Bronny James Brings Sold Out Crowd To USC ... Ahead Of Big Debut
The hype for Bronny James is REAL ... the college basketball player is already sellin' out games just like his pops, and before his big USC debut.
Bronny and the rest of the USC Trojans are going up against Long Beach State on Sunday, but good luck gettin' a ticket -- 'cause every single one has already been snatched up!
Sunday's game marks the first time Bronny's hitting the court as a college athlete, and LeBron told reporters on Thursday how excited he was for his boy's big milestone ... saying it's a match he's incredibly looking forward to.
LeBron even claimed he'd miss his own Lakers game if it fell on the same night as Bronny's ... luckily, it doesn't.
TMZ broke the story, Bronny suffered cardiac arrest during a workout on campus back in July, and ended up spending a couple of days in the hospital ... and was cleared last month to get back on the court.
Thankfully, it seems that scary chapter is behind Bronny and co. ... and a packed stadium of fans can now catch his moves on the court for the big milestone!

Report: Zion Williamson Pels Want Him To Get In Shape ... He 'Doesn't Listen'
The New Orleans Pelicans are trying like hell to get Zion Williamson to work on his fitness, but the franchise player is tuning them out -- this according to a new report.
The 2019 No. 1 overall pick appeared gassed throughout the Pels' In-Season Tournament semifinal game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday ... something many analysts pointed out as a reason why it was a 133-89 blowout in favor of LeBron James and Co.
Of course, Zion's size has always been a hot topic since he entered the league ... and the team even reportedly implemented a weight clause in the five-year extension he signed last season that would penalize him if the sum of his weight and body percentage surpassed 295.
FYI -- Zion reportedly weighs in at 284.

According to Christian Clark of NOLA.com, the Pelicans have continuously told Williamson he has to work on his diet and conditioning ... but simply put -- he "doesn't listen."
Zion admitted after the Pels' loss that he needs to be more aggressive on the court ... but it certainly sounds like the team is expecting improvement off it, too.

LeBron James 'Super Excited' For Bronny's Debut ... 'Big Milestone'
LeBron James and the Lakers punched their tickets to the In-Season Tournament championship Thursday night, but there was a different matchup the NBA superstar said he was pumped about -- Bronny's first-ever game at USC.
King James addressed the big news of his eldest son being slated to make his big debut this weekend with reporters on Thursday ... and he explained how it'll mean "everything and more" to see his kid fully return from his cardiac arrest in July.
"Looking forward to that for sure," LBJ said after the Lakers routed the New Orleans Pelicans in the semis in Vegas. "Super excited for that moment."

Bronny is expected to play in USC's home game against Long Beach State on Sunday ... after completing his first full-contact practice on Thursday.
LeBron explained he is excited to see Bronny run out on the court with his teammates following his medical clearance ... but also when he enters the game -- whenever that may be.
"It's a big milestone for our family, for sure," LeBron said. "It's another step for him on his journey in his basketball career. Looking forward to it."
Of course, LeBron previously stated he was willing to miss one of his own games in order to be there for his son ... so we take it he will be front and center to soak it all in on Sunday.
Luckily, the Lakers will have a few days off after going up against the Indiana Pacers in the IST finals ... so no need to call in sick!!

