The 'Lost' Diary -- LA X, Parts 1 & 2
Daniel from TMZ here, welcome back to another edition of The "Lost" Diary.
I love making lists -- Top 10 This, 20 Favorite That -- and I am often asked to rank my favorite television shows of all-time. And every time I do, I leave "Lost" off entirely. See, I can't possibly judge "Lost" until it's over. The final season will dictate how I view the entire series forever. If the final season blows, I will feel like I wasted six years of my life. If it delivers, I will feel completely vindicated. So for me, tonight's episode is the beginning of how I will remember "Lost" the rest of my life.
For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. I plan on watching the final season of "Lost" with as many new people as possible this season, but tonight I am going old school -- just me and Ari.
Let's roll ...
9:00 -- I just watched an hour-long show that was essentially a "Previously on 'Lost'" -- do I need more?
'Lost' Star -- Proud of His VD
Ian Somerhalder -- who returns as Boone this season on "Lost" -- is the first person we've ever heard utter the words "Everybody needs a little VD" ... and completely mean it.
BTW -- Daniel is gearing up for the long-awaited return of The Lost Diary, so check back tomorrow for his take on what we expect to be the most confusing two hours of television ever.
Does anyone even remember what's happening on that show right now anyway?

Man Claims He Got 'Lost' First
There may be one human being on Earth who understands the TV show "Lost" -- a guy who claims he created the show 32 years ago.
Anthony Spinner -- a producer on "Baretta" and "Babes in Toyland" -- says back in 1977 he was paid $30,000 to write a TV pilot, which eventually became a 121-page script called "Lost."
Spinner is now suing ABC and Touchstone Television, claiming the network passed on the show in '77, '91 and '94 ... then suddenly created an exact replica with Touchstone in 2004.
Spinner lists a ton of similarities in his suit -- which was filed on July 10 -- notably an "airplane headed to Los Angeles [that] crashes into a tropical jungle-like environment."
Spinner also alleges the new "Lost" characters -- including Jack, Locke, Sayid, Kate and Sawyer -- are all rip-offs ... down to their occupations and dark pasts.
The comparisons go on and on. Spinner is suing for damages and a cut of royalties, profits and a bunch of other stuff. Spinner tried to sue a few years ago, but it was dismissed for procedural reasons.
Sawyer Was Alicia Silverstone's B*tch
Sure, Josh Holloway is king of the jungle on "Lost" -- but for our photog, Josh's most memorable role was as the dude who got his ass handed to him by Alicia Silverstone when he tried to steal her purse in Aerosmith's "Cryin'" video.
Josh was amused.

'Lost' Star Sued for Sexual Harassment
Henry Ian Cusick, who plays Desmond on the show "Lost," is being sued for sexual harassment.
According to a lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Chelsea Stone claims that while working on the show, Cusick placed his hand on her buttocks and caressed the back of her body while making moaning sounds.
She also claims Cusick "placed his face on top of [her] breasts, moving his face from side to side." He then squeezed her breasts with his hands.
According to the lawsuit, approximately twelve days after this went down, Stone was let go. ABC and Grass Skirt Productions are also named as defendants. She is seeking unspecified damages.
Cusick's rep had no comment.

The 'Lost'Diary -- Some Like It Hoth
Welcome back to another edition of The "Lost" Diary.
The last two weeks have been so phenomenal, I am almost approaching tonight's episode with nervous trepidation. Can "Lost" really knock three in a row out of the park?
For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. I am actually writing this at 3:30 AM Thursday morning. I went to the Clippers game last night with my friend Aaron (congrats A-Dogg, you have finally made the Diary) and I didn't get home til almost 11:00 PM. So I decided to take a quick catnap before watching "Lost." Let's roll ...
9:00 -- I don't know if my brain can handle a Miles-centric episode of "Lost" right now. I am going to need to seriously focus.
9:01 -- "I told you! I can hear him!" -- Little Miles
'Lost' Star -- Dead Isn't Always Dead
M.C. Gainey -- aka Tom/Mr. Friendly on "Lost" -- was killed off in season three. But he brings up a good point: Dying on that show doesn't necessarily mean you're really dead.

The 'Lost' Diary -- Whatever Happened, Happened
It's Daniel from TMZ here, welcome back to another edition of the "Lost" Diary.
We've got a lot of different things going on right now (time travel, Little Ben got shot, etc.) but I need to focus on something that impacts the entire show -- Juliet vs. Kate. Now, Sawyer (and Jack before him) is faced with that very same conundrum right now and I have to say I like the way he's going. I am very pro-Juliet. I put it to a vote among my friends and Juliet won 7-4 (we're talking long term prospects here, not a one-nighter). Reasoning ranged from "Kate would drop me as soon as someone better came along" and "Kate gets kidnapped every five minutes." Makes sense to me.
For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. I am watching solo tonight as I only got home just in time to watch the West Coast feed after nearly two hours at the gym with Satan -- I mean my trainer Adam. He's like Ben, but with an ill-fitting tank top. Let's roll:
9:01 -- Jin awakens from his Sayid beating and, inexplicably, tells the Dharma people where Sayid is heading. Why'd he do that?
