NFL Star Brandon Flowers I 'HEAR' the Best Strip Clubs Are ...

Check this out ... TMZ Sports recently asked Kansas City Chiefs defensive stud Brandon Flowers to name his Top 3 favorite strip clubs in the country.

But since Brandon says strip clubs are "kind of frowned upon in the NFL," he agreed to tell us about the one he "hears" about the most instead.

So, here's Brandon's official Strip Club Breakdown:

1) Onyx in Atlanta -- "I heard that one's pretty good"

2) Tootsies in Miami -- "I heard Tootsies has the best lobster tail and rice on earth."

3) 11 in Miami -- "It's a new club that's supposed to be pretty good so I'm looking forward to 'hearing' about that one."

Brandon says he usually only "hears" about Florida strip clubs ... and says, "If anyone has any suggestions, please tweet me ... I'd love to 'hear' about it."

KC Chiefs Star Eric Berry 'I Threw a Tantrum' After Playoff Loss Then I Hit the Beach!

Nothing takes the sting out of a brutal playoff loss like week on the beach on the beach ... so says Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry, who tells us he went straight to the tropics after KC's devastating 1st round defeat to the Colts.

"I threw a tantrum for about a week then went to Hawaii with my loved ones," Berry says.

We're told the 25-year-old Pro Bowler took roughly 15 family members on the trip to help him get over the bitter end to the 2013 season.

But what really put him in a good mood is when he found out his little brothers (who happen to be twins) accepted football scholarships to the University of Tennessee ... where he and his father played their college ball.

"It's one of those feeling that's hard to translate into words. Just seeing the twins grow up into the young men they are makes the whole family proud."

He continued, "Pops always talks to us about doing something great, leaving our mark and creating a legacy. They're handling their end of it very well."

Chiefs QB Alex Smith Still Getting Screwed in SF Takes Massive Real Estate Loss

Chiefs QB Alex Smith is so desperate to put his 8 years in San Fran behind him ... he just slashed a cool $300K off the asking price on his CA mansion, TMZ Sports has learned.

Smith originally listed the 5,650 sq ft, Los Gatos home for $3.25 mil -- after getting traded to the Chiefs last year ... but now he's settling on $2.95 mil in a last ditch effort to unload the place.

The 4 bedroom, 4 bath crib includes a massive 1,200 sq ft master bedroom ... and sits on a shaded hilltop an hour south of soon-to-be demolished Candlestick Park.

Here's what's inside -- high vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and huge windows with amazing views. What's NOT inside? A Lombardi Trophy, cause y'know ...

Fun Fact: Our friends at Realtor.com tell us there are now two CA homes on the market owned by former No. 1 picks. Ex-Texans star David Carr is also trying to unload his Bakersfield mansion for $2.8 mil.

Ex-NFL Star Larry Johnson I'm a STRIP CLUB DJ Now!

Ex-Kansas City Chiefs superstar running back Larry Johnson no longer plays football ... but he DOES play strip clubs ... as a guest DJ ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple TMZ strip club sources ... yeah, we got those (a lot of those) ... tell us Johnson has been spotted manning the DJ booth at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami several times this year.

We're told Johnson isn't the main DJ -- but every now and then, he'll take over the booth for a quick guest set ... and the crowd loves it.

For the record, Tootsie's is HUGE with pro athletes ... like Aaron Hernandez who allegedly shot his friend in the face after patronizing the club back in February. Good times ...

We called the Cabaret for comment on the DJ situation -- but unlike their dancers, management was tight-lipped.

Jovan Belcher's Baby Custody Decided After NFL Player's Murder-Suicide

It's been 7 months since Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher murdered his girlfriend and then shot himself ... but now a judge has finally decided who will get custody of the NFL player's 9-month-old daughter.

A probate judge in Missouri has appointed Sophie D. Perkins as the legal guardian of Zoey Michelle Belcher. Perkins is Zoey's first cousin (once removed) on her mother's side.

Zoey's mother -- Kasandra Perkins-- was shot to death by Belcher on December 1st, 2012. Belcher then drove to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City ... where he killed himself.

Jovan's mother had tried to obtain custody of the child -- but the judge clearly felt Perkins was the better choice.

According to court docs, Zoey will inherit Jovan's estate -- which has been valued at $799,119.85. She's also reportedly set to receive at least $1,000,000 from the NFL ... plus $1.2 million from a life insurance policy.

Jovan Belcher's Coach Pled with NFL Player 'You're Taking the Easy Way Out'

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel begged Jovan Belcher to put down his handgun and not kill himself during a tense standoff on December 1st ... telling the player, "You're taking the easy way out."

The Kansas City PD just released new documents from the murder/suicide investigation ... in which witnesses describe the sad moments before the NFL linebacker shot himself in the head.

Belcher had driven to the Chiefs practice facility after shooting the mother of his child Kasandra Perkins at their home ... and, while carrying a handgun, had a conversation with Chiefs GM Scott Pioli in the parking lot.

According to witnesses, Belcher told Pioli ... "I'm sorry Scott, I've done a bad thing to my girlfriend already. I want to talk with Gibbs and Romeo."

