Cherry Poppin' Daddies Singer Steve Perry 'Memba Him?!

Oregon based artist Steve Perry (no not that Steve Perry) shot to fame as the singer and songwriter of the swingin' ska band Cherry Poppin' Daddies ... which made it big in 1997 with their single "Zoot Suit Riot" which spearheaded the ferocious swing flare-up in the late '90s ... complete with the signature styles of long chain-wallets, flashy suits and colorful fedoras.

Steve Perry is only one of two founding members in the Cherry Poppin' Daddies alongside the band's upright bassist Dan Schmid.

CPD continues to make music and has released almost 10 albums over the last two decades.

"Little" Chiron in 'Moonlight' 'Memba Him?!

New York based actor Alex Hibbert was only 12 years old when he landed the life-changing role of "Little" Chiron -- who learns valuable life lessons while bonding with Juan the local drug dealer turned father figure -- in the emotional 2016 film "Moonlight" ... which won Best Picture at the 89th Annual Academy Awards.

Brooklyn-born model and actress Talisa Soto was in her 20s when she landed the role as the butt-kicking Outworld's Princess Kitana -- who aligns herself with the Earth warriors and helps save mankind -- in the classic 1995 action film "Mortal Kombat."

Soto traded punches with an epic cast of actors including Bridgette Wilson as the military fighter, Sonya Blade, Christopher Lambert as the thunderous fight ref, Lord Raiden ... and of course Robin Shou as the good guy and love interest, Liu Kang.

Soto also played Kitana in the 1997 follow-up film "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation."

North Carolina comic Courtney Jackson is best known for being cast as the Southern sweetheart "Goldie" -- with her light-hearted antics and party-until-you-puke attitude -- on the debut season of the classic VH1 dating reality show "Flavor of Love" featuring Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav.
