DON LEMON BACKS ELON MUSK'S ISRAEL VISIT ... 'PR Move Or Not, I Think It's Really Smart!'

Don Lemon is backing Elon Musk's trip to Israel ... after the tech mogul touched down in the Middle East Monday to survey the destruction left behind by Hamas.
The ex-CNN host landed at LAX Monday, telling us it's possible the billionaire's trip could be seen as damage control after he was accused of being antisemitic. However, Lemon believes Elon will still learn something worthwhile -- PR move or not.
In case you missed it, Elon wrote on X there was "truth" in a post that suggested Jews hate white people ... obviously getting a ton of heat in the process.
Don believes the more Elon sees during his trip, the better ... including the damage inflicted by Israel in Gaza -- only warning he should only visit if it's safe to do so.
While Elon is a divisive figure, Don notes his contributions to electric vehicles and space industries have made him influential in world history -- so naturally, it should be a good thing for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to show him around his country.
Government officials joined Elon during a tour of the wreckage of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack in one of the targeted villages that day.
EM's trip comes during a brief window of opportunity, with Israel and Hamas agreeing to a temporary ceasefire as they negotiate the release of hostages and the delivery of aid to Gaza.

Elon Musk Surveys Hamas Fallout in Israel ... Amid Antisemitism Claims
Elon Musk is in Israel right now and seeing the destruction left behind by Hamas with his own two eyes -- and it seems like he's doing this to combat accusations of antisemitism.
The techie billionaire touched down in the Middle East Monday, where he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other government officials as they toured the wreckage of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack in one of the targeted villages that day.
Musk was taken to a specific home in this village -- known as a kibbutz there in Israel -- and it's said to be where a 4-year-old American-Israeli girl was taken hostage by Hamas.
As EM was being shown the aftermath -- burned homes and destroyed buildings/roads -- a baby's crib was displayed with bullet shell casings inside ... which his translator/guide says came from weapons used to fend off the attackers and to protect the Israeli citizens.
Elon took it all in and listened attentively -- even snapping some photos as they passed all the wreckage throughout this particular kibbutz. While it was most certainly a somber and serious moment ... some couldn't help but notice something peculiar about his appearance.
Of course, we're referring to the fact that Elon was wearing a bulletproof vest -- as was everyone else in the group ... but his looked rather small on him, almost humorously so.
It goes without saying ... this visit is no laughing matter, especially for Elon -- who's under fire for what was a recent embrace of an antisemitic tweet ... not to mention a report alleging pro-Nazi content was appearing alongside mainstream advertisements on X.
Elon has pushed back on that latter claim -- and even went to court over it -- but in general ... he's fending off accusations of antisemitism on his platform, and it appears he's trying to quell all that by showing face in Israel. As he wrote, "Actions speak louder than words."
This window for something like this is brief ... as Israel and Hamas have agreed to a temporary ceasefire as they negotiate the release of hostages and the delivery of aid to Gaza.

Burlington, VT Suspected Arrested ... In Possible Hate Crime Shooting of 3 Palestinians
update
9:45 AM PT -- The suspect accused of shooting three Palestinian men has pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted murder in the second degree.
Police released a booking photo of Jason Eaton. He's being held without bail.
A Vermont man is now in custody after cops claim he shot 3 Palestinian college students in what might be a possible hate crime ... this as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
48-year-old Jason Eaton was arrested Sunday near Burlington ... the site of the Saturday night shooting when 3 young men of Palestinian descent were fired upon on the street as they were walking and speaking Arabic and heading to a family dinner.
They've since been identified as Hisham Awartani, Tahseen Ahmad and Kinnan Abdalhamid ... all of whom attend different universities in New England, including Brown.
At least 2 of them were also wearing traditional Keffiyeh scarves ... a garment often worn in Muslim countries. Because of this and the fact they were seemingly attacked without provocation, U.S. officials are saying this might be a hate crime, and the feds are investigating whether that's the case or not.
As for Eaton ... it's unclear what charges, exactly, he's facing at this point -- but he's due to be arraigned Monday. When announcing his arrest, law enforcement cited "three incidents of aggravated assault."
He's said to be a local resident of the area, and reportedly doesn't live far from the shooting.

