Travis Scott Reps Astroworld Doc is Shameless Money Grab ... In Hopes to Sway Jury

Travis Scott's team is coming out swinging against the creators of a documentary that takes aim at the tragic events of the Astroworld music festival ... calling it a pathetic money grab.

The "propaganda piece," as Scott's reps have dubbed it, is called "Concert Crush: The Travis Scott Festival Tragedy" and started screening in Texas on Friday.

The movie's director, Charlie Minn, told the AP the project isn't intended to be a hit piece against Travis, but rather a recounting of the devastation from that day.

Clearly, that's not what Travis' team thinks, calling it a, "... farce financed by and containing content from members of the plaintiff's legal teams, who, weeks after a tragedy, sought to exploit and benefit financially from it, with the clear goals of making money and swaying future juries and public opinion."

Interestingly enough, attorney Ricardo Ramos, who represents plaintiffs in multiple Astroworld cases is a producer for the film, and actual plaintiffs from the lawsuits are also featured in the film.

They also go in on Minn, saying, "It's a profit play and a publicity stunt, with no support from the film industry, no distribution, and from a director with no respect from his field who has been termed a "trauma pornographer."

For what it's worth, Minn has been critical of Travis' actions during the festival in the past, telling the Houston Press, "I think he'd be a lot more nervous if he didn't know the mayor and police chief. The police had all the authority to stop things, and the show should have been stopped by the third song. It was a dangerous, evil joke."

The documentary features several concertgoers from that day, most blaming Travis for not seeing what was happening in the crowd.

TMZ broke the story, several Houston Police officers were seen watching Travis and Drake perform while things got worse in the crowd -- apparently unaware of the severity of what was going on.

As we reported, 10 people died from "compression asphyxia" as a result of the events at Astroworld. The investigation continues as to who or what was responsible for the deaths ... but several lawsuits have pointed the finger at Travis and promoter Live Nation.

Travis has not performed on a big stage since, but is set to headline Primavera Sound and multiple U.S. festivals -- to be announced -- in the next year.

Andrew Garfield My Butt Ain't Fake in that Spider-Man Suit!!!

WHAT BUTT???
NBC

When it comes to junk in the Spidey trunk, Andrew Garfield says he needs no assist ... no ifs, ands or butts.

Andrew went on "Late Night With Seth Meyers," Thursday, to talk about his latest project, but he also got down to business ... answering what folks have been wondering since "Spider-Man: No Way Home" hit the big screen -- who has the fake butt?!

As you know, three actors play the role of Spider-Man ... and one of em' might have gotten some extra cushion.

But, make no mistake ... Andrew says, "he's totally unmodified" in that department.

ICYMI, Tom Holland actually went on Seth Meyers' show, previously, and said ... "I'll give you a spoiler, and I won't tell you who, but one of us has a fake a** in the suit." "You can figure that out for yourselves."

Andrew insists it's all just a marketing ploy ... "You know, we want to get the audience sat and paying their tickets, and Tom is pretty great at creating subgenres of games for you all, while you're in the cinema-going, "'well, that butt doesn't look real.'"

And, he's right about that one!

While it's not completely clear if one of them actually does have a fake butt in the suit ... it's certainly not Andrew!

Uncle Frank Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire 'Memba Him?!

Harvey Fierstein was 40 years old when he played Uncle Frank -- the man responsible for helping magically transform his brother, Daniel, into an elderly housekeeper so he could see his kids -- in the classic 1993 family film "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Fierstein was cast alongside the legendary Robin Williams as the father and recent divorcee trying to make up for his childish behavior, Daniel Hillard, Sally Field as the mother who finds herself wanting a divorce from her husband, Miranda Hillard, and Pierce Brosnan as the new man in Miranda's life, Stu.

Guess what he looks like today at 69 years old!

Halyna Hutchins Sheriff Hasn't Axed Death Video ... Despite Husband's Demand

The Sheriff in the "Rust" shooting investigation is apparently telling the widower and son of Halyna Hutchins to pound sand, because the video the Sheriff released showing Halyna slowly dying after being shot is still available for viewing on the official website.

TMZ broke the story, Matthew Hutchins' lawyer, Brian Panish, fired off a blistering email Wednesday to Sheriff Adan Mendoza, demanding he takes down the video footage of Halyna dying on the church floor on the set of "Rust."

But, as of this post, the video was still live on the link provided by the Sheriff.

Halyna's husband ripped Sheriff Mendoza, saying he trampled the family's dignity and privacy by releasing the footage and other evidence in the "Rust" shooting case.

