In addition to all the grub, facilities are offering a ton of activities on Thanksgiving Day.

We're not saying the inmates listed above deserve holiday festivities, but card tournaments, art contests, bingo and movie screenings will be available to some of 'em.

Pet Shop Owner In 'Best In Show' 'Memba Him?!

Japanese-Canadian actor Hiro Kanagawa was 37 years old when he was cast as the stoic yet gentle and patient pet shop owner in the comedy/mockumentary and Thanksgiving classic film "Best In Show" back in 2000.

Hiro shared the big screen with a star-packed cast including Christopher Guest as Harlan Pepper, Eugene Levy as Gerry Fleck, Catherine O'Hara as Cookie Fleck, Fred Willard as Buck Laughlin and Jennifer Coolidge as Sherri Ann Cabot and countless others!

"Best In Show" was the inspo behind NBC's airing of "The National Dog Show" which started on Thanksgiving back in 2002.

Happy Turkey Day!

'The Goonies' Movie House Finds Buyer

The iconic home from "The Goonies" appears to be changing hands ... TMZ has learned the owner already has a buyer for the property.

Our real estate sources say owner, Sandi Preston, accepted an offer Friday for the Oregon estate ... which went on the market just 5 days ago with a $1,650,000 asking price.

The Victorian-style home is 2,336 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sweeping views of the Oregon coast.

The house was built way back in 1896 in Astoria and it skyrocketed to fame after being featured in the 1985 Steven Spielberg coming-of-age film. Now, it's a mecca of sorts for movie buffs, with tons of daily visitors flocking to the property.

Sandi lived there for the past 21 years ... but we're told she's ready for the next phase of her life and decided to sell.

Listing agent Jordan Miller of John L. Scott Market Center told us the sale has not yet closed but the buyer will be made public next week ... so it will be interesting to see who snapped it up, because our sources say offers were coming in from all corners of the globe.

Leonardo DiCaprio Almost Missed Out On 'Titanic' ... Acted Like a Diva, Says James Cameron

Leonardo DiCaprio almost dropped the ball on arguably one of his biggest roles ... according to "Titanic" director James Cameron, who says he almost showed the actor the door when he came to an audition with some serious 'tude.

James spilled it all Tuesday ... saying he asked Leo to come during the audition process to do a chemistry test with Kate Winslet -- who had already landed the part of Rose.

In a GQ interview, James claims LD thought he was just coming in to meet Kate ... but when he found out he'd be reading lines with her, he replied, "You mean I'm Reading? Oh, I don't read."

James wasn't gonna put up with the attitude, and says he told Leo he could either read with Kate or lose out on the role ... telling him, "I'm not gonna f*** it up by making the wrong decision in casting."

He says the actor begrudgingly agreed to do it, keeping things super negative ... right up until James yelled "Action." James claims Leo instantly "turned into Jack," and he knew at that point Leo was the king of the world.

As you know, this was a titular role for the actor -- launching him into a world of successful films soon after. The movie ended up winning 11 Oscars, but Leo never got a nom for his iconic performance.

But, here's the real question: who was Cameron's backup plan? Who the hell would've painted Rose like one of their French girls?!?

Marilyn Monroe Her Suit from Joe DiMaggio Wedding Going, Going ... Up for Sale!!!

The two-piece wedding suit Marilyn Monroe wore for her marriage to Joe DiMaggio is hitting the auction block ... and it's expected to fetch seven figures.

Marilyn's 'fit from the January 1954 wedding to the New York Yankees star will be offered to the public through Gotta Have Rock and Roll, and although it's one of her more conservative looks ... folks at the auction house think the winning bid will be spectacular -- somewhere between $1.5 and $2 million!

The historic clothing is a two-piece dark brown Serge wedding suit, with a white fur collar on the jacket.

Marilyn and Joe's wedding was a huge event back in the day ... and there are tons of photos and videos of them kissing while she's in the wedding suit.

And, here's a fun fact: glamorous Marilyn totally went mainstream for her big day!

Gotta Have Rock and Roll says she originally bought the suit at Macy's, and it was later gifted to the mother-in-law of her personal photog, Milton Greene.

Clark In 'Pineapple Express' 'Memba Him?!

