Ne-Yo Condemns Parents Who Let Kids Transition Genders
Ne-Yo says parents shouldn't be letting their kids transition genders ... suggesting minors don't know any better, but that adults should.
The singer spoke his mind in a recent VladTV interview, where he was talking to Gloria Velez. They touched on a number of topics, but eventually ... landed on transgenderism, especially as it relates to children.
He says he feels like a lot of people have lost sense of the definition of parenting -- because, in his mind, it boils down to being wiser than your kid ... and knowing when to put your foot down and say no. In this case, he believes affirming a child's gender identity is wrong.
Ne-Yo's rationale comes down to this ... transitioning genders is a life-altering decision, and he argues children (especially young ones) truly don't know what the hell they want, or on this particular topic ... what they even mean when they say they want to be a boy or a girl.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
He hit his point home by saying this ... "I just personally come from an era where a man was a man and a woman was a woman. And there was two genders and that's just how I rocked. You could identify as a goldfish if you feel like, that ain't my business, it becomes my business when you try to make me play the game. I'm not gonna call you a goldfish."
One last thing ... Ne-Yo references California legislation, which he (somewhat mistakenly) says will make it so parents lose their kids if they don't affirm their child's gender identity.
It's not quite what he's describing -- but there is, in fact, a bill working its way through the CA legislature right now (AB 957) that would require a judge in custody disputes to consider whether a parent is affirming their kid's identity in determining who they stay with.
There are 2 other bills in the pipeline touching on this issue as well ... AB 223 and AB 665. Assuming they pass the Assembly/State Senate ... they'll almost surely be signed into law.

O'Shae Sibley Arrest Made in Fatal NYC Stabbing of Gay Dancer ... Charged as Hate Crime

Police have arrested someone in connection to the killing of O'Shae Sibley -- a gay dancer who was recently stabbed to death in NYC ... this after voguing to Beyoncé's music, no less.
The NYPD announced Saturday that they had a suspect in custody, whom they believe is responsible for Sibley's death. The unidentified perp is a 17-year-old boy, per cops, and he's being charged with murder ... which NYPD says is being prosecuted as a hate crime.
The suspect surrendered Friday in Brooklyn, accompanied by a lawyer. He'd been on the police's radar since the July 29 incident ... as they believed he went to school in the area. So far, he's the only one being charged, although it's unclear if he'll be tried as an adult.
Beyoncé Honors Gay Fan Who Was Killed, Allegedly for Voguing to Her Music
The fact this is being pursued as a hate crime lends credence to what friends of Sibley's -- some of whom say they were actually there at the gas station that night -- have been saying on social media ... namely, that the suspect and whatever group of people he was with apparently had an issue with Sibley and co. being gay. It led to a full-blown shouting match, and an eventual scuffle that resulted in Sibley being stabbed ... which was caught on video.
Based on reports, it sounds like the whole thing emanated from Sibley and his friends dancing in the parking lot ... and playing Bey's music in the background. The singer paid tribute to Sibley after hearing about it -- she has his name up on her website's homepage.
Since his death, tons of people have been paying their respects in a number of ways -- including visiting the site of his murder and voguing/protesting en masse, in his name.

The heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune is appalled the company that bought his family out used a transgender person to advertise Bud Light ... saying, "My ancestors would have rolled over in their graves."
Billy Busch (not the host of "Extra") appeared on "TMZ Live" Friday to discuss his new book, "Family Reins: The Extraordinary Rise and Epic Fall of an American Dynasty," when Harvey asked him about the Bud Light ad featuring Dylan Mulvaney -- a move which triggered a massive boycott.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Busch believes the company that succeeded his family should never have put a transgender person on a Bud Light can, arguing beer drinkers "want their beer to be truly American," adding, "I just don't think the audience that drinks beer is into transgenders."
Billy Busch ...
He went on, saying, "People who drink beer care about wholesome things."
Busch argued being a transgender person is a sexual preference, and Harvey shot back, "It's a matter of identity, not sexual preference."
That triggered a whole argument about prejudice, but Busch was adamant -- he feels the successors to Anheuser-Busch screwed up royally.
The full interview airs Friday on "TMZ Live."

Blueface Grills 6-Yr-Old Son About Sexuality ... Again
Blueface's competence as a parent is being questioned once again ... the "Thotiana" rapper went on IG Live with his son Javaughn, and befuddled the poor kid by quizzing him about his sexuality.
While holding his daughter in his lap, Blueface was fielding questions from fans and decided to rehash the subject and, without warning, asked Javaughn if he was gay.
The kid quickly replied no, but also admitted he had no idea what his dad was yapping about.