The footage shows Halyna bleeding as medics frantically tend to her ... and her husband argues it will cause irreparable harm to both him and their 9-year-old son Andros.

The family lawyer claims Mendoza had promised to let Halyna's husband review all the material from the case before its release, but he says the Sheriff double-crossed the family by releasing all the evidence without giving Matthew a chance to take a look first and weigh in.

We've learned the Sheriff hasn't even responded to attorney Panish's demand.

Unclear when the video will be taken down, if ever.

ALL CLEAR

Amanda Bynes and her fiance both called the police early Thursday morning in an incident that unraveled to her eventually accusing him of doing crack cocaine on social media ... LAPD sources tell TMZ.

Police arrived at Amanda's home at 2:30 AM after Paul Michael told the dispatcher he and Amanda were embroiled in a verbal dispute. Paul told cops Amanda had been taking his Adderall and was out of control. He said she kicked him out of the house, but he stayed until cops came. Sources close to the couple say Amanda had also called the cops, out of fear for her own safety.

Amanda went on Instagram early Thursday and said, "Paul told me that he stopped taking his medications. I looked at his phone and he was looking at mom-and-son porn. He vandalized his mom’s home. He broke all of her pictures and put salmon under her bed".

She wasn't done ... “His behavior’s alarming, and I’m afraid of what he’ll do.”

She ended by saying she allegedly “found Paul’s stash of crack cocaine. He’s been using for the past six months,” she claimed. “He needs serious help. I kicked him out of my house.”

We reached out to Bynes' lawyer, but so far no response.

As for Michael ... he went on Insta as well, saying he didn't know “what the f–k she’s talking about.”

They seemed to be getting along earlier in the day, but obviously, something happened that triggered both of them.

Amanda's 9-year-long conservatorship ended last month.

Alan Cumming Offering $10K For Missing Chimp Co-Star Bring Tonka Home!!!

Alan Cumming is on the hunt for his missing chimpanzee former co-star, Tonka ... and, he's putting up $10K to anyone who might have any info.

Tonka was last seen in a cage at a chimp breeding facility in Missouri. The facility no longer exists, but it was a place where chimps were bred then sold to private owners or rented out for movies and parties.

In case you didn't know, Alan and his furry friend go way back ... starring in the 1997 comedy "Buddy" together, alongside Rene Russo.

In a statement, Alan said ... “During the months we filmed together, baby Tonka and I became good friends, playing and grooming each other and just generally larking about".

And, whoever might have any information on the missing chimp will be walking away with double the money ... cause PETA put up another $10K reward, making the total cash about $20K.

PETA actually sued the MO facility over living conditions for the chimpanzees, calling them "filthy". Deadline notes, they eventually got permission to move Tonka and 6 other chimps to another sanctuary, but when PETA got there, back in July, he was missing with no trace.

Donny Davis Died Of Alcohol And Fentanyl Intoxication ... according to autopsy

Donny Davis died from alcohol and fentanyl intoxication ... TMZ has learned.

The Clark County Coroner has revealed his cause of death ... after getting autopsy results back for the longtime Vegas impersonator.

As we reported ... Donny tragically died in February in Vegas, where he was found in his hotel room bed ... after partying at a nearby hotel-casino, just hours before.

The beloved impersonator was well-known in Hollywood. He performed with Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Chelsea Handler ... just to name a few.

He became a regular on "Chelsea Lately" -- sometimes filling in for her go-to little person sidekick, Chuy Bravo. And, he was pals with Britney Spears for years. He was even hired as a dancer for Brit's Vegas residency show when it kicked off, back in 2013.

Donny did lots of private gigs for big stars like Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham and Charlize Theron. But, his face also became familiar on the big screen ... appearing in 2017's "It's Gawd!" after being in "Pain and Gain."

He was 43.

Tom Brady What's My Line!?! ... Posts Up On Movie Set W/ Jane Fonda, Sally Field

Tom Brady can pick defenses apart and memorize every play in the book, but the G.O.A.T.'s kryptonite appears to be a movie script -- 'cause the NFL superstar joked about fumbling his lines while on set of his new flick, "80 for Brady."

TB12 was all smiles alongside his costars -- Rita Moreno, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Sally Field -- in a pic posted to Instagram on Thursday ... saying he's "so grateful for these legendary women and the entire team that’s working to bring this story to life."

As previously reported, "80 for Brady" -- made by Paramount and Endeavor -- follows a group of 4 friends who attend Super Bowl LI ... and it ends up being an unforgettable trip.

