THE AWESOME TRIBUTE

Even the guy who plays "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at Dodgers Stadium was affected by the death of Chester Bennington ... and honored the Linkin Park singer with a musical tribute on the stadium organ.

Just before the Dodgers took the field against the Braves, team organist Dieter Ruehle played his own version of "Numb" over the loudspeakers.

That's not all ... during the game Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy used LP's "Figure.09" as his walkout music when he took the field.

While Chester was from Arizona, the band was especially big in L.A. -- where the founding members are from.

BELLY'S BOMB BOAT BDAY

How does one of the biggest young superstars in baseball celebrate his birthday?? Boat party turnup in Miami with his teammates, of course!!

Cody Bellinger and his fellow Dodgers friends hit the deck for his 22nd birthday Thursday ... taking advantage of their extra time in South Beach following the All-Star break to down some brews on the water.

Justin Turner appeared to throw the shindig for Belly ... with Alex Wood, Corey Seager and all their significant others joining in on the fun.

The highlight of the party -- the baseball bros actually had Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" song playing in the background as Bellinger blew out his birthday candles.

"... Girl, you know I-I-I!!!!!"

An all-out chaotic brawl broke out between opposing fans at the Dodgers vs. Angels game Monday night ... leaving one fan with a bloody face.

It all went down in the pavilion section of Dodger Stadium when 2 fans started barking at each other ... but things quickly turned physical when they dragged each other to the ground and started throwing punches.

Other fans joined in by throwing haymakers and beers ... while a mother and her crying daughter try to separate themselves from the altercation just a few feet away.

Stadium security and off-duty cops broke up the fight ... but surprisingly, no arrests were made and the aggressors left the game on their own. A police report was not made for the incident.

The Angels won the game 4-0.

Forget Rookie of the Year -- Cody Bellinger already has MVP chops ... so says L.A. Dodgers analyst/former Dodger Jerry Hairston.

"He is a legit MVP candidate," Hairston told TMZ Sports before Tuesday night's game at Dodger Stadium ... a 12-0 L.A. blowout that saw Bellinger slug home run #22 (his 10th in 10 games!).

Hairston knows what he's talking about -- he played in the bigs from '98 to '13 and won a World Series with the Yankees in 2009.

As for Bellinger ... he's on the most torrid HR pace for a rookie EVER ... pretty insane considering the kid started the season in the minors.

Hairston -- a third-gen MLBer -- told us he's "never seen a start to a career like this."

Even Cody's dad, a three-time World Series champ, can't believe what he's seeing.

Cody Bellinger is having such an insane rookie year with the Dodgers, his own father can barely believe the numbers ... but tells TMZ Sports, "It's really fun to watch."

We spoke with ex-MLB player Clay Bellinger -- who won 3 World Series during his pro baseball run -- and he tells us he's incredibly proud of his boy.

FYI, Cody has already blasted 18 home runs -- more than anyone else in the league since he was called up on April 25th. He's currently tied for 5th overall in HRs.

Ya gotta hear Clay gush about Cody's meteoric rise. It's awesome. Plus, Clay reveals the Dodgers legend who's really gone out of his way to help the kid.

L.A. Dodgers Burglars Punished For Masked Stadium Theft

The two L.A. Dodgers security guards who donned masks and stole a ton of gear from the team clubhouse have finally been punished ... and are officially banned from the memorabilia biz.

We broke the story ... Fernando Sierra and Juan Dedios Prada were caught on video in 2015 sneaking around Dodgers Stadium (in masks) in an effort to steal game-used bats, gloves, etc.

Officials believe the guys had been doing it for a while -- and made serious profits moving the stolen loot with the help of a 3rd man who sold it on eBay.

Now, we've learned the 2 security guards (who have since been fired) cut a deal in which they pled no contest to burglary and got 3 years formal probation.

As part of the deal, they are not allowed to sell any kind of sports memorabilia.

The stakes are high because they also got a 16 month suspended prison sentence -- meaning if they screw up, they go to the slammer.

The eBay seller pled no contest to receiving stolen property. He got hit with the same punishment.

Tommy Lasorda Recovering After Heart Surgery

Dodgers legend Tommy Lasorda is "doing well" after after undergoing heart surgery Thursday to replace his pacemaker ... and is expected to return to Dodgers Stadium soon.