American actor Arthur Napiontek was 21 years old when he was cast as Clark -- the ripped high school jock who comes off as smooth and confident while trying to make a move on Dale's girlfriend -- in the 2008 film "Pineapple Express."

Art shared the big screen with Seth Rogen as the lighthearted "dude" always down for a good time, Dale Denton, James Franco as the gullible, artsy guy who is into theater, Saul Silver and Amber Heard as Dale's hot blonde girlfriend who sometimes gives her boyfriend Dale a hard time, Angie Anderson.

'Halloween' Michael Myers OG Stuntman James Winburn Dead at 85

James Winburn, the stunt double for the Michael Myers character in the original "Halloween" film, has died.

James' manager, Peter DeLorme, tells TMZ ... James died Saturday in a Los Angeles hospital after a short illness.

It sounds like a sudden health issue because we're told just about 3 weeks ago James traveled all the way to the United Kingdom for a convention.

James was in Manchester, England during the "For The Love of Horror" convention last month, and the company that put on the event says he "was an absolute pleasure to work with and shared some amazing stories with everyone over the weekend."

A veteran stunt performer, James doubled for Nick Castle's version of Michael Myers in 1978's "Halloween" ... including the famous scene at the end of the horror movie, where Dr. Loomis shoots Michael 6 times, sending Myers falling backwards over a balcony.

James also did stunt work on "The Fog" and "Escape from New York" among other films ... and even wrote and directed a handful of movies.

He was 85.

Ben Affleck & Matt Damon Screw Studios/Streamers ... Make Stuff at Our Production Co.!!!

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are starting their own production company that promises to put creatives first -- both in terms of less corporate red tape ... and more money long-term.

The two Hollywood titans -- who have three Oscars between the both of them, and who've starred in, written and directed countless hit films over the years -- announced Sunday they were launching something called Artists' Equity ... which speaks exactly to their goal here.

The idea behind this new enterprise is to host and cater to premier peeps in the film and TV industry -- but instead of paying 'em bank up front, the way a big studio/streamer might these days on talent-for-hire, BA and MD are taking it old-school ... with a cut of the profits.

Back in the day, pre-streaming, that was the playbook in showbiz. Actors and directors and other folks attached to a flick would often be contractually entitled to cash after the fact based on how well something did at the box office. If a movie crushed over time, it could mean more moolah than a one-time payout -- high as it may seem at first -- which is SOP now.

Ben and Matt wanna bring that back, with BA explaining to the NYT ... "As streamers have proliferated, they have really ended back-end participation, and so this is partly an effort to try to recapture some of that value and share it in a way that’s more equitable." He went on to add, "Not just writers and directors and stars. But also cinematographers, editors, costume designers and other crucial artists who, in my view, are very underpaid."

DYNAMIC DUO

Artists' Equity also aims to do what big studios can't ... getting out of the way, and letting creatives have actual ownership/control of their vision without all the politics that tend to hinder production, sometimes for the worst. At AE, Ben and Matt are adopting laissez-faire.

It's a neat idea ... and it's not just a pipe dream either. Matt and Ben have secured at least $100 million in initial financing from RedBird Capital Partners -- plus an undisclosed amount of dough from their own pockets. Ben says he's going to lend his services exclusively to Artists' Equity going forward. Matt's committed to a handful of films as well.

The two Boston boys are making moves ... and movies too! 👀

Tarantino on Harvey Weinstein I Shoulda Confronted Him ... Didn't Know the Extent Of It

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC
Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?/HBO

Quentin Tarantino says he wishes he would've confronted his longtime collaborator Harvey Weinstein -- especially in the wake of the criminal allegations that have surfaced.

The director was grilled by Chris Wallace on his CNN show Friday night ... getting asked why he didn't do more to protect women in HW's orbit if he was, in fact, aware of the film producer's behavior -- something Tarantino has alluded to in recent years.

QT clarified that while he had heard things about Weinstein ... he insists he was never privy to anything regarding rape or sexual assault -- which, among other things, has been alleged against the ex-movie mogul by a lot of women ... dating back to the '90s.

Tarantino says his understanding of Weinstein's alleged MO was comparable to something from "Mad Men" -- AKA, office bosses chasing their secretaries around the desk and trying to get handsy. This is the characterization Tarantino says was communicated to him back then. He notes, yes, this was still wrong ... but denies knowledge of anything more serious.