Brady is producing and acting in the project ... and according to the Buccaneers QB himself, it ain't going too great so far.

"How many times do you think I had to call for my lines?"

Of course, we're sure the 7-time champ is just messing around ... after all, he was incredible in "Ted 2."

And, on top of that -- considering Brady is presumably playing himself in the movie, we're sure the dude can improvise pretty easily.

'Rust' Shooting Halyna Hutchins' Husband Outraged ... Over Release of Death Video

Halyna Hutchins' husband and young son have been re-victimized, this time by the Santa Fe County Sheriff, who released video of her as she lay dying after being shot.

Matthew Hutchins' lawyer, Brian Panish, fired off a blistering email to Sheriff Adan Mendoza, saying he trampled on their dignity and privacy by releasing the video and other evidence in the case.

Panish says Mendoza promised to let Matthew review all the material before its release, but he double-crossed the family by releasing all the evidence without giving Matthew a chance to look first.

Panish says in his email, obtained by TMZ, "Your office trampled on the constitutional rights of Hutchins." Indeed, there's a constitutional right in New Mexico for victims to be treated with fairness and dignity, and Panish says those rights were squarely violated.

Maybe even worse, Panish notes the footage of Matthew's wife, who lay bleeding as medics frantically tended to her, will cause irreparable harm to both him and their 9-year-old son Andros. Panish writes, "We fear, for example, that this shocking footage of Andros' mother dying may be material used by bullies to emotionally abuse him in the future."

And what's especially maddening ... Panish says the Sheriff didn't have to release this evidence ... it was discretionary.

He ends with this ... "We demand that your office respect Matthew, Halyna and Andros Hutchins' constitutional rights of dignity, privacy, respect and fairness going forward. Olivia Wilde Served Custody Papers by Sudeikis at CinemaCon

UPDATE

5:00 PM PT -- A source close to Jason tells TMZ ... "Papers were drawn up to establish  jurisdiction relating to the children of Ms. Wilde and Mr. Sudeikis."

UPDATE

The source adds ... "Mr. Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner."

Olivia Wilde endured a bit of embarrassment at CinemaCon this week -- while she was in the middle of screening the trailer of her new movie -- her ex served her legal docs.

The awkward moment was seen by multiple people who were in the room Tuesday when OW was on hand in Vegas to screen a never-before-seen trailer for her erotic thriller flick "Don't Worry Darling" -- which stars her beau Harry Styles and Florence Pugh.

The word is ... while Olivia was talking on stage, somebody came up and placed a manila envelope right down next to her at her feet -- which was marked 'Personal and Confidential.'

Olivia was photographed picking it up, taking a peek inside ... and then carrying on like nothing had really happened. But something certainly had -- according to Deadline, there were court papers in there courtesy of Jason Sudeikis ... with whom she shares two children.

The outlet says, citing sources, the docs involve child custody. As you know, they publicly split about a year and some change ago ... and since then, she's been in a whirlwind romance with Harry -- whom she also cast in her highly-anticipated film.

It appears that Jason and Olivia were getting along okay in the wake of their split -- but this clearly suggests otherwise. You gotta figure Jason wouldn't just do this to embarrass her if he didn't have to ... so, presumably, he hadn't been able to get these to her in a normal setting.

In any case, it definitely isn't pretty -- and lends to the idea that ... maybe they're not so copacetic as they put on. Also, this could potentially mean a custody battle is brewing. 😬

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer on the set of "Rust," was completely beside herself after the fatal on-set shooting that killed Halyna Hutchins ... this according to her attorney.

Hannah's lawyer, Jason Bowles, tells TMZ ... one of the first things she asked Lt. Benavides after the shooting is "Are they okay?" and "Is she okay?"

Hannah's in the body cam footage ... pretty clearly distraught and breathing heavily as she speaks to the lieutenant. Hannah talks to another crew member as she looks like she's panicking and grabbing her hair, telling them she's been yelled at several times already ... unclear what about.

A cart containing the rounds is wheeled up to Hannah ... as she attempts to show the lieutenant the rounds in question, she says she's "so scared" while seemingly hyperventilating. She then starts to cry while apologizing for what happened.

Peggy Brandt In 'The Mask' 'Memba Her?!

American actress Amy Yasbeck was 31 years old when she was cast as Peggy Brandt -- a news reporter who ends up outing the mystery man underneath the green mask - in the 1994 comedy/fantasy film "The Mask."

