Oregon based artist Steve Perry (no not that Steve Perry) shot to fame as the singer and songwriter of the swingin' ska band Cherry Poppin' Daddies ... which made it big in 1997 with their single "Zoot Suit Riot" which spearheaded the ferocious swing flare-up in the late '90s ... complete with the signature styles of long chain-wallets, flashy suits and colorful fedoras.

Steve Perry is only one of two founding members in the Cherry Poppin' Daddies alongside the band's upright bassist Dan Schmid.

CPD continues to make music and has released almost 10 albums over the last two decades.

New York based actor Alex Hibbert was only 12 years old when he landed the life-changing role of "Little" Chiron -- who learns valuable life lessons while bonding with Juan the local drug dealer turned father figure -- in the emotional 2016 film "Moonlight" ... which won Best Picture at the 89th Annual Academy Awards.

Hibbert shared the big screen with an incredible cast of actors including Ashton Sanders as the teenage version of Chiron, Trevante Rhodes as the adult version of Chiron ... and of course Mahershala Ali as the paternal, Juan.

Alex Hibbert continues to work in big roles including his character Kevin Williams in "The Chi."

Brooklyn-born model and actress Talisa Soto was in her 20s when she landed the role as the butt-kicking Outworld's Princess Kitana -- who aligns herself with the Earth warriors and helps save mankind -- in the classic 1995 action film "Mortal Kombat."

Soto traded punches with an epic cast of actors including Bridgette Wilson as the military fighter, Sonya Blade, Christopher Lambert as the thunderous fight ref, Lord Raiden ... and of course Robin Shou as the good guy and love interest, Liu Kang.

Soto also played Kitana in the 1997 follow-up film "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation."

New York native Rachel True was already a blazin' star when she landed the role as the anti-ganja girlfriend Mary Jane Potman -- who is dating the Mr. Nice Guy weed dealing Thurgood Jenkins -- in the classic 1998 marijuana movie "Half Baked."

For those of you with some short-term memory loss Rachel shared the big-screen with some awesome actors including Guillermo Diaz as the burger flipping stoner Scarface, Jim Breuer as the perma-high best friend Brian  ... and of course Dave Chappelle as the fund-raising Thurgood and the rapping weed lover Sir-Smoke-Alot.

True's other impressive credits include Rochelle in "The Craft" and Mona Thorne in "Half & Half."

North Carolina comic Courtney Jackson is best known for being cast as the Southern sweetheart "Goldie" -- with her light-hearted antics and party-until-you-puke attitude -- on the debut season of the classic VH1 dating reality show "Flavor of Love" featuring Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav.

Even though Goldie only made it to the final four in the competition and fell behind the combative "New York" and "Pumkin" ... as well as the winner "Hoopz" ... she was still one of the fan favorites because of her care-free approach to like and down-to-Earth personality.

El Paso, Texas actor Lydia Cornell was only 27 years old when she shot to stardom as the hot blonde daughter Sara Rush -- who lived downstairs from her parents with her sister, Jackie Rush -- in the classic '80s ABC family comedy "Too Close for Comfort."

Lydia Cornell shared the small screen with some cool character actors including Tony Award-winning Nancy Dussault as the matriarch, Muriel Rush, Deborah Van Valkenburgh as the other daughter and downstairs roommate, Jackie Rush ... and of course the classic comedian Ted Knight as the kooky cartoonist and father, Henry Rush.

Tennessee born comic Melanie Hutsell was in her early 20s when she landed one of the coveted roles as a regular cast member on "Saturday Night Live" -- which included her classic characters Di in the sorority sketches, Jan Brady on Weekend Update and other celeb spoofs like Tori Spelling and Tanya Harding -- in the early '90s seasons of 'SNL' from studio 8H.

Melanie was cast alongside some of the most well-known comedians in 'SNL' history including castmates Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Victoria Jackson, Chris Rock, Phil Hartman, Adam Sandler and David Spade.

Long Beach local Brice Beckham was only 9 years old when he landed the life-changing role as the youngest of the Owens family, Wesley -- who often looked to the butler for advice and comic relief -- in the classic '80s family sitcom "Mr. Belvedere."

Brice shared the small screen with an awesome list of actors in the Owens brood including Rob Stone and Tracy Wells as the older siblings, Kevin and Heather, Bob Uecker and Ilene Graff as the busy parents, George and Marsha ... and of course Christopher Hewett as the boss butler, Mr. Belvedere.

