Folks have donated nine figures to victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires thanks to online crowdsourcing ... with some of Hollywood's biggest names among those opening their wallets.

TMZ has learned GoFundMe has raised more than $100 million to directly support families, communities and businesses who have lost everything in the fires.

We're told the money is also going to non-profits like World Central Kitchen, Salvation Army and Baby2Baby ... who are providing critical aid to impacted residents.

Folks living near the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfire are on high alert after a resident confronted a suspicious hiker on a remote road in Topanga ... and now cops are involved.

TMZ obtained video of a tense interaction between a Topanga local and a lone hiker, who gave vague answers to basic questions about where he was going and what he was doing walking around with a backpack in a fire zone.

There are concerns arson is the cause of the Palisades Fire ... and at one point during the exchange, the hiker responds to a question about the contents of his backpacking by saying unprompted, "Definitely not any lighter fluid."

The L.A. wildfires have claimed the life of another Hollywood entertainer ... this time it's "Blues Brothers" actress Dalyce Curry, whose remains were reportedly discovered in a fire-ravaged home over the weekend.

The L.A. County coroner's office confirmed to Dalyce's family on Sunday night her corpse was found inside her burned house in Altadena, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.

Curry's granddaughter also confirmed Dalyce's death in a Facebook post ... she wrote she dropped Dalyce off at the Altadena home last Tuesday, the same day wildfires in L.A. erupted -- and that was the last time she saw her grandma. After 6 PM that same night, the Eaton Fire sprang up, torching a huge swath of Altadena in the northeastern part of L.A.

Sheryl Lee Ralph and her son Etienne Maurice are offering solid advice to fire-affected families ... emphasizing that not everyone in L.A. is wealthy, and victims need all the help they can get.

The duo spoke to TMZ Monday while volunteering at Etienne’s WalkGood Yard, his nonprofit wellness studio ... where Sheryl pointed out regular working-class folks have lost everything too, and donations are needed to assist anyone who's been affected.

Speaking from her own prior experience with a house fire, Sheryl urged those struggling after losing their homes to hold on and not lose hope, saying things have to get better.