Amy shared the big screen with A-lister Jim Carrey as a bank teller and main protagonist, Stanley Ipkiss, Cameron Diaz as a singer of the Coco Bongo and love interest of Ipkiss, Tina Carlyle, Peter Riegert, the lieutenant who is on "The Mask" mystery case, Mitch Kellaway and Peter Greene, the main antagonist who is plotting to rob Stanley's bank, Dorian Tyrell.

Aaron Rodgers & Shailene Woodley Couple Breaks Up ... For Good This Time??

Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley might be done for real this time, 'cause after rekindling their romance a few months back, the A-list couple has reportedly broken up once again.

Remember, the couple briefly split in February -- after about two years of dating and an engagement -- but it didn't last long 'cause they were spotted out together shortly after ending the relationship.

38-year-old Rodgers took 30-year-old Woodley to teammate David Bakhtiari's California wedding at the beginning of March. The NFL MVP also shared a mushy Instagram post with the actress, thanking Shailene for showing him "what unconditional love looks like."

But, it seems it ultimately wasn't meant to be ... the couple has recently split, according to multiple reports.

Shailene reportedly wanted to make the relationship work, but soon realized after getting back together that everything had to be on Aaron's terms ... and that didn't work for her.

The couple started dating shortly after the Packers QB and Danica Patrick broke up in 2020. Aaron shocked his fans at the beginning of 2021 when he announced he'd popped the question to Woodley.

Bottom line for Aaron and Shailene  ... they're just two different people in two different spots and parting ways was best for the famous couple.

HBO Defends 'Winning Time' Amid Criticism ... Show Did 'Extensive Factual Research'

Jerry West might not want to hold his breath waiting on an apology from HBO ... 'cause the network is defending the controversial 'Winning Time' show and standing firmly with its "talented creators."

The show has been under serious scrutiny since it debuted in March -- with Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and, most recently, Jerry West, completely trashing the validity of what happens in each episode ... claiming a lot of it is straight-up not true.

But, HBO -- which had previously stayed silent on the public outcry -- released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday ... and the network didn't hold back.

"HBO has a long history of producing compelling content drawn from actual facts and events that are fictionalized in part for dramatic purposes," the network said in the statement.

"'Winning Time' is not a documentary and has not been presented as such. However, the series and its depictions are based on extensive factual research and reliable sourcing, and HBO stands resolutely behind our talented creators and cast who have brought a dramatization of this epic chapter in basketball history to the screen."

Of course, Quincy Isaiah -- who plays Magic -- pointed out to TMZ Sports earlier this month that the show clearly says that events in the show might have been dramatized ... and he meant no malice while doing his job.

Rams Hollywood Movie-Like Draft Trailer Starring Quaid, Holloway

The L.A. Rams don't have any picks until the 3rd round of the 2022 Draft, so they spent their extra time making an over-the-top, insanely-produced movie trailer leading up to this week's event ... and it's completely bonkers.

The Super Bowl champs dropped the nearly 3-minute clip for the fake movie, "On The Clock," on Tuesday ... with some huge names in Hollywood taking on the roles of the Rams' most important figures -- Dennis Quaid as owner Stan Kroenke, Josh Holloway as GM Les Snead, Tyrese Gibson as Raheem Morris and Scott Eastwood as Sean McVay.

Rams superstars Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford and Jalen Ramsey even joined in on the fun and showed off their acting chops ... playing dramatized versions of themselves.

The action is something like "Ocean's 11" meets "The Italian Job" ... and basically, the Rams wanted to come up with a fun way to say, "hey, we're going to come away with the best draft class, despite giving up all our best picks."

The team's description of the project goes as follows -- "Hot on the heels of their thrilling Super Bowl LVI victory, the Los Angeles Rams are determined to do the near-impossible: make lightning strike twice."

"On one of football's biggest nights – the NFL Draft – Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke assembles his team to infiltrate the high-profile affair in Sin City and do what they – and no one else – does best: steal the draft."

The video is legit pretty good ... and makes us wish the real thing was coming out.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the woman in charge of maintaining and supplying weapons on the set of "Rust" was clearly feeling some level of responsibility for what happened, as evidenced by newly released police bodycam.

In the footage, taken on the set of "Rust" just minutes after the shooting, you see a somber Gutierrez tell cops she was the film's armorer, followed by, "Or at least I was" before telling another officer, "Welcome to the worst day of my life."

A female cop accompanies Gutierrez to the restroom, she mutters, "I can't believe Alec Baldwin was holding the gun. That's so f****d."

The camera continues to record as Gutierrez asks the cops if she can be taken to a squad car away from her coworkers, as she seems to be embarrassed, before saying, "I just want to get the f*** out of here and never show my face in this industry again."
