Kansas City Chiefs star Bashaud Breeland -- who had an interception in Super Bowl LIV -- was just busted for weed possession, open container and resisting arrest, officials confirm.

28-year-old Breeland -- fresh off inking a new, $4.5 million deal to stay with the Chiefs this off-season -- was booked around 1:30 PM on Tuesday in Charlotte, NC.

According to the York County Sheriff's Office, Breeland is facing multiple charges -- resisting arrest, open alcohol container in motor vehicle, alcohol in motor vehicle with seal broken, possession of 28g or less of marijuana, and driving without a license.

The South Carolina native was booked into York County Jail, where he remains in custody, according to records.

Breeland was a 4th-round pick to the Washington Redskins after 3 seasons with Clemson ... playing 4 seasons in D.C. before a brief stint with the Green Bay Packers.

Breeland had a team-high 7 tackles and picked off Jimmy Garoppolo in the Super Bowl ... helping Kansas City win its first Super Bowl since 1969.

We've reached out to the Chiefs for comment ... so far, no word back.

Chiefs 1st-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire says he's ECSTATIC to play with Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City ... telling TMZ Sports he thinks the QB is a Hall of Famer!

We spoke with the LSU superstar just days after he was selected with the 32nd overall pick in the NFL draft ... and it didn't take long for him to tell us he's PUMPED over the idea of sharing a backfield with Mahomes.

In fact, Clyde says when he found out Patrick had advised Chiefs brass to pick him before their draft last week ... he became even more enamored with the QB.

"It made me feel like this was the right place to be," Edwards-Helaire says. "This is where God wanted me to be."

"And, ultimately. Man, MVP quarterback, soon to be Hall of Famer -- he's going to be a Hall of Famer, so for him to send my name in and want me to play with him, it made me feel a little special."

Clyde -- who's expected to have a huge role in the Chiefs' offense catching passes from Mahomes in 2020 -- added, "I'm still kind of amazed by the entire situation."

Chiefs Kingdom is getting yet another huge assist from the Honey Badger ... 'cause top free agent corner Chris Harris Jr. says Tyrann Mathieu's recruiting him HARD to Kansas City!!

"[He says] just come up there, man," Harris Jr. tells TMZ Sports. "Play with him, be able to do what I've done in the past -- play everywhere on the field, and also play with a great quarterback!"

Harris Jr. appears to be on his way out of Denver after spending the last 9 seasons in Mile High ... and he says he's hearing from a TON of teams interested in bringing him in when free agency kicks off later this month.

Specifically, CHJ tells us, Houston Texans players have been all over him ... and says Mathieu has also been in his ear about playing DB alongside him in K.C.

As for how the pitches are working ... Harris Jr. says he has ZERO inklings right now of where he'll end up next, telling us, "I really don't, bro. I really have no idea."

Harris Jr. says his plan for free agency will be to get his list of teams down to 10 or 5 by the end of this weekend ... and then make a decision on the first day of the new league year on March 18.

"I'm really just looking for the best situation," Harris Jr. says. "Of course, you want a team that's going to pay you and appreciate you, one, and then also how they're going to use me."

Travis Kelce says he CAN'T WAIT to celebrate his Super Bowl victory at the White House -- telling TMZ Sports he WILL join his KC Chiefs teammates when they meet President Trump.

"Oh, yeah! Always, man!" Kelce told us in NYC on Wednesday. "Crazy opportunity!"

Not everyone on the team feels the same way ... Chiefs stud defensive end Frank Clark told the Kansas City Star he's got "mixed emotions" about the White House trip.

"I know historically ... that’s something you do as a Super Bowl champion. But we’ll see, man. It’s a lot of mixed emotions about stuff going on there. We’ll see."

Head coach Andy Reid is a firm "yes" -- telling reporters at the Super Bowl, "I mean, I’ll be there. I'll be there. If they’re inviting us, I’ll be there. It’s quite an honor, I think."

Ditto for Tyreek Hill -- who said, "That would be great to go to the White House. I’ve never been to D.C., so that would be great."

