NFL Star Julius Thomas I Could Survive 'Naked And Afraid' ... For 3 Days
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas is a tough guy -- but could he survive in the wild if was forced to go on that show "Naked & Afraid?"
The NFL stud says he THINKS he hang on the survivalist show for about 3 days -- but then he'd be toast.
FYI -- "Naked And Afraid" is basically a nude version of "Survivor" where contestants are dropped in the middle of nowhere and left to fend for themselves ... without a stitch of clothing on.
Check out the clip -- Julius doesn't seem to think that his NFL toughness would come into play out in the wilderness ... saying he'd be out of the competition before you can say "chaffed balls."

Jaguars Lineman: Lady Ref Is A Publicity Stunt ... Just Like Michael Sam
Jacksonville Jaguars lineman Sen'Derrick Marks strongly believes ... the NFL's move to hire the league's 1st female ref is more about publicity than talent ... and compares her to Michael Sam.
According to multiple reports, the NFL has hired Sarah Thomas -- a pioneer in women's officiating -- to be the first female line judge in league history.
The move has drawn widespread praise from most ... but Marks says Thomas' hiring is less about progress and more about a league desperate for positive stories.
"For women, it's great," Marks says ... "Ain't nothing wrong with it, especially as long as she knows what she's doing."
However, Marks adds ... "It's just like the Michael Sam situation -- if he wasn't gay, he would've gone undrafted. Instead the league drafts him because I think they are trying to monopolize on every aspect of the world ... the same thing with hiring a female ref."
"For the league it's great publicity. The NFL is all about monopolizing every opportunity."
No matter what the reason, it seems Thomas has finally cracked the boy's club -- and Marks says now that she's in, he's rooting for her to succeed.
"I hope it works out for her."
Jaguars Star Marcedes Lewis AGAINST NFL N-WORD BAN 'Sometimes Things Come Out'
Jacksonville Jaguars star Marcedes Lewis says the NFL's proposed n-word ban is a BAD IDEA ... telling TMZ Sports, "These games are intense, sometimes things come out."
The league acknowledges that it's discussed enacting a rule that would penalize any player caught using the word on the field ... and Lewis says at first, he was into the idea.
"Initially, I thought [the rule] was the right thing to do -- but I've changed my mind. These games are intense ... sometimes things come out."
NFL Vet LaVar Arrington Hair Pulling's a Bitch Move
Fun Fact: In the NFL, it's perfectly LEGAL to tackle an opposing player by the hair if it's hanging out of the helmet.
Funner Fact: Players who pull hair deserve to get their ASSES KICKED because they've made things "personal" ... so says LaVar Arrington.
The former NFL defensive stud -- who has some luscious dreadlocks of his own -- says there's an unspoken code among players regarding the "mane" ... and violators NEED to be dealt with.
Of course, Arrington must REALLY hate guys like Jason Babin (JAX) ... who ripped Andre Ellington's (ARIZ) dreadlocks out of his skull during a game earlier this season ... and then displayed it to the crowd like a trophy.
No, LaVar doesn't like that one bit ...

Maurice Jones Drew I've Dropped 15 Pounds I'm Ready to Kill It Next Season
Maurice Jones Drew is winning the battle of the bulge ... 'cause the Jacksonville Jaguars running back tells TMZ Sports he's dropped 15 POUNDS in the past 2 weeks ... and plans to keep it off.
A slimmer, trimmer MJD was out in NYC last night ... and told us why he deserves to be back in the running for top fantasy football RB next season -- and a lot of it has to do with this physique.
Maurice acknowledged that his 2013 season rubbed a lot of fantasy owners the wrong way ... but says, "It's a brand new off-season. Started working out ... I've lost 15 pounds in the last 2 weeks."
You can already see the difference -- it was just last May that MJD was out partying in Florida while smuggling what appeared to be a spare tire under his tank top.
Take THAT, Jenny Craig!
Tim Tebow Unemployed In Hawaii
With his NFL career seemingly over, former pro quarterback Tim Tebow hit the beach in Hawaii this weekend ... without his shirt.
Tebow was spotted being oiled up by a woman ... but fear not, his virginity is safe -- the woman is his sister Katie.
There was a buzz that Tebow had a shot with the pathetic Jacksonville Jaguars, but when we asked Jags owner Shahid Kahn about it last week, the guy just laughed it off.
So now, Tebow is focusing on more important things ... his tan.

Jacksonville Jags Owner Tebow Can't Save Our Team ... By Himself
Everyone knows the Jacksonville Jaguars SUUUCK ... including owner Shahid Khan, who scoffed at the idea of signing Tim Tebow ... and told us his team needs A WHOLE LOT of good players.
Khan -- one of the richest men in America -- was leaving the Ritz-Carlton in Washington D.C. yesterday when we asked him if he would consider adding Tebow to his pathetic roster.
Khan's response -- laughter -- followed by, "Ah, we need a lot of good players, OK."
Then, something even more shocking happened -- SHAHID GRABBED A NEWSPAPER.
Apparently, those things still exist.

