Sports Illustrated is going to bat for Ashley Graham after Toccara Jones called her twerking abilities subpar -- and this new video of her booty-shaking in the sand ... is the perfect re-butt-al..

SI posted the new clip on Wednesday ... showing more of Ashley's on location twerk-off with a photo shoot crew member. Interestingly, the video dropped AFTER Toccara, the "Queen of Thickness," called out AG's twerk skills.

She straight-up laughed, telling us Ashley was lacking some major pop.

In Toccara's defense ... she was looking at a different SI vid (below), where Ashley was shot from afar.

We have no clue if the new angle would sway Toccara's vote, but we'll say this -- Ashley's got plenty of swaying going on back there. Plenty.

Brace yourself, Ashley Graham ... this might hurt a little. Her pal, Toccara Jones went full LMFAO after watching Ashley attempt to twerk during her S.I. Swimsuit photo shoot.

We got the self-proclaimed "Queen of Thickness" Tuesday at LAX, and asked her to evaluate Ashley's ass-shaking skills -- which AG herself touted on camera in the video posted by Sports Illustrated.

Let's just say, Toccara's review was straight-up cold-blooded.

Toccara did see some booty action in the clip that impressed her, but it was another chick on the set who caught her eye!

The upside -- TJ didn't criticize without compassion. In fact, she had some advice on how Ash can get more pop outta that thang.

Guess co-founder Paul Marciano is giving up his day-to-day responsibilities as a key executive of his fashion company while it completes a misconduct investigation.

Guess Inc. made the announcement Tuesday, which comes nearly two weeks after Kate Upton detailed allegations of sexual harassment against Marciano.

As we reported ... she claims he groped her breasts and thighs, forcibly kissed her, fired her from shoots and called her a "fat pig" in 2011. He's denied her allegations.

Shortly after coming out with her full story, Kate told us Guess needs to clean house if they really wanted to deal with their issues with women ... suggesting it was a company-wide problem that came from the top down.

As for this latest news ... Guess says Marciano will not be getting paid while he steps aside. He serves as the executive chairman of the co. board as well as its chief creative officer.

Kate Upton, Ashley Graham, Olivia Culpo, Barbara Palvin, Hailey Clauson, Danielle Herrington and Alexis Ren all posed for pics outside the Big Apple's Moxy Hotel where the event was held. Not exactly the beach, but who cares!

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and Christie Brinkley's daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook were there, too. The two are part of the issue's "In Her Words" spread where they posed nude with inspiring words tatted all over them.

Alexis Ren's not trying to hear the haters dismissing her as an Instagram model who has no biz being SI's Swimsuit Rookie of the Year -- she's too busy changing the game ... for the better, she says.

Alexis told us she's excited to be part of the new wave of nontraditional models, who don't get their start on catwalks and glossy magazines. She's not planning to rest on the laurels of her SI title or her nearly 12 million IG followers ... instead, Alexis wants to prove she's the new model for modeling success.

Kate Upton really coulda used a hand -- hers were busy covering her naked boobs when a powerful wave crashed her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot, which took place last October.

The gorgeous model was in Aruba ... posing topless, mind you, and standing on top of a massive rock. The photographer and crew were all set to get the perfect shot, but mother nature had other ideas.

The video shows the sheer panic on set once they saw the incoming wave -- a crew member raced to rescue Kate, with shoes in hand, but couldn't get a good grip and it was too late.

SI says the shoot is "a platform that allows the voice, the strength and the passion of these women to be expressed in the rawest form…on the naked body."

Bella Hadid just got a restraining order against a man who had allegedly been threatening her online and apparently lurking around her apartment.

Brian Perez has been ordered to stay clear of Bella. He had posted a pic of Bella's apartment recently, and she fears he might be staking out her New York City apartment.

Cops say Perez had been on a harassment campaign against Bella. According to legal docs, Hadid had received multiple Instagram messages from an account registered to Perez. She also received an Instagram video of Perez near her Tribeca apartment building.

One Instagram message reads, "You want me to come? I'm going to come there now." He goes on, "Please don't make me come all the way down there."

Chrissy Teigen is on a commercial shoot ... but from the looks of it, her dress is doing all the work.

Chrissy, John Legend and daughter Luna all showed up Monday for the shoot, which apparently requires Mom to show off some MAJOR cleavage.

She's about 5 months along with her second pregnancy, but she's clearly not slowing down a bit. In fact, she's still rocking some super-high heels.

While Chrissy's dress struggled to contain her ample assets -- John's super colorful tracksuit was fighting to get a little shine. Almost didn't see him there, right? It's okay, John ... hard to compete with the miracle of life.
