KC Chiefs rookie QB Patrick Mahomes has a rocket for an arm -- in fact, he once threw a baseball 96 MPH!!!

Mahomes was a baseball star in high school before focusing on football -- plus his father, Pat Mahomes, was an MLB pitcher for 12 years.

So, we asked if he could still fire the rock -- and he told us he really believes he could hit 100+ if he got back in the baseball groove.

For the record, Patrick once threw a football 62 mph -- on video.

If he says he can hit 100 mph with a baseball ... we kinda believe him.

Tony Gonzalez Training K.C. Chiefs TE Prodigy ... With Sly Stallone!

LEARNING FROM THE BEST

Tony Gonzalez is still giving back to the Chiefs -- training one of the team's young tight ends who's currently wearing TG's 88 jersey!!!

The future Hall of Famer rolled into Jay Glazer's Unbreakable gym in L.A. this week to train up Ross Travis -- a former Penn State basketball player who signed with K.C. in 2015 in the hopes his skills can translate to the football field.

Tony and Ross went over blocking techniques -- while Sylvester Stallone was right next to the guys doing his own training regimen.

By the way, Ross didn't do much on the field last season (playing behind stud Travis Kelce) but he killed it in locker room basketball trick shots.

K.C. Chiefs Tight End Arrested for Weed

K.C. Chiefs tight end Demetrius Harris was arrested for weed on Tuesday -- when a routine traffic stop in Missouri went very poorly.

The 25-year-old was a passenger in a car that was stopped by the Missouri State Highway Patrol around 4:22 PM ... and during the stop, officers suspected there was marijuana in the car.

Cops say they found more than 35 grams -- which is considered a felony in Missouri and carries serious penalties including 7 years in prison.

Look, 35 grams isn't a small amount of weed ... but it ain't exactly Snoop Dogg territory either.

He was booked for felony possession of weed and drug paraphernalia.

Story developing ...

Attention thirsty ladies, if you're looking for lovin' from NFL stud Travis Kelce ... you're gonna have to do it the old-fashioned way ... 'cause Kelce says his reality TV dating career is OVER for good.

We got Kelce out in Beverly Hills and wanted to know two things from the stud pass catcher ... did he actually find love on the first season of "Catching Kelce," and if not, will he try again another season?

Travis says that's gonna be a negative on both ... telling our guy he doesn't think the whole "reality TV thing" is for him.

BTW -- we also ask who he thinks has more game out of him and Gronk, and Travis actually answers.

DON'T MESS IT UP
TMZSports.com

Ex-KC Chiefs running back Larry Johnson says he knows what Tyreek Hill is going through as a guy with off-the-field legal issues ... but tells TMZ Sports he wants Hill to learn from his mistakes.

"I've lived through the same thing he's lived through," Johnson tells us ... "I just ran my second chances dry."

Of course, Johnson was a beast on the field -- but he was arrested multiple times during his career for incidents that included alleged violent run-ins with women.

As for Hill, he got in trouble before his NFL career began -- when he pleaded guilty to domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend in 2015.

Johnson has advice for Hill moving forward, which essentially boils down to this -- don't squander your 2nd chance.

Mark Wahlberg Rooting for the Chiefs?? Yeah.

LOOKING THROUGH HOUSTON
TMZSports.com

New England Patriots superfan Mark Wahlberg says he'll be cheering on Alex Smith and the rest of the KC Chiefs this weekend ... and why?

We're guessing he thinks they're an easier path to the Super Bowl than the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Of course, Mark's first love is Tom Brady and Co. ... and he knows the priority is beating the Houston Texans (easy, right?) -- but who do you want in the AFC Championship? Pittsburgh or K.C.?

For the record, New England already BEAT the Steelers this year -- so, what's the big concern?

ALL OUT BRAWL
ForFriedom

Who has the energy to fight in freezing cold temperatures?

Raiders and Chiefs fans.

That's who.

A bunch of rival fans started brawling in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City Thursday night -- with people getting thrown down the bleachers ... it's gnarly.

Eventually cops responded and broke the whole thing up ... but not before some of the pugilists took some heavy shots to the face.

No word if any arrests were made. We're working on it.

Travis Kelce Rocks $2,700 Chiefs Themed Suit For Dating Show Premiere

What do you wear when you're star NFL player Travis Kelce and you're dating 50 of the hottest chicks in America? A custom suit with your FACE on it, of course!!

That's exactly what the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end donned during the premiere of his dating show ... "Catching Kelce" on E!

Kelce hit up Ge Wang at ESQ Clothing ... and ordered an English velvet tuxedo in the Chiefs' red and gold colors. And it wasn't cheap ... setting him back $2,750!!

The coolest part? The image of Kelce printed on silk on the lining of the jacket.

"From a style perspective, he’s a fun-going guy," Wang tells us, "We weren’t interested in going with the business usual charcoal or navy.”

Wang's made "5 or 6" suits for Kelce ... so there's a good chance we'll see more of his work on future episodes.

But, how do ya top this?

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
TMZSports.com

Travis Kelce says he's REALLY dating one of the women he met on his reality dating show -- but had to weed out the fame-hungry thots before he could find his special lady.