Maurice Jones-Drew NO CHARGES in Alleged Bar Attack
NFL superstar Maurice Jones-Drew will NOT be charged with battery for allegedly socking a security guard in the face during a bar fight in Florida last month ... TMZ has learned.
The State Attorney's Office in Florida announced ... they do not believe they have enough evidence to prove the Jacksonville Jaguars running back committed a crime during the May 26 incident at the Conch House in St. Augustine, FL.
"Based on the evidence, the evidence does not support the charge," a rep for the SA tells TMZ.
We broke the story ... a security guard told police MJD suckerpunched him during a melee ... causing serious damage to his face. Cops initially identified MJD as a person of interest.
We know the alleged incident was captured on tape ... but clearly, prosecutors didn't feel the footage proved MJD's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
No word if the security guard plans to go after MJD in civil court.

Cops: We Screwed Up Maurice Jones-Drew Hasn't Been Charged ... Yet
The St. Augustine PD is doing some hardcore backpedaling ... admitting they ACCIDENTALLY told the media Maurice Jones-Drew was charged with battery, when in fact, he hasn't been charged with anything ... yet.
Earlier today, the S.A.P.D. issued a statement to the media ... which stated very clearly, "The [S.A.P.D.] has filed charges of misdemeanor battery against Jacksonville Jaguars player Maurice Jones-Drew that stemmed from an altercation at the Conch House 'Reggae Sundays.'"
Now, a rep for the S.A.P.D. tells TMZ ... they screwed up and "misrepresented" the situation.
According to cops ... no charges have been filed against Jones-Drew, however, he IS being investigated for allegedly punching a security guard in the face ... and is a "person of interest."
Cops say Jones-Drew and his attorney are being cooperative with the investigation. After the investigation is complete, we're told the case will be sent to the State Attorney's Office, which will determine if charges will be filed.

As for MJD's weight -- he's been rehabbing from a foot injury that ended his 2012 season early ... and it seems he's not exactly down to his usual playing shape ... yet.

After the incident, the security guard spoke with police -- and cops noted that the guy's jaw was "swollen a great deal and had a large lump on his jaw bone."
The security guard was hospitalized after the incident -- and doctors found contusions and a bone bruise, but no broken bones.
We reached out to MJD's people for comment -- so far, no word back.

Maurice Jones-Drew Wheeling His Way Around New Orleans
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew missed most of the season with a fractured foot, but he didn't let that stop him from partying in New Orleans last night ... on a scooter.
MJD underwent surgery last month after only playing in five games this season. He wasn't about to let the injury make him miss the Super Bowl, where we spotted him all dressed up and wheeling his way around town.
The three-time All-Pro is no stranger to partying on wheels ... we spotted him out in Hollywood last month doing the same thing.
Can't keep a good man down.

Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis I Don't Want Tim Tebow on My Team!
The Jacksonville Jaguars only won two games last season and are in DESPERATE need of help at quarterback, but tight end Marcedes Lewis wants no part of Tim Tebow.
Tebow's future with the New York Jets is tenuous at best and most experts think the team will send him packing this offseason.
And while the GM of the Jags has already come out and said he doesn't see Tebow joining his hometown team, Lewis hammered the point home last night in Hollywood ... telling our photog, "We need a guy that's going to put us over the hump right now. Not a project."
Might time for Tim to brush up on his typing skills.

Maurice Jones-Drew I Still Can't Walk ... But I Can SCOOTER!
It's been roughly 6 weeks since Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew had surgery to fix his busted foot ... but last night, the dude was back in public and rollin' around Hollywood ... literally.
MJD hit up Supperclub in L.A. last night ... with the help of a modified scooter to keep the pressure off his left foot.
FYI -- Maurice injured his foot back in October, but for some unexplained reason, waited until the end of December to go under the knife. Neither Jones nor the Jags have revealed any specifics about the injury.
MJD definitely isn't the first athlete to hit the Hollywood club scene while sportin' a delicate injury -- L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp took his busted shoulder out to Supperclub just 4 days after rotator cuff surgery.
It might be risky to take a busted body part to a nightclub ... where drunk people and crowds could easily bump into you ... but it's not like he has to get back on the field anytime soon.

Tim Tebow Lands in Arizona Training at Junior College
After getting screwed in New York, Tim Tebow has touched down in the Grand Canyon State ... and spent his Monday training for hours at an Arizona community college ... and TMZ has the proof.
We obtained pics of Tebow working out with a personal trainer on the track at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix.
Sources at the scene tell us ... Tebow trained for about 2-and-a-half hours ... running sprints and drills like he's actually gonna see the field next season.
We're told Tebow wasn't exactly incognito ... several kids and adult fans approached him for pics and autographs ... and, per usual, TT obliged with a smile.
There are rumors that Tebow will be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars during the off-season ... but it's possible the Arizona Cardinals could also bite ... it's not like they could get any worse.
Right?