Starting CB Bashaud Breeland just told us a few days ago he's pumped for the celebration as well.

As for Trump, earlier this month he told reported he's excited to host the Chiefs -- "Every one of them wants to be here. And the coach loves us. The coach is great. Andy Reid."

There's been a ton of controversy surrounding the White House visits over the past few years -- with several high profile players -- and even full teams -- boycotting the tradition.

The Golden State Warriors famously blew off Trump after winning the NBA title in 2017 and 2018 -- instead opting to celebrate with President Obama.

MLB stars like Mookie Betts and Nationals closer Sean Doolittle have also turned down White House invites.

We asked Kelce how the rest of his teammates are feeling about the visit ... but he told us he hasn't had the chance to speak with them yet.

Is Dez Bryant a future Kansas City Chief?!?!!

Seems like it could be a possibility ... 'cause the former All-Pro wide out ran routes for Patrick Mahomes on Friday -- and there seems to be chemistry there!!!

Of course, Dez hasn't played a down in the NFL since 2017 ... but he's been working like a mad man to get back, even telling TMZ Sports this month he's "for damn sure" returning to the league soon.

And, we gotta say ... in the clips of Dez and Mahomes, the former Dallas Cowboy superstar still looks like he has hit!!

It's unclear why the Super Bowl MVP decided to link up with Dez for the workout ... but Mahomes is from the Tyler, Texas area -- so it coulda been just two elite athletes getting some run in.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are still celebrating their Super Bowl win ... damn near 7 days after beating the 49ers in Miami.

Patty, Travis Kelce and a bunch of the guys from the team were down in Sin City over the weekend -- where they kept the party going in at last two different clubs on the strip. On Friday, the Chiefs players were at JEWEL Nightclub at the ARIA resort and casino.

Looks like they were the center of attention, and were in good company too. Girls were doing shoulder rides and waving around Chiefs signs and flags. Some of the other players who came out ... Damien Williams, Mecole Hardman, Blake Bell, Cam Erving and Austin Reiter.

On Saturday, the boys in red bounced on over to OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, where a Steve Aoki concert was being held. We got some footage from inside ... looks like the fellas were vibing and feeling themselves.

It's good to be the CHAMPS ... just ask Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs who all got the super-VIP treatment at the Post Malone concert.

Post -- a HUGE football fan -- invited the Super Bowl champs to his Kansas City show at the Sprint Center on Wednesday where the QB, TE and others players got a special roped-off section all to themselves.

And get this ... Malone -- a hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan -- even paid tribute to the Chiefs by rocking a Mahomes jersey on stage! You can see in the clip, Patrick LOVED it!

Before the show, Post invited the guys and their gals backstage for a private dance party and some beer pong action!!

The most impressive part ... the Chiefs had been drinking HARD since like 10 AM on Wednesday because of the Super Bowl parade in K.C. Mahomes and Kelce were pounding beers on the parade bus like it was water!!!

So, to keep it up for more than 12 straight hours ... man, that's good stuff.

Hopefully they can beat a hangover like they beat those 49ers!!

Chiefs WR Byron Pringle says now that he's a Super Bowl champ, he's the PERFECT candidate to be a rep for Pringles ... and he wants the chip co. to reach out to him ASAP!!

"Once you pop, you're never going to stop. You know?" Pringle tells TMZ Sports.

Of course, 26-year-old Byron's been angling for this sponsorship for YEARS ... he says dating back to high school, teammates and friends have constantly told him he NEEDS to be a rep for the canned chips because of his last name.

And, now that he's about to add some title bling to his finger ... he says he's ready to get into serious talks.

Pringle tells us his demands in the deal are pretty simple ... "some commercials" and "life-long Pringles chips, any flavor" are high on his list.

But, he also says vending machines at his former schools that dispense free Pringles to students would be a sweet add-in as well.

As for his pitch to Pringles and what he'd bring to the company moving forward ... he says he's got star potential on the gridiron.

"Every time I'm in, I'm always making a play," Byron says. "Doing my assignment in the play, for the play."