Blueface bluntly told his son if he ended up being gay he'd be disappointed but would still love him.
Blueface just grilled his son on this topic a few weeks ago ... while his house was full of strippers, at that.
Fans of the controversial couple are upset with Blueface's new line of questioning, which feels like will be part of the child's upbringing at this point.

Matty Healy Same-Sex Onstage Kiss Gets Malaysia Music Festival Canceled
Matty Healy kissed a dude onstage during a Malaysian music festival -- in protest, no doubt -- and now ... the whole thing's been scrapped for the rest of the weekend.
The 1975 front man was performing with his band Friday in Kuala Lumpur, as part of the Good Vibes Festival that was running through Sunday. Unfortunately, the rest of the performers who were booked won't be taking the stage because of what went down.

Throughout their set, Matty made it clear he was pretty pissed about the country's anti-LGBT laws -- which have criminalized homosexual acts, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
He ranted on camera ... and the dude ripped the Asian country a new one, while also promising to perform angry songs as a result -- apologizing to the crowd for having to bear the brunt of his rage. He said there were likely gay people in the audience that night.

Eventually, he hit his point home by locking lips with his bassist, Ross McDonald ... launching into a full-blown make-out sesh in front of everyone, which got oohs and ahhs.
It wasn't long after that the 1975 abruptly left the stage ... only to see Matty briefly return to announce what was going on. He said they'd been banned, and that the show was over.

Unfortunately for everyone ... this ended up getting the whole festival nixed, at the behest of the government. The festival organizers issued a statement, laying the blame squarely at Matty's feet, saying ... "We deeply regret to announce that the remaining schedule of the Good Vibes Festival 2023, planned for today and tomorrow has been canceled following the controversial conduct and remarks made by UK artist Matty Healy from the band The 1975."
They add, "This decision adheres to the immediate cancellation directive issued ... by the Ministry of Communications and Digital. The Ministry has underlined its unwavering stance against any parties that challenge, ridicule, or contravene Malaysian laws." The Comms Minister is also quoted as saying they won't take stars "(touching) on the sensitivities of the community, especially those that are against the traditions and values of the local culture."
While you'd think Matty might be getting nothing praise, you'd be wrong ... he's actually catching a lot of flak for what some say was nothing but a performative stunt/posturing -- knowing full well they'd probably get kicked out, and ruin everyone else's good time.

Jacksonville Jaguars associate strength coach Kevin Maxen just came out as gay ... in what is believed to be a first for a male coach in major men's pro sports in the United States.
The Jags staffer made the announcement in an interview with Outsports on Thursday ... saying he's ready to live his truth without worrying about revealing his sexuality anymore.

Maxen added he consulted NFL free agent Carl Nassib -- who came out 2021 -- for some advice about the process ... explaining he wanted to help build acceptance of LGBTQ+ members in sports.
The former college football linebacker also revealed he is happily in a relationship ... saying he has been seeing his partner, Nick, for more than two years.
"It wasn’t until recently -- and with the immense love and support of my family, my friends, colleagues and peers, and the courage and sacrifice from my partner -- that I realized I have the right and responsibility to love and be loved, and that maybe sharing this will hopefully give someone else the strength to accept their own life and take control of their own story."
As for how his team will react, Maxen believes it will not be an issue as long as he continues to do his job.
"I have a pretty good sense of humor," he told the outlet. "So a lot of the guys I can joke with and not take anything personally."

Dog The Bounty Hunter is clarifying some controversial and threatening comments he made about transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney ... and now says he wasn't serious.
The former reality TV star went on the "Two Guys From Hollywood" podcast and attempted to explain his threats of physical violence as all bark and no bite.
TMZ broke the story ... Dog's daughter, Lyssa Chapman, apologized after her father's shots at Dylan and added, "Get that punk down. Rebuke Satan out of [Dog] and just give him a couple black eyes. That's exactly and I mean that. If I ever see him, I'm dropping him."
Now, Dog's backtracking ... at least when it comes to the threats, which were part of a larger homophobic rant.
Dog says he's never actually beat anyone down, and he wants to show people mercy and give them grace.
What's more, Dog says if Dylan was ever attacked by thugs he would jump in to help DM ... and he says he's sorry for contributing to Dylan feeling unsafe.
Still, Dog says nothing changes the fact he disagrees with Dylan's lifestyle ... and he's still worried Dylan is influencing children to transition, and that's why he's so upset.
While he was reluctant to use female pronouns for Dylan, saying "she's a he" -- he now says he understands, and compares it to his own preference to be called Dog and not Duane.
Not exactly the point, Dog ... but we can all agree walking back the violence is a positive.

