Good news for Dodgers fans ... manager Dave Roberts says there's no reason why the team shouldn't be right in the World Series race this season.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Blue Crew skipper who's clearly fired up about his squad this year as they get tuned up at Spring Training in Arizona.

We also spoke with Roberts about Yasiel Puig and the break-in at his L.A. home ... and Roberts tells us the MLB star was "heartbroken" over the incident.

The bigger issue, Roberts says ... even though Puig can afford to replace the missing items, he feels violated and that sucks.

One last thing ... Roberts owns a winery, Red Stitch Wine -- and he says it might be the BEST celeb owned vino on the planet!

Yasiel Puig is the latest victim in a string of celeb burglaries in L.A. -- this time, crooks broke into the baseball star's L.A. home while he was in Arizona with the Dodgers for Spring Training and made off with more than half a million bucks in bling.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports ... burglars forced their way into the home while it was empty and made off with 3 high-end Rolex watches and other pieces of expensive jewelry.

The thieves may have been inspired by the Kim Kardashian robbery, where she flaunted ultra-expensive jewelry on social media. Puig, who's almost always dripping in gold, is also a big fan of flaunting it on social media.

Sources tell us Puig had tapped a relative to stay in the house while he is away -- but the crooks made their move when that person was away.

We got Puig out at LAX, and wanted to know what life's been like since he had his second kid earlier this month ... a boy named Daniel Sebastian.

Puig says daddy duty is easy right now -- all the kid does is sleep -- but he hopes the little guy's dreaming about ATHLETIC DOMINATION!

The L.A. Dodgers' uniforms need a little touch-up, so says Tommy Hilfiger ... who tells TMZ Sports he's just the guy to do it!

Hilfiger says he's a big Dodgers fan ... and he wants to help the team evolve on the fashion front since they've basically rocked the same look since the '50s.

Tommy's even got a plan ... so Dodgers fans can start bleeding a color other than Dodger blue.

L.A. Dodgers stars Yasiel Puig and Justin Turner surprised guests at local Coffee Bean stores Monday morning ... and even made drinks for customers.

The event kicked off the Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour ... where players and coaches give back to the area.

Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher came face-to-face at Dodger Stadium Wednesday night -- but there was no rivalry, just love ... and beer.

But last night when Ashton spotted Charlie in the good seats at the NLCS -- he went over to the star and the two bro'd out.

Holly Robinson Peete says her autistic son, RJ, currently works in the L.A. Dodgers clubhouse ... and it's all thanks to manager Dave Roberts.

"My son has autism," Holly said ... and when Roberts first met RJ, he "treated him just like an amazing kid. Gave him a great job."

RJ is 19 years old -- but when he was a little boy, doctors told Holly he would never talk, have friends, go to school or get a job.

He's done ALL of those things -- thanks to support from incredible people like Dave Roberts.

"He's just the best," Holly said ... "I'm glad he's our manager."

Think the Dodgers were stoked to take a 2-1 lead in the NLCS Tuesday night??? HELL YEAH!!

It was pitch perfect on the field and in the stands Tuesday night ... with Rebel Wilson joining a bunch of big stars at Dodger Stadium to watch the Blue Crew annihilate the Cubbies!

Magic Johnson, Andy Garcia, Eric Stonestreet, Arsenio Hall, Dennis Haysbert and more were all in attendance as the Dodgers blanked CHI in a dominating 6-0 victory.

L.A. Dodgers slugger Adrian Gonzalez says he refused to stay at a Trump hotel in Chicago during a regular season road trip ... explaining, "I had my reasons."

The Dodgers usually use the Trump International Hotel & Tower when they come to the Windy City to play the Cubs -- but back in May, A-Gon asked the team to make arrangements for him to stay somewhere else.

Gonzalez didn't get into the specifics when asked about the hotel situation -- only explaining, "I had my reasons" ... according to JP Hoornstra of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

Let's get serious ... it was a Donald Trump protest move ... even if he didn't say it.

By the way, the Dodgers did NOT stay at the Trump during the first 2 games of the NLCS in Chicago this weekend ... but the team says it has nothing to do with A-Gon or politics.

It's safe to say there wasn't a dry spot in the Dodgers' locker room Thursday night ... as L.A. celebrated its NLDS-clinching win with a TON of beer, champagne and Josh Reddick in an American flag Speedo!!

The Dodgers scored 4 runs in the 7th inning of Game 5 of the NLDS to beat the Washington Nationals 4-3 ... and the boys went all out with their post game party.