California native Roger Lodge is best known for his hosting chops in the late '90s and early '00s -- while thrusting two willing singles into a wild date night with crazy co-eds -- on the classic dating game show "Blind Date."

"Blind Date" was a pioneer in the dating game reality television show genre and really opened up programming to the seemingly endless shows that followed after "Blind Date's" success including: "Date My Mom," "Next," "DisMissed," "ElimiDate," "Taildaters," "Room Raiders," "Parental Control" and many more terribly awesome reality shows.

Roger Lodge now stays busy hosting a Los Angeles Angels radio program The SportsLodge on AM830 and raises two children.

West Coast artist Michelle Phillips was only 22 years old when she shot to fame as the harmonizing hottie and one-fourth of the folksy band The Mamas & The Papas ... who blasted into the ears of millions with their debut album "If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears" ... which included the classic singles "California Dreamin'," "Go Where You Wanna Go" and "Monday, Monday."

Michelle was joined in the supergroup by her then-husband, John Phillips, Canadian singer Denny Doherty ... and of course the iconic Cass Elliot aka Mama Cass.

British musician Roland Gift was only 28 years old when he shot to international stardom as the vocalist for the Birmingham-based rock band Fine Young Cannibals ... who gained fame after releasing their sophomore album "The Raw & the Cooked" in 1989 ... which featured the Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing."

Gift shared the stage and spotlight with the other two founding members of Fine Young Cannibals which consisted of Andy Cox on the guitar and synthesizer and David Steele on the bass and drum machines.

Pittsburgh born producer Shane Black is a big name in the movie industry as a writer and director with a long list of action movie credits ... but Black's on-screen role that he's best known for as the young glasses-wearing cadet Hawkins -- who is quickly killed by the unknown alien creature -- in the classic 1987 action film "Predator."

Shane was joined on the gun-toting jungle film by epic actors including Carl Weathers as the indestructible, Dillon, Jesse Ventura as the man with a minigun, Blain ... and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Vietnam vet, Dutch.

New York native George Hertzberg is best known for playing the villain, Adam -- who is ultimately slain by Buffy after she rips out his uranium power core with her bare hands -- in the early 2000s season of the OG action drama "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

While Hertzberg may have been the tallest actor on set standing at 6 feet 5 inches ... he was joined on the small screen by some HUGE stars including Alyson Hannigan as the slayer's sidekick, Willow Rosenberg, Nicholas Brendon as the BFF Alexander "Xander" Harris ... and of course Sarah Michelle Gellar as the Buff herself.

Illinois artist Jessica Rickleff was in her early 20s when she became famous as the blonde and pink-haired punker babe Jes -- who beats out Heather Chadwell to win Bret Michaels' heart -- in the original season on VH1's "Rock Of Love" back in 2007.

Jes shared the rockin' reality show screen with some legendary ladies including Cindy Steedle as the cougar "Rodeo," Lacey Conner as the trouble-making villain ... and of course Heather Chadwell as the second place babe.

"Rock Of Love" lasted for three seasons total but made a lasting impression in that short time and even spurred the spin-off "Daisy Of Love" with season two contestant Daisy de la Hoya.

Ohio born actor Rex Lee is best known for playing the hard-working assistant Lloyd Lee -- who thrives in his high-stress job while constantly subjected to his boss, Ari Gold's, mood swings and verbal assaults -- in the iconic early 2000s HBO drama "Entourage."

Rex was cast alongside some awesome up-and-coming actors including Adrian Grenier as the Hollywood actor, Vincent Chase, Kevin Dillon as the dopey brother, Johnny "Drama" Chase, Jerry Ferrara as the behind-the-wheel buddy, Turtle ... and of course Jeremy Piven as the aggressive agent, Ari Gold.

Canadian actor Linden Porco is best known for playing the killer leprechaun -- who still wants his gold back and slays a group of sorority sisters after being brought back to life from the well -- in the 2018 OG sequel "Leprechaun Returns."

Even though Warwick Davis didn't join the new cast in the iconic horror film, Mark Holton did join in on the new school slasher as his classic character, Ozzie, as well as other new castmates, including Taylor Spreitler as Lila and Pepi Sonuga as Katie.