'Spider-Man 4' Star Tom Holland Roasted Online For New LGBTQ Role ... Other Fans Run To His Defense
Tom Holland is playing a gay man in a new TV show ... but it's not sitting well with some of his 'Spider-Man' fans while others are defending him.
Holland -- who recently announced he will return to the superhero role in "Spider Man 4" -- came under fire on social media Friday for his part in the Apple TV series, "The Crowded Room."
In one scene, Holland and another man have steamy sex, which sparked the online outrage.
One person tweeted, "Tom Gone Wrong #NotMySpiderMan."
Another wrote, "LMAOOOOOOO dis is really somebody’s favorite Spider-Man"
It's probably a mix of unabashed homophobia and people who think only a gay actor should play a gay role.

Anheuser-Busch Heir Says Bud Light's Transgender Ad Was Insult to Beer Drinkers
"I want y'all to drink this f***ing beer," he said. "I want y'all to drink this f***ing beer. I got three cases of Bud Light."
"Hey," he added, "And I want to say this -- if you're gay, bless you. If you're transgender, bless you. And, if you have a problem with that, f*** you!"

Of course, the LGBTQ+ community and Bud Light have been under fire recently following Anheuser-Busch's decision to partner with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for a BL promotion.
The collab sparked so much outrage amongst conservatives, the beer giant reportedly lost more than $27 billion as people protested.
But, Barkley obviously believes there's no need for that hate and anger ... making his stance on the issue crystal clear out in Nevada.
This is not the first time, though, that Barkley has been vocal in his backing of the LGBTQ+ community ... in fact, at this same event last year, he delivered a similar speech.

The transgender influencer -- dressed in a sheer striped top -- popped up Thursday at Outfest, an LGBTQ+ film festival at the Orpheum Theater ... showing up for the screening of "Aristotle And Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe."
Dylan's not in the flick, but it's directed by trans filmmaker Aitch Alberto -- marking the first time in Outfest's 41 years projects made by trans artists have both opened and closed the festival, so it's a pretty big deal.
If you haven't been following along, Dylan's resurfacing comes after she took a solo trip to Peru to do some healing ... shedding light on how messed up she felt it was she had to leave her native country just to feel safe.
Remember, folks went into a frenzy after Dylan and Bud Light partnered up for some promotion, with Anheuser-Busch reportedly losing more than $27 billion amid the outrage.

Dog The Bounty Hunter Daughter Lyssa Apologizes To Dylan Mulvaney ... After Dad Makes Threats

Dog The Bounty Hunter's lesbian daughter is apologizing to trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney in the wake of her father's homophobic rant, where he appeared to threaten Dylan.
Lyssa Chapman, who starred on Dog's reality TV show, tells TMZ ... she would like to send her apologies to Dylan and the trans community as a whole, and her heart breaks over Dog's hateful comments.
The apology comes on the heels of an interview Dog gave Tuesday, where he launched a homophobic tirade and took shots at Dylan and Bud Light.
In reference to Dylan, Dog said ... "People playing church all led to Bud Light. Is that right? Get that punk down. Rebuke Satan out of him and just give him a couple black eyes. That's exactly and I mean that. If I ever see him, I'm dropping him."
Lyssa says Dog's comments are not in line with her father's character (though he more than doubled-down) ... she feels that's not who Dog is and she says she's trying to find out why he said such nasty things.
Dog's daughter tells us they spoke on the phone after the interview, and she says it was mostly just them yelling and talking over each other ... the conversation, she says, was far from productive.
Lyssa says Dog's comments do not reflect the morals he taught her growing up ... and she loves him, but worries he's watching too much cable news.
Dog's other daughter, Bonnie Chapman, also released a statement aimed at her father, saying, "Jesus loves everyone and would strongly denounce this non-accepting rhetoric. It is utterly repulsive to to advocate violence against our transgender community, and it is equally repulsive to invoke Jesus' name in vain to support such views.
For her part, Dylan has not spoken out against Dog's comments ... and Lyssa tells us she will always stand up for the LGBTQ community.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Launches Homophobic Tirade 'We Don't Need No More Sissy Men'
Dog the Bounty Hunter went on a homophobic rant that was fire, brimstone and very revealing.
The former reality TV star was interviewed Tuesday with his wife, Francie, talking about faith and religion before he set his sights on the LGBTQ+ community.
The show's host, Sharell Barrera -- who apparently runs an online Christian ministry -- brought up transgender children and LGBTQ+ kids expressing their sexuality.
Dog jumped on it ... saying we as a society have to stamp all that out, going on to say
"Jesus was not a sissy" -- and that we don't need any more "sissy men."
When it comes to the month of June, Dog says ... "The pride comes before the fall." He wasn't done ... moving on to same-sex relationships, particularly men with men, and dropped the antiquated refrain ... "God made Adam and Eve ... not Adam and Steve."
He then said anyone who was "coming for your children" would have to get past Jesus' blood and shotgun shells first.