Wallace asks if he has any regrets, and Tarantino says he does -- not about working with HW, though, but not confronting him about his supposed playful skirt-chasing. The reason Tarantino says he didn't talk to him about it is because he thought it was pathetic ... and didn't want to approach his friend, who was also kinda his boss, about something so juvenile.

In hindsight, Tarantino says he wishes he would've done so ... making clear, you can't do this. Of course, Weinstein has since been convicted of sex crimes in NY, and is on trial in L.A.

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde Time For A Break Darling ... After Nearly 2 Years Together

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are pressing pause on their relationship ... TMZ has confirmed.

Harry and Olivia are "taking a break" from dating after nearly 2 years together, according to People, citing Harry's busy touring schedule and Olivia's family obligations and work in Hollywood.

HS and OW were first linked back in January 2021, when they were photographed holding hands at a friend's wedding ... at the same time they were filming "Don't Worry Darling."

JAMMIN' AT HARRY'S

Harry's tour, which Olivia witnessed in person, is now going overseas ... and Olivia's reportedly hanging back in Los Angeles, working on projects and spending time with the children she shares with Jason Sudeikis.

As we've reported, Harry and Olivia's relationship was not lacking in drama ... Olivia and Jason's ex-nanny claimed Olivia gave up her dog within weeks of meeting Harry, allegedly so she could free up time to spend with the singer.

There was also a ton of rumored drama on the set of "Don't Worry Darling" as a result of Harry and Olivia's romance, with Olivia reportedly going missing often with Harry. She was directing the film and he was starring in it.

The last time we saw Harry and Olivia together was a couple days ago, when she was at his concert.

Pete Davidson Back in the Game with EmRata!!! Hookup for NYC Date

LATE NIGHT DATE NIGHT
BACKGRID

Pete Davidson's gonna mess around and get himself an NBA contract, 'cause no one rebounds like this guy ... who now looks pretty official with Emily Ratajkowski.

Pete and the model/actress suffered a case of new couple interruptus Wednesday night in NYC, but they persevered ... and these images are now the first hard evidence of dating rumors that started this week.

Their hookup adventure started with Pete -- ever the gentleman -- driving to Em's West Village apartment to pick her up, but when paparazzi started snapping pics ... he bolted. Guess he was still trying to keep it on the DL.

Not to worry, they had a backup plan. Emily -- dressed ultra-casual in sweats and a midriff-baring top -- ordered a rideshare, which took her to a Brooklyn rendezvous with Pete.

She bolted into a building, and they greeted each other with a long, warm hug and a smile. It's unclear if the meeting point was Pete's place, but he reportedly bought a pad in Brooklyn earlier this year.

Anywho ... Pete had been out of the dating game since breaking up with Kim Kardashian in August -- but our boy's clearly back, and in a big way!

Emily filed for divorce in September, ending her 4-and-half-year marriage to Sebastian Bear-McClard ... the father of her 1-year-old son Sylvester Apollo.

ROYAL SABOTAGE?

Reps for Em and Pete have been silent about the dating buzz, but now we can all see for ourselves.

It bears repeating (from a mountaintop, if you're him), but Pete's dating resume is Hall of Fame-esque: Emily, Kim, Kate Beckinsale, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Cazzie David, etc ...

Rob Gronkowski Flirty With Fonda In New Brady Flick ... 'Hiiiiiiii!'

Avert your eyes, Camille Kostek ... Rob Gronkowski does, indeed, get flirty with 84-year-old actress Jane Fonda in the new Tom Brady flick -- and it's kinda steamy!!!

The official trailer for "80 For Brady" dropped Thursday morning ... showing Hollywood's take on the true story of four women in their 80s who traveled to Super Bowl LI in Houston to get a glimpse of Brady on the field.

The movie looks awesome -- Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sally Field and Rita Moreno go through all kinds of hoops to ultimately get to the TB12 game -- and, at one point in the film, Fonda apparently gets pretty dang close to Gronk.

In the clip, the two seem to be in a locker room setting ... with Fonda in awe of the former Patriots tight end's size.

"So big!" she says.

"Thank you!" Gronk fires back with a charming smile on his face.

No further info about the scene was revealed -- but we're sure Kostek, Gronk's longtime girlfriend, is interested in seeing the full thing now!

