Of course, while the Dodger faithful wouldn't mind being in their seats in time to catch the start of the tilt vs. the Orioles -- they're all clearly there to make sure they get their hands on some coveted Ohtani bobbleheads, which will be handed out to the first 40,000 who come to the door.

Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and his wife say their three-year-old son, Maximus, is taking steps in the right direction ... revealing they have "seen a lot of progress in the last week and a half" after he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

The Freemans took to Instagram to share the strides their son has made after he was forced to spend eight days in the pediatric ICU ... and thankfully, it's all good news.

They wrote that they are happy with how things are going ... saying he can sleep through the night again and sit without needing any assistance. They noted he recently started to army crawl ... as the disease can affect one's ability to walk.

2:38 PM PT -- More good news for Dodger fans -- it's being reported Freddie Freeman will return to the team's lineup when the they welcome the Philadelphia Phillies for a three-game series on Monday.

The squad will show their support for 3-year-old Maximus with shirts that read "#MaxStrong" across the chest during pregame activities.

While Max starts his road to recovery, Freddie will also look to help his team continue their push to the MLB postseason -- and with the kind gesture, it's clear the Dodgers will be there for their star first baseman.

Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and his wife just shared good news about the health of their three-year-old son ... he's been released from the pediatric ICU, but the couple says the young boy still faces many challenges.

The Freemans took to Instagram via a joint post to let fans know that after eight days in an intensive care unit, Maximus is finally home ... as he walks the road to recovery after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Shohei Ohtani's ex-translator and best friend, Ippei Mizuhara, will plead guilty to multiple federal charges -- after admitting to taking nearly $17 million from the Dodgers superstar -- and now faces up to 3+ decades in prison!

On Wednesday, The United States Justice Department announced that 39-year-old Mizuhara would soon face the music after agreeing to plead guilty to one count of bank fraud and one count of filing a false tax return for the extensive, multi-year fraud.

"The extent of this defendant’s deception and theft is massive,” United States Attorney Martin Estrada said of Ippei's actions.