LeBron James Pleads For Gun Control After UNLV Shooting ... 'It's Ridiculous'
LeBron James is fed up with the lack of change to America's gun laws after the recent mass shooting on UNLV's campus ... saying it's "ridiculous" to see yet another tragedy unfold somewhere people should feel safe.
LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers are slated to face off against the New Orleans Pelicans in Vegas for the semi-finals of the In-Season Tournament on Thursday ... and when speaking with media members, the four-time champ expressed his frustrations with hearing about yet another act of gun violence.
"It just goes back to what I said before about guns in America," LeBron said Wednesday. "I think it's such a longer conversation, but we're the only ones who keep dealing with this same story, this same conversation every single time it happens, and it just continues to happen."
"The ability to get a gun, the ability to do these things over and over and over, and there's been no change is literally ridiculous. It makes no sense that we continue to lose innocent lives, on campuses, on schools, at shopping markets and movie theaters and all type of stuff. It's just ridiculous."
67-year-old college professor Anthony Polito is accused of opening fire on UNLV's campus ... killing three people and wounding a fourth. Investigators are reportedly looking into whether a recent job rejection played a role in the act.
LeBron -- who has been outspoken against gun violence in the past -- believes lawmakers are asleep at the wheel ... claiming firearms have become even more accessible throughout the country.
"The fact that we haven't changed anything -- it's actually been a lot easier to actually be able to own a firearm, it's stupid."
The league will reportedly hold a moment of silence for the UNLV victims ... but as of right now, the In-Season Tournament games will continue as planned.

Jay Williams Defends Udoka Trash-Talking LeBron James ... It's Part Of The Game!!!

Jay Williams has no issue with Houston Rockets coach Ime Udoka going off on LeBron James in the middle of a game ... telling TMZ Sports trash talk is all part of the nature of the sport.
ICYMI, Udoka -- who became Houston's head coach in April -- got into a heated confrontation with James during the Rockets vs. Lakers game on Dec. 2 ... appearing to tell the NBA superstar and his team to "stop crying like bitches."
LEAKED Audio Of Ime Udoka Trash Talking LeBron James👀:
— LegendZ (@legendz_nba) December 3, 2023 @legendz_nba
Udoka: “Stop crying like b*tches, man”
LeBron: “We’re all grown men, that b*tch word ain’t cool”
Udoka: “Soft a** boy, stop b*tching. Acting like you’re gonna do something” pic.twitter.com/tmcFFsxpUu
Udoka was ejected from the game and later criticized for his manner as a coach ... but when we asked Williams about the clash while he was out at LAX this week, he defended the former player.
"Basketball to me is what you see at Rucker Park," Williams said. "Basketball to me is what you see at the Dyckman [Park]. It's what you see on Venice Beach."
"That's the world it comes from, that's where it's rooted from and people get things twisted. Ime Udoka was a player."
Of course, Udoka played for seven seasons in the NBA from 2004-2011 ... meaning he competed in the same era as LeBron.
That's where that aggression toward LBJ came from, Williams believes ... and it also shows why Ime acts differently from other coaches in the NBA.
"For me, I like people that engage and trash talk like that, 'cause it comes from a place -- you can tell there's history there," Williams said.
"I'm sure there'll be some type of fine for crossing the line, but you don't think subtle trash-talking like that exists? What do you think Gary Payton did his entire career? What do you think Draymond Green does?"
Williams added ... "One of the things that makes Ime different is that he's involved in the trenches of the game as a player."
The NBA has not announced a penalty, if any, for Udoka as of Tuesday morning.

The historic pieces of memorabilia, photo matched to prove they were worn by KB on April 11, 2016, were on the block at SCP Auctions, and as expected, they sold for a pretty penny!
Kobe's game-worn, 3XL Adidas Climacool shorts and 4XL jersey sold for $366,967 ... while the size 14 Nike Kobe 11 Elite Lows went for $118,230. That's $485,197 total!

The identity of the buyers isn't known ... but whoever it is, they got themselves a piece of history.
After all, it was the second to last game of his career, and it's difficult to imagine the Bryant family ever letting go of the jersey from his final NBA game ... where KB went off against the Utah Jazz in L.A.
SCP also unloaded a game-used basketball from February 2009 ... when Kobe dropped 61 points against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Spalding official NBA game ball sold for $66,632.

LeBron James Goes After Ime Udoka Mid-Game ... Over 'Bitch' Comment
The Saturday night tiff between LeBron James and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka all started over a "bitch" comment -- a word that the Lakers star blasted Udoka for using "so loosely."
The quarrel went down during Los Angeles' tilt with Houston at Crypto.com Arena ... after Udoka was pissed with James for pleading with officials for a foul call.
Arena microphones captured Udoka telling LeBron, "Stop crying like bitches, man" -- and during a break in the action on the court a short time later, LBJ went after Udoka.

