Captain Jack Sparrow's back ... not in "Pirates of the Caribbean 6" necessarily -- but, Johnny Depp's resurrected the character to cheer up some kids going through a rough time.

The actor stopped by a children's hospital in San Sebastián, Spain ... dressed as his loveable pirate Captain Jack -- complete with the eyeliner, dreads and his slightly drunken walk.

Check out the video ... JD's got a cheerful hello for the doctors working hard at the locale -- appearing to drop the character later on to have a meaningful convo with some of the medical staff on-site.

Kids may say the darndest things, but sometimes they display an impressive understanding of today's political arena ... as proven in a new video making the rounds online.

CNN sat down with a group of 10 and 11-year-old kids from across the country, where they weighed in on the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. There were certainly some divisive opinions shared, especially when the children were asked to share their first thoughts about Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

Where one young girl from New Jersey described Trump as "pure evil," a boy from Texas felt Harris was a "liar" ... though, he still thought DT was more likely to do "bad things" given his status as a convicted felon.

Before this cutie pie in her batter's helmet was hitting home runs as an actress, comedian and producer ... she was named after her four siblings who all grew up in Philadelphia, and she was just absolutely obsessed with comedy!

Renowned voice actor David Graham, who is best known for voicing Grandpa Pig on the beloved children's series "Peppa Pig," has died ... a former colleague confirmed.

The X account for Gerry Anderson, the creator of "Thunderbirds" -- in which Graham voiced various characters for the British science fiction series and its spinoffs -- broke the sad news to fans on Friday.

The message read ... "We're incredibly sad to confirm the passing of the legendary David Graham. The voice [of] Parker, Gordon Tracy, Brains and so many more. David was always a wonderful friend to us here at Anderson Entertainment. We will miss you dearly, David. Our thoughts are with David's friends and family."

Carly Gregg, the 15-year-old girl accused of murdering her mother, is displaying some odd courtroom behavior ... getting a bad case of the giggles while sitting at the defense table.

Check it out ... the Mississippi teen was dressed in a conservative navy blue ensemble as her trial resumed Thursday. Her defense attorneys flanked her on both sides, donning serious expressions during the trial ... though, Carly seemed to get a kick out of the proceedings, as she fought back some laughter.

While it's unclear what exactly prompted Carly's giggles, the video shows her female lawyer writing something on a pad ... which appears to be what sparked the shocking response from the teen.

A 15-year-old Mississippi girl has been charged with murdering her mom -- and the events leading up to the fatal shooting were caught on camera -- as well as the victim's chilling screams mixed with gunfire.

Check out the footage ... which begins with Carly Gregg in a Nirvana shirt lurking around her house. At one point, Gregg peeked her head into the kitchen while holding something behind her back, later revealed to be a .357 Magnum handgun.

She then strolled out of frame into another part of the residence before several gunshots could be heard along with her mom, Ashley Smylie, yelling in pain.

Lauren Sanchez has a hot yoga instructor ... so hot she's suing the future Mrs. Bezos over her recently-released children's book.

Alanna Zabel claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, she was Lauren's yoga instructor from 2007-2010. Zabel says in 2022, she reached out to LS, sharing a book concept about a cat that flies to Mars. She says she contacted Lauren in part because they had previously discussed a partnership to write a children's book -- "Dharma Kitty Goes to Mars."

According to the suit, proceeds from the book would go to Bezos Earth Fund and Bezos Academy.
