Bob Van Dillen who is down in Georgia covering Hurricane Helene -- joined "Fox & Friends" Friday morning for a live report on the floods currently plaguing Atlanta.

During the appearance, the 'F&F' team played a clip from earlier this morning ... showing BVD wading through water up to his chest with a woman on his back and emerging on stable ground.

Hurricane Helene clobbered the Southeast coast of the United States with heavy winds and pouring rain Thursday night, leaving at least 4 people dead.

The Category 4 storm — which weather experts say causes catastrophic damage — first hit northwestern Florida carrying with it 140-mile-per-hour gusts that impacted the area around the Aucilla River in the Big Bend region of the state's Gulf Coast.

What appears to be a wolf-dog hybrid has been discovered wandering around the woods of northern Minnesota ... and experts can't make heads or tails of the mysterious beast!

The wild find occurred after the Voyageurs Wolf Project -- a University of Minnesota research group -- captured footage of the animal, which looks super cool, roaming around a trail.

And now, a debate has ensued as to what exactly this apparent wolf-pooch might be ... and how the heck this happened!