He continued, "You know that I've been having some major problems at home and with my girlfriend. I need help! I wasn't able to get enough help. I appreciate everything you all have done for me with trying to help ... but it wasn't enough. I have hurt my girl already and I can't go back now."

According to witnesses, Crennel arrived to the parking lot and pled with Belcher to put the gun down ... saying, "You're taking the easy way out."

Crennel told cops Jovan briefly lowered the gun to chamber a round, then he blessed himself by making a cross sign on his chest ... and then he fired one shot into his head, killing himself.

During the investigation, witnesses -- including Crennel -- told police that Belcher and his girlfriend had been arguing about money.

In the report, cops say, "[Crennel] stated that he got the impression that Ms. Perkins wanted to live a better life and expected to live a better life because she was with an NFL player."

Crennel also told cops Jovan was "smart with his money and didn't live outside his means."

Then again, he was driving a Bentley on the day of the murder.

Jovan Belcher KC Chiefs Bankrolling Player's Funeral

The Kansas City Chiefs organization is paying for Jovan Belcher's funeral arrangements ... and has offered financial assistance to Kasandra Perkins' family as well ... TMZ has learned.

Sources directly involved with the situation tell us ... the Chiefs have made it clear they don't want either family to be stuck with the massive bills stemming from the funerals or memorial services.

We're told members of Belcher's family -- which now has custody of the couple's orphaned newborn baby -- graciously accepted the offer ... and the team will cover all of the costs of Belcher's memorial in KC and funeral in NY.

It's unclear if Perkins' family has accepted the offer as well.

When called for comment, a rep for the Chiefs told us, "We are assisting both families with arrangements ... We just prefer not to get into specifics of what we are doing or have done."

Calls to the Belcher and Perkins families have not been returned.

Jovan Belcher's mother frantically called 911 moments after the Kansas City Chiefs football player shot his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins multiple times Saturday morning ... pleading with the operator to send help ASAP while Jovan's newborn baby cried hysterically in the background.

During the call, Jovan's mother told the operator "Oh my God. Oh my God, Cassie ... The baby is crying ... get the ambulance here please!"

She continued "She is still breathing but barely. Please hurry. I don't know how many times he shot her. They were arguing."

The 911 operator asked if Kasandra was bleeding -- Belcher's mother replied, "Yes she is."

As for Belcher, he drove to the Kansas City Chiefs football facility at Arrowhead Stadium and shot himself in the head in front of team staff.

The baby is now in the custody of Belcher's mother.

Just one day after linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend and then himself, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Carolina Panthers, 27-21.

Brady Quinn threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and Jamaal Charles added 127 yards on the ground in the victory ... which is just the second of the season for the Chiefs.

Early Saturday morning, Belcher shot his girlfriend at their home, then drove to the team facility and thanked team personnel before he shot himself.

Belcher was 25.

KC Chiefs Player Kills GF, Self

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend early this morning, then drove to the team facility and committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager, this according to the Kansas City Police Department.

Police Capt. David Lindaman says that Belcher and his girlfriend -- who had just given birth to the couple's child three months earlier -- began arguing around 7:00 AM local time.

Lindaman says Belcher shot the woman multiple times and she was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police say Belcher left the scene and drove to the stadium where he was confronted by team personnel, including GM Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel. According to police, they tried to keep Belcher from committing additional acts of violence.

Just as police arrived on the scene, they heard a gunshot and discovered Belcher had shot himself in the head. Cops say before firing the shot, Belcher thanked Pioli and Crennel for all they had done for him.

The coaches told police they never felt as if they were in danger.

Belcher had been with the Chiefs for four seasons after being undrafted out of the University of Maine.

The Chiefs host the Carolina Panthers tomorrow and the game will be going forward as planned. A team spokesman says Crennel plans to coach.

Kansas City Chiefs Chairman & CEO Clark Hunt released a statement saying, "The entire Chiefs family is deeply saddened by today's events, and our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy, thoughts and prayers for the families and friends affected by this unthinkable tragedy. We sincerely appreciate the expressions of sympathy and support we have received from so many in the Kansas City and NFL communities, and ask for continued prayers for the loved ones of those impacted."

KC Chiefs Jovan Belcher Girlfriend's Family Never Saw Problems

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and girlfriend Kasandra Perkins were an extremely happy couple ... this according to Kasandra's family, who says news of the alleged murder/suicide this morning came as an "utter shock."

Members of Kasandra's family tell TMZ ... Jovan and Kasandra always seemed to be in love. In fact, we're told when Kasandra got pregnant, she and Jovan were "ecstatic." The family says ever since the baby was born in September, the two couldn't have seemed happier together.

The 22-year-old's family says they have NO IDEA why the relationship took a tragic turn this morning -- when Jovan allegedly shot and killed Kasandra before taking his own life -- and news of their deaths was both devastating and unexpected.

Jovan started playing with the Chiefs in 2009 -- and Kasandra, who is originally from Texas moved to Missouri to be with him.