GUERRA ISRAEL-HAMÁS INTERCAMBIO DE PRISIONEROS Video Muestra A Rehenes Despidiéndose
Israel-Hamas War Second Prison Swap Video Shows Hostages Waving Goodbye
More hostages were released by Hamas Saturday night, this after the prisoner swap almost fell apart.
A total of 13 Israelis and 4 Thai nationals were driven across the border into Israel, after a seemingly endless delay. Hamas accused Israel of breaking terms of the cease-fire deal, and numerous countries, including the U.S., stepped in to revive it
In the video released by Hamas, you see hostages waving goodbye to the people who held them since October 7. It's unclear if they waved out of free will, or not.
This is the second hostage swap since the cease-fire took hold, and more hostages are expected to be released today. So far, no Americans held hostage have been released.
As part of the second swap, 39 Palestinians were also released by Israel.
In all, 50 hostages are expected to be released, and 150 Palestinian prisoners will be freed from Israel as part of the swap.
Hamas took around 240 hostages during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack.

President Biden Heckled by Pro-Palestine Crowd ... During Nantucket Getaway
If President Biden thought he could escape the Israel-Palestine noise for the holiday weekend, he was wrong -- 'cause he was met with furious pro-Palestine protesters in New England, but didn't pay them any mind.
Joe was out and about with the rest of the First Family in Nantucket, MA Friday ... just a day after Thanksgiving, where he and the Biden gang were strolling around out in public -- with a crap ton of Secret Service agents all around.

— Jeff Mason (@jeffmason1) November 24, 2023 @jeffmason1
There were some regular folks who stood by and said hi to POTUS ... but just across the street was a different reception to his presence -- namely, angry/rambunctious demonstrators.
Check out the video to see what exactly they were shouting from a distance -- it was a lot of the same stuff we've heard echoed in protests all over the country since this whole conflict kicked off anew ... claims of genocide, and calls to "Free Palestine."
Protestors at a Christmas tree lighting in Nantucket chant and accuse Biden of “genocide.” pic.twitter.com/qXmcoYvNgO
— Jeff Mason (@jeffmason1) November 24, 2023 @jeffmason1
These protests here in Nantucket seem to have dragged on well into the evening too ... but like we said, JB straight up ignored them and pretended like he didn't hear them at all.
Interestingly, Joe's catching heat from both sides right now -- not only are liberals on the left slamming him and his administration for being what they consider too easy on Israel amid their ground operation in Gaza ... but conservatives are pissed over the latest hostage news.
You might've heard ... about 25 hostages were released from Hamas control over the past 48 hours or so, but in that first batch -- none of those people were Americans, a handful of which were captured in the initial Oct. 7 terrorist attack.
There are reports of more hostages being released Saturday, but unclear if any of them are American at this point. And if they aren't, you can expect more outcry against Joe and co.
There's been a pause in the fighting for now ... something a lot of people have been calling for for weeks. The conflict is far from over though -- and there's sure to be more updates.