"We're all grown men," James said to the coach, "that bitch word ain't cool. Don't use it so loosely."
Udoka, however, didn't back down ... and a heated exchange then ensued.
"What're you going to do about it?" Udoka can be heard saying.
Eventually, the referee threw Udoka out of the game after he appeared to call James "soft-ass boy."

LeBron James I'm Not Missing Bronny's Debut ... If Lakers, USC Games Overlap
LeBron James is vowing not to miss Bronny's first college basketball game ... revealing he will skip his day job with the Lakers to watch his son play for USC if their schedules overlap.
The King spoke with reporters following L.A.'s 133-110 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday ... hours after it was announced his oldest son was cleared to return to hoops following his cardiac arrest in July.
LBJ said it's a "proud moment" for his entire family ... and he's so excited for 19-year-old Bronny, he's already let the team know he won't be available to play if his kid's debut falls on the same date as a Laker game.
"Looking forward to his first game," James told reporters. "Whenever he's cleared and whenever he's ready to have his first game, I already told my teammates that if they play on the same day we're playing, then I'm going to have to catch them the next game."
LeBron's teammates jokingly let out groans after his comment ... but he made it clear the James Gang is his priority.
"Family over everything, champs. I love y'all. But, I definitely gotta see Bronny's first game whenever he's cleared and ready to go."
As we previously reported, Bronny will have a final evaluation with USC staffers and participate in practice next week ... and will make his first game appearance soon after.
The Lakers and USC have five potential scheduling conflicts over the next couple of weeks -- Dec. 28 and 30, and Jan. 3, 13, and 17.
There's a chance LeBron won't have to miss any Laker games at all ... which would be good news for fans, as the Purple and Gold currently sit at 11-9 on the season.

Bronny James Cleared To Return To Basketball ... Four Months After Cardiac Arrest
Bronny James has been given the green light to resume his athletic career -- medical officials have cleared the USC freshman to play basketball again ... just four months after suffering cardiac arrest during a workout.
A rep for LeBron James' family shared the great news on Thursday ... saying the 19-year-old hooper will have a final evaluation with USC staffers in the coming days before joining his teammates at practice next week.
The statement added once Bronny gets some practices under his belt, he will suit up for the Trojans "soon after."
"The James family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible medical team, the entire USC community, and especially the countless friends, family, and fans for their love and support," the statement said. "Fight On!"
Bronny was sidelined for USC's first seven games of the 2023-24 season ... with the team going 5-2 in his absence.
The Trojans play Gonzaga on Saturday, which means they'll have at least one more game without #6. Based on the statement, it sounds like Bronny could make his debut either December 10 against Long Beach State ... or a week later against Auburn.
Bronny James Suffers Cardiac Arrest During Workout at USC
TMZ Sports broke the story -- Bronny collapsed on the court during a workout on campus on July 24. It was later determined he had "an anatomically and functionally significant Congenital Heart Defect," which caused the cardiac arrest.
Bronny has been with the team over the course of the season ... supporting his squad from the sidelines.

