Colin Kaepernick Praises Kenny Stills ... For Taking a Knee
Trump hated it ... but, Colin Kaepernick had nothing but love for Kenny Stills and other NFL players who demonstrated during the national anthem on Thursday night.
Stills -- along with his Miami Dolphins teammate, Albert Wilson -- took a knee before their preseason game against the Bucs on Thursday night. Kaep was watching and approved.
"My brother [Kenny Stills] continued his protest of systemic oppression tonight by taking a knee," Kaep wrote.
"Albert Wilson joined him in protest. Stay strong brothers!"
Kaep added this note about Stills -- "[He] was awarded the Miami Dolphins’ community service awards the last two years. He participates in a number of youth organizations and was a team captain last year."
As we reported, Donald Trump hated the protest -- and railed against the players on Twitter, calling the league to suspend them.

Danny Amendola Shades Belichick ... He Was Like A Principal
Seems Danny Amendola hated playing for Bill Belichick ... 'cause he called the Patriots coach a "principal" with a "principal's office" -- and even insinuated he didn't want to play hard for him.
It all went down on the Barstool Sports' "Comeback SZN" Podcast ... when the Dolphins wideout was trying to compare his new coach, Adam Gase, to B.B. -- and he couldn't find enough differences.
"It's almost like coach Gase is one of the guys, one of the boys," Amendola says.
"And you want to fight hard for your boys. Back in New England, it's almost like you got a principal and a principal's office and sh*t like that."
Amendola's railing against Belichick -- a coach he played under for five seasons -- didn't stop there.
"[Gase] is our head coach, but he's also our boy. So, it's cool. It's refreshing to have that kind of relationship with a coach, something I haven't had in a long time."
FYI ... the Dolphins play the Pats twice next season, with the first matchup coming Sept. 30.
Can't wait.

Kristin Cavallari Clowns Jay Cutler What The Hell Do You Do All Day?!
Kristin Cavallari put Jay Cutler on the hot seat -- asking him straight-up ... now that you're not playing football, what exactly do you DO all day long?!
It's all part of their new E! reality show, "Very Cavallari" -- which follows KC as a working mom and Jay Cutler ... as a non-working mom.
No, really ... Cutler even jokes about how his life revolves around picking up their kids from school and beating "all the other moms there."
At one point, Kristin turns to Jay and says, "Like honestly, what do you do all day?"
Kristin also lectures Jay about it's time for her career as a jewelry designer to get priority -- saying, "You have to realize how many sacrifices I've had to make over 8 football seasons that we've been together."
For the record, Jay's 12-year NFL career earned more than $120 MILLION for their family.
And he might not be done yet ... telling Kristin he's not 100% retired from the NFL and won't know until Sept.

Kristin Cavallari Jay Cutler Has Real Offers ... But I Think He's Retired
He's not "officially" retired ... but Kristin Cavallari says she's pretty convinced her husband Jay Cutler is finished in the NFL.
"I think he's done," Kristin said on SiriusXM's "The Jenny McCarthy Show" ... "It's not official. But yeah."
Kristin says 34-year-old Jay is still trying to figure out his professional future and noted he has "a few offers on the table" ... but she didn't say if those offers were from NFL teams or media outlets looking for a broadcaster.
Of course, Jay signed a 1-year deal with the Miami Dolphins in 2017 to take over after starting QB Ryan Tannehill went down with a knee injury. Cutler threw for 2,666 yards with 19 TDs and 14 interceptions ... not terrible.
Cavallari has said she supports Jay no matter what decision he makes -- but it's obvious she's ready for the QB to hang up his cleats already.
In fact, she talks about how Jay has been working weekends as an NFL player for years and she's ready for him to spend ALL of his Sundays with their kids.
Stay tuned ...

NFL Protests Proposed $100M 'Bribe' Fails ... Players Keep Kneeling
The NFL tried buying their players off with nearly $100 million so they'd stop kneeling and protesting at games ... but apparently it didn't work.
The NFL recently proposed a deal in which they'd contribute $89 million over seven years to 2 organizations focused on African-American causes, as well as to the Players Coalition so they could use the money for whatever causes they wanted.
In exchange, the NFL wanted the National Anthem protests to end -- but the deal seems to have failed. Many players continued to kneel and demonstrate during this week's games.
The L.A. Chargers' left tackle Russel Okung raised his fist during the National Anthem Sunday, and the Oakland Raiders' Marshawn Lynch remained seated for the song. L.A. Rams player Robert Quinn raised his fist as well, and other players linked arms in solidarity.
At least 6 other players between Miami, New Orleans and San Francisco all took a knee after some of them publicly raised issues with the proposed deal from their bosses.
Back to the drawing board.

"I remember when I played for him ... he said, 'If you can count on 1 hand how many people you have as close friends, then you’re doing OK.' And that's been advice I've held close to my heart all these years."
If you're not into the warm and fuzzy stuff, Ricky also weighed in on the insane Aqib Talib vs. Michael Crabtree brawl ... and his reaction was kinda surprising.

Walker is hoping to bring attention to the Trayvon Martin Foundation by rockin' the cleats this weekend in Jacksonville.