The KC Chiefs tight end just finished taping "Catching Kelce" -- where 50 chicks from 50 states competed for his love, affection and NFL salary (kidding on the last one, maybe).

The shocking part ... Travis says he found a real-life KEEPER ... and he's still dating her right now (even though the cameras stopped rolling).

Now for the real challenge -- the show starts in October ... can they stay together (and keep it a secret) until the show airs???

Tony Gonzalez Jock Blocks Travis Kelce Dating Show 'Doesn't He Have A Girlfriend?'

File This Under: Really, Bro?

Tony Gonzalez might have just ruined Travis Kelce's chances to bang thirsty reality show chicks ... by uttering the words no dude on a dating show wants to hear ... "doesn't he have a girlfriend?"

Gonzalez was out enjoying the Super Bowl 50 festivities when we asked him his thoughts on his buddy -- Chiefs TE Travis Kelce -- getting his own dating reality show on E!.

It's a pretty big deal ... the show "Catching Kelce" will document the young stud as he invites 50 women from all 50 states to take their shot with the Pro Bowler ... and we're told that some of the women have yet to be cast.

The guys out there won't believe this clip ... Gonzalez OBLITERATES the bro code ... inadvertently diming out his pal, and seriously making us wonder if he's ever been anyone's wingman.

BTW, it's unclear if Kelce actually does have a GF ... but we're sure of one thing ... WTF TONY!?

Casio to Andy Reid We Can Help with Clock Management!

Andy Reid could finally get some help in the clock management department -- lord knows he needs it after last week's debacle -- and it's all thanks to one of the most famous watchmakers in the world.

The KC Chiefs coach has been under fire since the Patriots game for taking FOREVER to move the ball in the final 6 minutes of the game ... even though they were down by 14 points.

Now, a rep for Casio tells us they want to help.

"We, at Casio, couldn't help but notice how crucial time management is during the intense fourth quarter of a NFL playoff game, and with that said we would like to offer you our brand new G-SHOCK GA201RD-4A timepiece."

"We feel the stopwatch feature, countdown timer and digital watch face will be extremely beneficial for you and your staff during practices and games."

We would love to assist the Chiefs anyway we can for the 2016 season and we hope you take us up on our offer."

Dude, take the offer.

Chiefs QB Aaron Murray The Wedding Is Off!!! Hot Reporter 'Moving On'

Stick a fork in 'em, 'cause the engagement between KC Chiefs QB Aaron Murray and smokin' hot news reporter Kacie McDonnell is over ... and it doesn't sound like there's any chance of a reconciliation.

Their love story became national news ... when she left her job (a great job) as a reporter in Philadelphia last year and moved to KC to be with Aaron who was drafted by the Chiefs.

Kacie got a job in news in Kansas City and everything seemed to be perfect ... until McDonnell made this shocking announcement:

"I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best, it’s best to part ways. I’m moving on with my life."

FYI -- Aaron's brother is Josh Murray who just broke off his engagement to former "Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman earlier this month.

Happy almost Valentine's Day everyone!

KC Star Eric Berry Diagnosed With Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, which his doctors have described as "very treatable and potentially curable" through chemotherapy.

Dr. Christopher Flowers, a lymphoma specialist at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, said in a statement, "The goal of Mr. Berry's treatment is to cure his lymphoma and we are beginning that treatment now."

Berry said through a statement, "My family and I are very grateful for the amount of support we have received over the last couple of weeks. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all the words of encouragement, the blessings and well wishes."

He continued, "I will embrace this process and attack it the same way I do everything else in life. God has more than prepared me for it. For everyone sharing similar struggles, I’m praying for you and keep fighting!"

KC Chiefs Star Eric Berry Team Doctors Believe He Has Lymphoma

Kansas City Chiefs star safety Eric Berry has been placed on the non-football injury list after doctors discovered a mass on the right side of his chest ... which they believe to be lymphoma.

Berry is expected to go to Emory University hospital for further evaluation.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said of the situation, "Right now, he needs to be a beast. He'll attack this."

Berry released a statement, saying, "I am truly thankful for all of the support from family, friends, coaches, teammates and the entire Chiefs kingdom. At first I was in shock with the diagnosis on Saturday and did not even want to miss a game, but I understand that right now I have to concentrate on a new opponent."

He added, "I know my coaches and teammates will hold things down here the rest of the season and until I am back running out of the tunnel at Arrowhead. I am so thankful and appreciative of being a part of this franchise and playing in front of the best fans in the NFL. I will be back!"

Tony Gonzalez I DON'T WANNA COACH 'Waste Of My Time'

0-4v5qs0bw

Bill Cowher did it. So did Herm Edwards and Jim Harbaugh ... but Tony Gonzalez says there's NO CHANCE he's gonna join that gang as the next NFL player-turned-coach.

The future Hall of Famer -- who still gets calls from NFL teams to come back and play -- arrived at LAX yesterday when we asked if he had gotten any calls to COACH as well.

Tony's response is classic ... and he makes it clear his future's on a set or in the broadcast booth -- not on the sidelines.