Kobe Bryant Uniform From Final NBA Road Game ... Expected To Bring In $500k+ At Auction!
-
Exclusive
Kobe Bryant's full uniform -- from the jersey on his back to the Nikes on his feet -- worn by the NBA legend during the final road game of his historic career is now up for auction ... and the items are expected to rake in over half a million bucks!
SCP Auctions has some awesome Mamba merch on the block this time around (game-used and signed basketball from his 61-point performance at MSG, championship ring gifted to KB's dad) ... including Bryant's shorts, jersey, and kicks from the Lakers vs. Thunder game at Chesapeake Bay Arena in Oklahoma City on April 11, 2016, Kobe's 677th and last regular season away game.
Bryant, who along with his Lakers teammates were on the second leg of a back-to-back, scored 13 points that night ... entirely in the first quarter. Kobe, battling fatigue and stiffness due to injury, couldn't get going offensively the rest of the game (LAL lost 112-79), though not for a lack of effort, even going one-on-one with a much younger Kevin Durant.
The 4XL Adidas purple mesh official NBA jersey, adorned with Kob's iconic number 24, are being sold together as a package with the 3XL Adidas Climacool shorts.
Cool tidbit ... the shorts contain a small microphone pocket so Bryant could be mic'd up while playing.
The jersey and shorts have been photo-matched by two industry leaders (Resolution Photomatching and Sports Investors), according to SCP ... where experts painstakingly examine high-resolution photos, along with the items, looking for unique characteristics.
Authenticators determined Kobe not only wore the shorts in OKC, but on 9 other occasions during the final months of his emotional farewell season.
As for the sneakers, Kobe's own sized-14 Nike Kobe 11 Elite Lows are also on the auction block! The shoes show signs consistent with being used in one game (meaning they're in good shape!)
SCP expects the uniform (shorts and jersey) to sell for upwards of $500K ... meanwhile, the sneakers are expected to bring in around $100 grand!
It's easy to see the pieces going for exorbitant prices when you consider the possibility that this is the last ever game-worn memorabilia to hit the open market ... as it was Kobe's second to last game.
Of course, on April 13, 2016, two days after the OKC game, Bryant dropped 60 points in a comeback win over the Utah Jazz at the Staples Center ... one of the finest farewell performances in sports history.
That uniform is presumably held by the Bryant family, and it's hard to imagine them ever letting go of that uniform.
Kob's last-ever road game uniform and sneakers auction ends December 2!

Adele More Evidence of Matrimony ... Check Out the Ginormous Ring!!!
Adele is engaging in matrimonial shenanigans ... flashing an ENORMOUS rock Wednesday night at the Lakers/Mavericks game.
Adele and Rich Paul were sitting courtside, of course, at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena, as she clearly leaned into rumors she and Rich are already hitched.
There have been rumors for sure ... as you probably know she's been referring to herself as RP's wife during her residency in Vegas. Once she said she wasn't "the greatest wife when it comes to football."
And just this week there were folks at the Alan Carr comedy show in L.A. who say Adele was there and confirmed the rumored nuptials.
We haven't been able to confirm, but the rock is pretty solid evidence, don't you think?
As you know ... Adele bought a massive estate from Sylvester Stallone for $58 mil and she and Rich have gutted it, so it seems they're putting down stakes.

L.A. Lakers Fan Injures Himself At Game ... Grasps At Leg During Shooting Contest
An L.A. Lakers fan not only lost out on $55,000 during a shooting contest at Sunday's game ... he also might have seriously injured his leg in the process.
The wild scene happened during a break in the action at Crytpo.com Arena ... when Lakers officials set up a game where a fan named Anthony could've scored a ton of cash if he hit a half-court shot.
Anthony initially seemed super confident he'd get the job done ... telling an in-arena host, "This is what I do."

A short time later, however, everyone in the building quickly learned this is not what Anthony does.
Check out footage from the contest ... as Anthony released the ball, he somehow hurt his left leg -- and he was hurting so much, he ultimately crumpled to the floor.
While the in-arena host attempted to get him to come back to make another attempt at earning money ... Anthony was in simply too much pain to continue.
"Let's put our hands together for the attempt," the host said as officials walked Anthony off the court.
It's unclear how badly the fan was injured ... although he at least got to go home somewhat happy -- as his team was able to finish off the Rockets, 105-104, later in the evening.

"Today's game was the first game he got an opportunity to warm up with his team," LeBron said with a smile. "He's almost there."
LeBron added that seeing Bronny courtside gave him a little extra juice in the Lakers' 105-104 win over the Rockets.
Trojans head coach Andy Enfield, meanwhile, said Sunday night it was "great" seeing Bronny warm up ... though there's still no set timetable for a return to action.
"We’re going to patient," he said, "and go through the process."
