Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt STRONGLY believes he belongs in the Pro Bowl this year ... and threw himself a rally in L.A. on Thursday to fire up the voters to get his ass to Orlando!

Kenny says he's having the best season of his 8 year NFL career -- and wants the league to take notice.

37 catches for 584 yards and 3 TDs ... not bad. In fact, he's ranked #19 in total receiving yards this year.

But good enough for the Pro Bowl? The people with signs seem convinced. Are you?

Rams fans, don't give up on your 3-5 squad just yet ... 'cause one of the team's best players, Kenny Britt, says L.A. still has a legit shot to make the PLAYOFFS!

TMZ Sports saw Britt leaving Catch in West Hollywood Monday night ... and asked the wide receiver if the Rams -- who've lost 4 straight -- could still make the postseason.

Britt ain't exactly exuding confidence ... but he says the Rams definitely have a shot.

If they do somehow make the playoffs ... will it be 'cause Jared Goff got 'em there?

We asked Kenny ... check out the clip.

L.A. Rams' T.J. McDonald Pleads Not Guilty To DUI ... Must Attend AA Meetings

L.A. Rams player T.J. McDonald has pled not guilty to his DUI charge stemming from his arrest back in May ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, the 25-year-old safety was busted for a non-alcohol related DUI in Los Angeles on May 10th after he crashed into a parked car.

This week, McDonald's attorney appeared in court and pled not guilty on his behalf.

The judge ordered McDonald to attend two AA meetings a week until his next hearing -- and said he can only attend one meeting per day.

He's due back in court at the end of the month.

L.A. Rams Stars Packing the House ... Win or Lose

Turns out Hollywood's more than just a Lakers town -- celebs are making the L.A. Rams a new Sunday Funday tradition.

A-listers like Ty Burrell, Tyga, Josh Hutcherson, Ashley Greene, Gene Simmons, Chris Paul, Lindsey Vonn, Chloe Grace Moretz and many more spent the afternoon at the Coliseum cheering on the Rams during their 2nd game back in the West Coast.

Sure, they lost to the Buffalo Bills ... but at least they can fall back on the ole "We've got hot fans" cheer.

Eric Dickerson If Carson Wentz Was An L.A. Ram He'd Be Sittin' On The Bench

Carson Wentz is lightin' it up in the league ... but if he was on the L.A. Rams, he'd be sittin' on the bench, just like Jared Goff ... NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson tells TMZ Sports.

Dickerson -- one of the greatest Rams of all time -- joined "TMZ Sports" (weeknights on FS1) to discuss the 2 QBs ... and whether the Rams screwed up selecting the one they did.

FYI -- Wentz, the #2 pick, has led his Eagles to a 2-0 start (3 TDs, 0 INTs). On the other hand, Goff, the #1 pick, was inactive for the Rams 1st game ... and served as the backup for the 2nd.

So, does Eric think the Rams screwed up not drafting Wentz? And if they drafted him, would he be killin' it with the Rams like he has with the Eagles?

NOT A WARM WELCOME
FOX Sports West

He may have been supporting the home team, but LeBron James still got a bunch of crap from Rams fans at the Coliseum on Sunday ... getting peppered with "Kobe!" chants from the stands.

Besides James, there was a TON of huge stars at the Rams game -- the first NFL home game in Los Angeles in years -- including Magic Johnson, Ty Burrell, Flea, Anthony Kiedis, CeeLo, James Corden and more!

L.A. Rams' T.J. McDonald Charged with DUI

L.A. Rams safety T.J. McDonald just took a hit ... the L.A. City Attorney's Office is charging him with non-alcohol related DUI ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, the 25-year-old was arrested on May 10th after crashing into a parked car. Law enforcement sources tell us they believe medication was involved.

The City Attorney charged McDonald with one count of driving under the influence of drugs. Still no word on what the drug or drugs.

He's facing up to 6 months jail time if convicted -- but it's extremely rare for a first-time DUI offender, like McDonald, to get locked up.

Neither the NFL nor the Rams have disciplined him yet.

L.A. Rams Yo, Patriots ... We Dig Lobstah Too

The L.A. Rams are eating like they're New England Patriots, even if they're not scoring like them. Yet.

The Cousins Maine Lobster food truck rolled up to Rams practice on the Cal Lutheran University campus in Thousand Oaks and shelled out $4,000 worth of lobster to the players.

Seems like the team's already going Hollywood, since even their food has to be famous now. The owners of Cousins Maine struck a deal on "Shark Tank" with Barbara Corcoran.

The Rams have their home opener in L.A. this weekend, and they'll be fueled up on lobster tots, lobster grilled cheese, and lobster rolls.

Probably won't be enough to help 'em upset the Seahawks, but at least they got some good grub.

Tavon Austin NFL Star's Car In Police Chase ... Friend Arrested

An expensive BMW registered to L.A. Rams star wide receiver Tavon Austin was involved in a police chase in California on Wednesday and the driver was arrested ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Cops say Dominic Makell -- a longtime friend of the NFL star -- was driving a silver BMW X6 on a California highway. For some reason, cops tried to pull him over ... but Makell allegedly took off.

Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop and Makell was arrested for felony evading an officer and willful disregard. He was hauled to a nearby station where he was booked. Bail was set at $50,000.

We're told Austin's name was listed as the registered owner of the car on the official police report.

We spoke with the Rams and the team confirmed Austin was at practice all day and was NOT involved with the arrest.

We also reached out to Tavon's agent for comment -- so far, no word back.

Tony Gonzalez Rams Don't Trust Jared Goff ... It's His Own Fault

ONE MORE SHOT
TMZSports.com

Don't believe this crap about Jeff Fisher benching Jared Goff for Week 1 so he could "sense and absorb the pressures" of the NFL ... he DOESN'T TRUST THE ROOKIE ... so says Tony Gonzalez.

"Coach Fisher's been around for a long time," Gonzalez says ... "Obviously he doesn't trust him enough to even dress him ... so that says a lot right there."

Goff -- the #1 overall pick in the draft -- was listed as the 3rd string QB for Week 1 ... and was in street clothes as the Rams got blown out by the 49ers.

Fisher told the media he doesn't want to rush Goff -- even though the team traded SIX DRAFT PICKS to get him. Fisher had said he was pleased with Goff's progress.

Yeah, right.

Gonzalez played 17 seasons in the league -- and he says it comes down to one thing ... Goff had the entire preseason to win over the coaching staff ... and he blew it.

Kevin Federline The Rams Are Crap

You know it's bad when Federleezy's takin' shots.

49ers Field Crasher Dude, You're Arrested

The guy who invaded the field during the 49ers vs. Rams game last night -- and covered more ground than Case Keenum -- was arrested immediately following his 4th quarter romp.

The invasion actually went viral, thanks to the brilliant live commentary of MNF announcer Kevin Harlan ... who proclaimed, "The guy is drunk, but there he goes!"

He later described the incident as, "The most exciting thing to happen tonight."

It was.

But it came at a cost for the invader -- who happened to be an underage male ... according to the Santa Clara PD.

A police spokesperson confirms the kid was arrested for an unspecified misdemeanor.

More importantly ... maybe the Rams should give him a tryout.

Tre Mason Arrest Warrant Issued ... Again

More troubling news for Tre Mason -- another arrest warrant has been issued for the L.A. Rams running back after he failed to show up for a mandatory court appearance ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Mason was ticketed for driving with a suspended license on August 13th in Palm Beach, FL and was told he needed to appear before a judge on September 7th.

According to court records, the 23-year-old was a no-show ... so the judge issued a warrant for his arrest. When he turns himself in, his bond will be set at $2,000.

Mason's family has expressed serious concern for the NFL star's mental health over the past few months -- and have tried to get him help.

Mason's mother has previously told police her son hasn't been well since the end of the 2015 NFL season -- blaming multiple hits to the head sustained during his football career.

NFL's Jared Goff Advice from Ex #1 Pick Tim Couch ... 'I Know How You Feel'

Ex #1 overall NFL draft pick Tim Couch says people need to chillax before labeling Jared Goff as a "bust" -- saying it's almost impossible to live up to #1 pick expectations ... and he needs time.

FYI, Goff was demoted to 3rd string QB this week -- shocking, considering the Rams made some big moves to get him -- and people are already throwing around the "B" word.

"The pressure is incredible," Couch says ... "Especially being the #1 overall pick. The expectations are almost impossible to live up to really. I think fans a lot of times expect too much too soon from you."

"You almost feel like every time you go out there that you have to prove to everyone why you were the #1 pick with every throw."

He would know ... the Browns selected the Kentucky QB with the #1 pick back in 1999. After a slow start, Couch found his rhythm in his 4th season and led the team to the playoffs.

So, what's his advice to Goff?

"I think the biggest thing is to not lose your confidence. To never doubt that you belong there ... He was the #1 pick for a reason. He's a very talented player."

Couch says despite the depth chart, it's ESSENTIAL Goff prepares every week as if he's the starter -- "When you got your shot, you have to ready to perform at a high level."

Bottom line ... Couch says Goff can still be a huge star ... but maybe hold off on drafting him to your fantasy team.

Tre Mason's Mom to Cops Football Destroyed My Son ... 'He's Not Himself Anymore'

Tre Mason's mother has told police ... her son should NOT be playing football anymore -- because the head injuries he suffered in the NFL have had a devastating impact on his mental health.

TMZ Sports has obtained police footage from a July 27th incident when cops cited the L.A. Rams running back for illegally riding his ATV around his neighborhood in Palm Beach, Florida.

When they got to his home, cops told his family they were concerned Mason was too busy "f***ing around" and "should be playing football."

That's when Tre's mother dropped some real talk on the cops.

"No, he actually shouldn't," she said ..."because this is the [side of] football that nobody knows about."

"He's 22 in a 10-year-old's mindset right now ... Tre's not himself at all."

Tre's mother says the family could see an obvious change in Tre's personality after the 2015 NFL season ended.

As we previously reported, Tre has been at the center of several police incidents in the past few months -- and his family clearly believes football is the root of the problem.

The Rams say they have not been in touch with Mason since last season -- and judging by the video, it doesn't seem like they'll ever hear from him again.