STOP THE PARADE .... Patrick Mahomes has to pee!!!!

The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade came to a screeching halt on Wednesday so the MVP could take an MVPee.

After the leak, Mahomes raced out of the porta-potty and high fived a bunch of the fans lined up along the parade route ... hoping, praying, guessing he washed his hands first!

Andy Reid says he's FOR SURE going to Donald Trump's White House to celebrate the Chiefs' Super Bowl win ... calling the trip "quite an honor."

The head coach was asked about the possible visit after KC's 31-20 win over the 49ers ... and Reid didn't mince words expressing his desire to make the trip with his team.

"I mean, I'll be there," Reid said. "If they're inviting us, I'll be there. It's quite an honor."

Of course, it's unclear how many members of Reid's team will make the visit with him ... White House celebrations for championships have become polarizing, to say the least.

Star players throughout various sports teams have skipped out on the invite over the past 3 years ... with SEVERAL key players from previous Super Bowls missing the trip.

In fact, whole teams like the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors have bypassed the visit altogether.

But others, like the LSU Tigers football team just a few weeks ago, have made the visit and have raved about it.

Peyton Manning and Antonio Brown were huge fans of the way Patrick Mahomes played on Sunday -- praising the QB on the way out of the game and we've got the video.

Manning was all smiles on the way out of Hard Rock Stadium while surrounded by several tough-lookin' police officers ... and told us Mahomes was "awesome."

He was also positive about 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo -- insisting we haven't seen the last of Jimmy G at the Super Bowl.

Antonio Brown was stoked about the game too ... we got him leaving Hard Rock Stadium in a sick Lamborghini ... and he talked about possibly playing with the Chiefs next season.

"I would love to go to the Chiefs," Brown told us ... "I'd love to play with Mahomes."

As for where Mahomes ranks on the NFL's top QB list -- "Behind Tom Brady, he's really up there!"

As we previously reported, Brown recently issued apologies to everyone he's wronged over the past few months ... from the Hollywood Police Dept. to the mother of his children.

The Chiefs lost their minds celebrating their Super Bowl win Sunday night ... with a locker room dance party and a team bus celebration for Andy Reid -- and the video of it all is amazing.

Ya gotta watch the clips of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on the team bus ... 'cause when coach Reid showed off the new Lombardi Trophy to the guys -- they lost their minds!!

Of course, it was all preceded by an amazing locker room celebration after Kansas City came back from being down 20-10, to beat the 49ers 31-20.

The scene was incredible ... there was a mosh pit dance circle ... star defensive lineman Chris Jones cutting a rug in the locker room -- and guys partying HARD!!

But, one of the best parts of the postgame? On the team bus to the nightclub celebration ... the dudes gave a hilarious rendition of "We Are The Champions!"

The party continued at the club ... where Mahomes was serenaded by hundreds of people chanting "M-V-P!"

The Chiefs ended up at LIV ... with Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, and more raged with celebs like Kanye West, Odell Beckham and Floyd Mayweather in attendance.

Forget the Hall of Fame ... Andy Reid will go down as a top 5 coach EVER with a win in the Super Bowl on Sunday -- so says his former player Tamba Hali.

"Getting this win obviously will make him one of the greatest coaches of all time," Hali says.

Think it's crazy??? The Chiefs legend might not be wrong ... Reid is already 6th all-time in regular-season wins with 210 -- and he's been to SEVEN conference title games as well.

But, the knock on Reid has always been he's never won a Super Bowl ... and if he's able to erase that against the 49ers, Hali says put him on the NFL's coaching Mt. Rushmore ASAP.

"I know the guys that came before him did some great things, but at least top five in all-time coaching," Hali says.

We also spoke with Hali about his ex-teammate Patrick Mahomes ... and the former KC pass rusher LOVES the guy.

Patrick Mahomes is getting a Super Bowl assist from Brett Favre ... who tells TMZ Sports he's already hooking up the Chiefs superstar QB with Big Game week advice!!!

So, what's the Packers legend's memo? Brett tells us it's simple -- ENJOY THE WEEK!!!