The 89-year-old is still in the hospital recovering from the procedure. He's not expected to be released for a few more days, team officials say.

Tommy's been hospitalized several times over the years -- but keeps fighting through his ailments to make appearances at Dodgers Stadium.

In fact, he attended the tribute to Vin Scully earlier this month.

Get well soon.

Good news for Dodgers fans ... manager Dave Roberts says there's no reason why the team shouldn't be right in the World Series race this season.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Blue Crew skipper who's clearly fired up about his squad this year as they get tuned up at Spring Training in Arizona.

We also spoke with Roberts about Yasiel Puig and the break-in at his L.A. home ... and Roberts tells us the MLB star was "heartbroken" over the incident.

The bigger issue, Roberts says ... even though Puig can afford to replace the missing items, he feels violated and that sucks.

One last thing ... Roberts owns a winery, Red Stitch Wine -- and he says it might be the BEST celeb owned vino on the planet!

Dodgers Star Yasiel Puig's L.A. Home Hit By Burglars $500k In Jewelry Gone

Yasiel Puig is the latest victim in a string of celeb burglaries in L.A. -- this time, crooks broke into the baseball star's L.A. home while he was in Arizona with the Dodgers for Spring Training and made off with more than half a million bucks in bling.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports ... burglars forced their way into the home while it was empty and made off with 3 high-end Rolex watches and other pieces of expensive jewelry.

The thieves may have been inspired by the Kim Kardashian robbery, where she flaunted ultra-expensive jewelry on social media. Puig, who's almost always dripping in gold, is also a big fan of flaunting it on social media.

Sources tell us Puig had tapped a relative to stay in the house while he is away -- but the crooks made their move when that person was away.

Seems L.A. jewel thieves are having a helluva year -- Alanis Morissette, Derek Fisher and Cesar Millan have all been hit in 2017 and so far, no arrests have been made.

Don't be surprised if there's another 240 pound beast dominating the sports world in about 17 years ... 'cause Yasiel Puig says he desperately wants his brand new baby son to follow in his athletic footsteps.

We got Puig out at LAX, and wanted to know what life's been like since he had his second kid earlier this month ... a boy named Daniel Sebastian.

Puig says daddy duty is easy right now -- all the kid does is sleep -- but he hopes the little guy's dreaming about ATHLETIC DOMINATION!

The L.A. Dodgers' uniforms need a little touch-up, so says Tommy Hilfiger ... who tells TMZ Sports he's just the guy to do it!

Hilfiger says he's a big Dodgers fan ... and he wants to help the team evolve on the fashion front since they've basically rocked the same look since the '50s.

Tommy's even got a plan ... so Dodgers fans can start bleeding a color other than Dodger blue.

Here's Yasiel Puig proving that the turn up NEVER expires ... video of the Dodgers star cutting a rug with some sassy senior citizens in South Florida.

Puig popped into the Clinica Las Mercedes in Miami ... on what was apparently Move Your Body Day, and jumped into a pretty mean conga line with some of the folks there.

You gotta check out the vid ... some of the ladies seem to really be digging what Puig was puttin' down ... and did a serious shimmy on the slugger when they got the chance.

Age ain't nothin' but a number.

Don't hit the panic button ... the Dodgers are gearing up for one helluva comeback -- so says Steve Garvey, who believes the Blue Crew will beat the Cubs AND the Indians!

We spoke with the 10-time MLB All-Star -- who told us it ain't time to hit the panic button on L.A. yet since they still have Kershaw up their sleeves ... who will crush Chicago in game 6.

But Garvey didn't stop there ... the Dodgers legend says his former squad will ultimately bring home the World Series hardware -- and he even predicts how many games it'll take to get the job done.

Charlie Sheen & Ashton Kutcher Back On the Same Team Bro Out At Dodgers Game

What beef???

Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher came face-to-face at Dodger Stadium Wednesday night -- but there was no rivalry, just love ... and beer.

Remember, the two got off to a rocky start when Ashton took over for Sheen on "Two and a Half Men" back in 2011 and continued to trade shots on social media until 2014.

But last night when Ashton spotted Charlie in the good seats at the NLCS -- he went over to the star and the two bro'd out.

We're told the interaction was short (there was a game taking place after all) but everything was friendly and positive ... except for when the Dodgers lost.