Brady also makes a cameo in the trailer -- yelling out his trademark, "Let's go!" line as the four women cheer him on from the stands.

Of course, Tom will have a bigger role in the movie when it ultimately comes out -- as he's been seen teasing scenes from the flick on his social media pages for months now.

The Paramount movie is set to finally release in February 2023 ... can't wait!!

Denise Richards Acting in Scene with Guns & Knives Post-Road Rage Shooting

DENISE ON SET
TMZ.com

Denise Richards is proving to be a pro's pro on the set of her new movie -- filming a scene with a bunch of guns and knives immediately after she'd been shot at in real life.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Denise was ready for action Tuesday around 4 PM when she filmed her first scene of the day. We got this behind-the-scenes footage and what immediately jumps out at you is she's surrounded by weaponry -- albeit props -- and even handles a dagger.

We're told she plays a weapons expert, so there was no avoiding the setting for this scene -- despite the fact she'd literally just gone through a life-or-death situation on her way to set. Regardless, she did her job for the flick ... director Ali Zamani's "Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace."

She's putting on a brave face here, no sign of the real-life violence she'd just survived -- but, our sources say Denise was, in fact, badly shaken up. We're told this scene was shot after a weapons safety meeting with cast and crew, including Denise.

As we reported ... Denise and her husband Aaron were shot at in a road rage incident, as they were driving to Denise's gig. The bullet hit the back end of their truck, and no one was injured.

'A Christmas Story' Cast Looking To Buy Iconic Home Merry XMAS to Us!!!

UPDATE

1:00 PM PT -- Listing agent Chad Whitmer tells us ... "'A Christmas Story House' is not currently in talks with any of the actors or cast members from 'A Christmas Story' and do not plan to be."

The house from "A Christmas Story" hit the market this week, and it could end up in the hand of some cast members!!!

Yano Anaya, who played Grover Dill in the 1983 film, tells TMZ ... he and a few other cast members are interested in picking up the property, adding, "It only makes sense to have the cast run the show."

He wouldn't disclose which of his costars are toying with the idea of jumping on board, but he sees it as a major opportunity for fans ... keeping the legacy in-house instead of causing worry over what might happen if the building's bought by someone else.

He tells us there have been tens of thousands of fans who've already expressed concern online in their "A Christmas Story Family" Facebook group. With the new sequel dropping Thursday, it's safe to say there's gonna be a huge wave of people wanting to get a glimpse of the famous pad.

Listing agent Chad Whitmer tells us the current owner bought the Parker's dysfunctional family home in 2004, refurbished it and bought surrounding properties to expand for a museum, gift shop, parking lots and '"The Bumpus House" next door. It became a designated landmark in Cleveland and has welcomed more than a million guests since opening in 2006.

Chad says he's received hundreds of calls, texts and emails from potential buyers since listing the 1.3-acre lot on Monday ... and while there's no public listing price, he expects it to go for 8 figures.

Amber Heard Gloria Steinem and Co. Say Stop the Public Shaming!!!

Amber Heard has been treated atrociously by the public -- vilified and harassed -- and it's gotta stop now ... so says Gloria Steinem and more than a hundred others.

The famed feminist and 130 others have signed onto an open letter, condemning "the vilification of Ms. Heard and ongoing online harassment of her and those who have voiced support for her [sic] have been unprecedented in both vitriol and scale."

Steinem and co. go on ... "We condemn the public shaming of Amber Heard and join in support of her. We support the ability of all to report intimate partner and sexual violence free of harassment and intimidation."

Thing is ... the jury in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard case rejected all of her claims of abuse and, even decided her claims were not only false ... they were malicious.

Nonetheless, Steinem and others challenge the verdict, saying it indicates "a fundamental misunderstanding of intimate partner and sexual violence and how survivors respond to it."

As you know, A.H. was ordered to cough up $10.35 million dollars for her defamatory claims. J.D. was ordered to pay $2 mil for the defamatory claims his lawyer made.

It's undeniable ... the vast majority of the public ended up siding with Depp and many did indeed viciously attack Amber, especially on social media.

Amber is now living abroad with her daughter ... presumably to break free from all the drama and attacks.

Steinem and the others who also signed the letter say the harassment "was fueled by disinformation, misogyny, biphobia, and a monetized social media environment where a woman's allegations of domestic violence and sexual assault were mocked for entertainment."