Jenna Ortega 'Likes' Barrera Palestine Post ... Amid Sudden 'Scream' Exit
Jenna Ortega apparently liked a post reporting on Melissa Barrera doubling down on her pro-Palestine stance amid her recent firing -- that is, if these screenshots are to be believed.
Here's the deal ... in the days since news broke that Jenna was also exiting the 'Scream' franchise -- this amid Melissa's tumultuous firing over her Palestine rhetoric -- there's been a lot of speculation that JO actually sides with her costar, but distanced herself publicly.
That hunch was only further fueled when fans noticed that Jenna recently seemed to like an IG post from an account documenting celeb activity on Palestine ... which recapped MB defending her position post-firing ... news to which Jenna supposedly hit the like button.
Of course, if you go to this same IG page now ... Jenna's alleged "like" is nowhere to be found, and her own Insta page is also *mostly* free of any Palestine content -- as is her Twitter account, which has been deactivated. Old alleged tweets of hers, though, have been circulating ... and people are claiming she used to post pro-Palestine sentiments as well.
In other words, if Jenna did in fact like this IG post ... it would appear she's quietly cosigning Melissa's stance ... something just about everyone assumed was the case seeing how quickly she bowed out of "Scream VII" upon Melissa's ousting -- despite reports suggesting JO leaving had nothing to do with MB, and was more so due to scheduling conflicts.
Frankly, nobody buys that ... and depending on where you land on this issue, you're either celebrating Jenna or slamming her. In any case, the 'Scream' franchise is kinda screwed now.
Fact is ... Jenna and Melissa (but mostly Jenna) were far and away the biggest stars of the rebooted movies, and the whole story arc revolves around them. With both of them gone, there's only Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown left from the new OG cast.
They're cool and all, but they're mostly afterthoughts ... and their characters carrying on the saga doesn't really make sense without MB and JO. So, on paper, it would seem the "Scream 7" writers might have to go in a completely different direction with completely new actors, etc. Plus, fans are promising to boycott this latest sequel if/when it comes out ... so there's likely to be an uphill battle in drumming up interest/making the studio big bucks.
The last two installments have been absolutely successful in turning a profit (and then some) -- but without the 2 fan fave stars in the driver's seat, the question remains ... is Ghostface, alone, enough to get asses in seats? Time will tell, we suppose. 😱

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Pro-Palestine Protest Chaos ... Demonstrators Disrupt It
A famous Thanksgiving parade in New York City turned into a pro-Palestine demonstration ... with protestors disrupting the route and causing chaos before getting booted.
Groups of demonstrators glued their hands to 6th Avenue as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was coming through ... forcing NYPD to redirect floats and balloons.
The protestors, dressing in white jumpsuits drenched in fake blood, protested against "capitalism" and "genocide" in the Middle East ... chanting "Free Palestine."
Crowds tried drowning out the demonstrations with boos ... and cops ended up removing protestors from the parade route ... but not without delays.
Other demonstrators busted out a huge banner reading "Genocide Then. Genocide Now" as they protested in front of a McDonald's float.
NYPD tells TMZ ... several protestors were taken into custody.
As you know, tensions are high in the Big Apple in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war ... with Susan Sarandon attending a pro-Palestine protest and getting dropped from her Hollywood talent agency for her controversial speech.
Sarandon said Jewish people in America living in fear of antisemitism since the Hamas terror attacks last month are finding out what it feels like to be Muslim in America.
Ultimately, the demonstrations didn't stop the Thanksgiving parade from chugging along ... but not without some drama.

Melissa Barrera 'Scream' Firing Response ... I Won't Be Silent On Israel-Hamas War!!!
Melissa Barrera says her firing from the 'Scream' franchise won't silence her ... and she says she's not antisemitic.
The actress responded to her "Scream 7" ouster with a statement on her Instagram story, explaining why she's been so vocal about the war in the Middle East.
Of course, it was Melissa's IG stories that got her booted from the movie in the first place ... after the production company behind "Scream 7" deemed her comments hate-inciting and antisemitic.
In response, Melissa says ... "Silence is not an option for me."
She starts out by condemning antisemitism and Islamaphobia ... and speaks out against hate and prejudice against all people.
Melissa says her Mexican heritage makes her feel a responsibility to use her platform to "raise awareness about issues I care about and to lend my voice to those in need."
She adds ... "I believe a group of people are NOT their leadership, and that no governing body should be above criticism."
Remember ... Melissa got fired from "Scream 7" for her posts about Israel and Palestine, including one where she seemingly alluded to a long-standing trope about Jewish people controlling the media. In another post, Melissa compared Gaza to a concentration camp.
Spyglass Media Group, the production company behind her firing, says it showed her the door because ... "We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech."
Melissa says she wasn't being antisemitic ... and it sounds like she won't sit back and shut up now that she's lost a lucrative movie role over her views.
