting her upcoming movie, "The Color Purple."

Fantasia will star alongside Halle Bailey, H.E.R., and Ciara among others, which will come to theaters on Dec. 25.

Amanda Bynes has a new podcast, but she'll be steering clear of the mental health struggles that have overtaken her life.

Amanda tells TMZ ... she won't be talking about anything regarding her former career or personal life on "Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast" -- which includes her time in inpatient treatment and mental health centers.

She tells us the pod is focused on the guests that join her and Paul ... saying it's their careers, personal lives, and fun stories they find more interesting.

As we reported, Amanda and Paul debuted their new podcast this week, with the first episode featuring an L.A.-based tattoo artist that the former child star has known for years.

It's a big deal for AB -- as well as her fans -- marking the first time she's come back into the spotlight after dipping out of Hollywood and moving on to other ventures, like fashion.

The iconic entertainer, who just turned 98 last week, got profiled in a new 'CBS Sunday Morning' episode this weekend ... where he reflected on his many years working on Hollywood and beyond, the fruitful exploits of which he calls nothing but dumb luck.

Watch ... Dick says everything that ever came his way professionally -- and best believe it was a lot -- was simply good fortune ... 'cause, according to him, he wasn't a chaser.

DVD says he wasn't hustling for jobs or gigs when he was starting out -- and explains things just naturally landed in his lap. In fact, he even goes so far as to say he's naturally a lazy guy ... which is insane to think about considering how much work he has under his belt.

As he puts it, he'd go out and do a movie or something, come home ... and literally just sit around waiting for the phone to ring with a new opportunity -- and they always arrived.

The interviewer sounds incredulous, asking if he really didn't plan all the success he's had -- to which he says ... not really. Somehow, he goes on to claim he doesn't have much drive!

Even if his long streak of great art was all serendipitous, we're happy it worked out. Dick's a national treasure, and the fact he's still as sharp as he is ... nothing short of a blessing.
