Canadian-born artist Yanic Truesdale is best known for playing the crotchety concierge Michel Gerard -- who graced the Independence Inn with his French finesse and deranged dietary drama -- on The WB's classic American dramedy "Gilmore Girls."
Yanic Truesdale shared the small screen with a cool cast of characters including Melissa McCarthy as the bossy business partner and buddy, Sookie St. James, Lauren Graham as the hotel owner and mother, Lorelai Gilmore, Keiko Agena as Stars Hollow High student and BFF, Lane Kim ... and of course Alexis Bledel as the daughter, Rory Gilmore.

Backpack Kid 'Memba Him?!
Georgia native Russell Horning -- or better known as Backpack Kid -- was a young teenager when he began to gain fame for his viral video comprised of original dance moves on social media ... but it wasn't until superstar Rihanna shared BK's vids on Instagram that the young dancer's popularity really caught fire.
Once Backpack Kid's signature dance move The Floss wiggled its way into pop culture the flossy teen was spotted on Saturday Night Live alongside Katy Perry as she performed her 2017 dance single "Swish Swish."
Backpack Kid is now a backpack adult and is focused on his fitness routine.

Washington D.C. artist Ginuwine (real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin) was only 26 years old when he became a singing sensation after his debut album Ginuwine ... Wyoming born wrestler Rulon Gardner inspired the world in 2000 when he traveled to Sydney, Australia to represent Team USA as a heavy-weight Greco-Roman wrestler to compete (and defeat) the unstoppable Russian Aleksandr Karelin in the finals and to take home the gold medal in one of the greatest moments in Olympics history!
That Olympic victory wasn't the most challenging part of Rulon's life ... he also battled through frostbite and hypothermia after a snowmobile accident in 2002 and an airplane crash into a lake in Utah in 2007.
Gardner continues to inspire the world ... but as a motivational speaker!

U.S. Gymnast Mary Lou Retton 'Memba Her?!
West Virginia athlete Mary Lou Retton was only 16 years old when she became a household name after she made the American gymnastics team and competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics Games held in Los Angeles ... where MLR took home the gold medal in individual all-around, as well as two silver and two bronze medals.
Retton was part of a power-packed squad of young gymnasts including Pamela Bileck, Tracee Talavera, Kathy Johnson, Michelle Dusserre and Julianne McNamara ... who worked together to win the silver medal in the team all-around.
