Business tycoon Kirk Kerkorian -- the billionaire behind Las Vegas casinos, Hollywood's MGM Studio, and Chrysler ... has died at the age of 98.

Kerkorian died in Los Angeles on Monday after a brief illness.

He's most famous for making Vegas what it is today -- as the founder of MGM Resorts his company went on to purchase more than half of the rooms on the Strip by swallowing up competitors like Mirage Resorts and Mandalay Resorts.

A major notch in his belt -- he's responsible for luring Elvis Presley and Barbra Streisand to perform in Vegas.

Kerkorian bought and sold MGM Studios multiple times. He made major bank off his purchase of the James Bond franchise, and merging United Artists with MGM.

He's also famous for his 2001 divorce from his wife of one month, Lisa Bonder. She wanted $320,000 a month in alimony and child support. He eventually paid her $10 million plus $100k/month in child support ... even though he turned out to not be the father!

Karrueche was leaving 1OAK in West Hollywood when she bristled at the notion that Chris Brown scared her away from posting pics of herself with other guys. You'll recall, Brown threatened Tyson Beckford a week ago after she posted a pic of the 2 of them in Vegas. Chris later apologized.

Get this ... last night Chris and Tyson showed up at the same place -- the iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party in Vegas. Unclear if they interacted, but no one left bloodied.

UFC champ Chris Weidman mixed fun with mixed martial arts this weekend, mugging with Floyd Mayweather at a Vegas pool after his title victory.

Chris didn't look the worse for wear after his 1st round submission against Victor Belfort at UFC 187. The sunglasses are pretty big and could be hiding a bruise or 2, but Weidman took care of business pretty quickly so probably not.

The 2 champs chilled at the pool at The Palms, where Weidman was hosting a post-fight event.

Chris Brown will be allowed back in the Vegas hotel where he brawled during a basketball game ... but there are serious strings attached.

Brown wants to spend part of the Memorial Day weekend at The Palms, but the hotel has reservations.

You'll recall during the Mayweather/Pacquaio fight weekend Chris had a ridiculous suite at The Palms, which had its own basketball court and at around 3 AM he allegedly attacked an opponent. Police investigated but no charges were filed.

The Palms management is agreeable to allowing Chris back, but now there are rules. For starters, he is not allowed to throw parties in the suite without pre-approval from hotel honchos. The rule doesn't apply if he has fewer than 15 guests.

But there's more. No outside food or alcohol, which sounds more than a money-maker for the hotel than a real rule.

Chris will be tested, because Karrueche is booked at the same hotel Saturday night, and this will be the first time they've seen each other since their breakup.

Wiz Khalifa just wanted to get turnt up in Vegas for this Memorial Day weekend but there's a big wrinkle ... baby mama Amber Rose.

We’re told Wiz just found out his estranged wife has booked a suite at the Palms Casino Resort, the same place he's staying. He's contacted the hotel and insisted that he's not on her floor. Wiz has made it clear ... he does not want Amber in his line of sight during the long weekend.

It's gonna be complicated, because Amber's hosting a pool party the same day Wiz debuts at club Rain as DJ Daddy Kat.

Here's what's apparent ... bad blood in Vegas won't stay in Vegas.

Britney Spears made Tyson Beckford her bitch by strapping a leash to him and walking him up and down the stage for her audience to see ... and it looks like he loved it.

Brit reunited with her old "Toxic" music video co-star in Vegas during her Planet Hollywood show -- and there was a lot of leather, a lot of chains ... and a lot of Tyson on all fours.

After the "Freakshow" performance ... the Chippendale's headliner got more comfortable by stripping to cheers and screams in the crowd. Brit joined in too, but no stripping for her. No chains either.

Flavor Flav was arrested early Thursday morning in Las Vegas by highway patrol and got nailed for so many alleged crimes ... it might be easier to tell you what cops didn't pin on him.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, this all began when cops spotted Flav at 12:30 AM 2005 black BMW and going 73mph in a 45mph zone.

Flav was busted for speeding last year in NY on the way to his mother's funeral. When cops ran his license, they found it was suspended 16 times.

He swore to a judge he fixed the problem, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Mark Cuban suffered a slow, painful poker death at the hands of Tiger Woods, but wants to make it clear ... he's still got a few pennies left to invest on "Shark Tank."

Cubes tells TMZ Sports, Tiger did hit him hard during the charity poker tournament in Vegas last weekend, and says Tiger's secret weapon was being a "very patient" player. Odd, since Woods is known to be anything but than when he's stinking up a golf course.

And the Mavericks owner says, despite the hysterical video he posted of Tiger's poker face right after their game -- he didn't lose everything. He says, "We didn’t have any big bets like people made it seem."

In other words, Cuban was just billionaire broke -- as in, still filthy rich to the rest of us -- and only until he walked 20 feet to the nearest ATM.

Ronda Rousey eats chicken wings. Boxer Danny Garcia immediately has sex. But Daniel Cormier says he has a different post-fight ritual planned for UFC 187 ... he's going to Mariah!!!

Since the UFC star is set to take on Rumble Johnson in Vegas this weekend ... Cormier says he plans on taking in a local show the night after the fight -- and he picked Mariah over Britney and Celine!

But Cormier says he's not usually a "Diva" kind of guy -- admitting he's OBSESSED with Boyz II Men ... and has basically become a regular at their shows!!!

Cormier's not joking ... he's a bona fide B2M'er ... and he's damn proud of it.

Floyd Mayweather's uncle says he was going to make a woman "feel the real deal" ... after she blasted him with pepper spray in Vegas ... insinuating he was going to beat her up ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

FYI -- Roger Mayweather was a famous champion fighter in his own right who went on to train Floyd for some of his biggest bouts ... and worked in Floyd's camp for the Pacquiao fight.

In the video, which we're told was shot on March 14th in a discount shop in Vegas ... the 54-year-old admits he was blasted with mace ... and vows revenge on the woman who did it.

Sources connected to the incident tell us ... Roger had approached two women and began to hit on them ... saying they had "fat asses."

But we're told the women weren't having it ... and tried to tell him to leave. When Roger pressed on ... one pulled out the pepper spray, fired on him, and ran out of the store.

In the clip, shot moments after the incident, the photog suggests the women were lucky Roger didn't punch them -- to which Roger replies:

"Man, don't worry about that ... I don't even wanna think about what I'm gonna do to her ass when I see her, for real."

He continues, "When I see her again, she gonna feel the real deal."

We're told the people at the store wanted to call the police -- but Roger insisted they leave the cops out of it.

FYI -- Mayweather was convicted of battery in 2011 for attacking a female boxer he used to train at his Las Vegas apartment.

Mariah Carey has the green light to perform Saturday night at Caesars Palace in Vegas, but Mimi's fans are still skeptical about whether she'll make it to the stage.

Sources at the hotel tell us the box office has been flooded with calls today from gun shy fans who are concerned they're going to get stiffed like the crowd did on Wednesday ... when Mariah had to cancel due to bronchitis.

If it's any consolation to the worry worts --- our Mariah sources say all signs point to MC performing. Doctors cleared her, and she attended a rehearsal. In order to save her voice, we're told she whistled the songs ... and even that sounded pretty good.

Taylor Swift pissed off people from around the world Friday night, when she pulled the plug on a livestream of her concert at the very last minute.

Taylor performed at Rock in Rio in Vegas, along with Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and John Legend. Yahoo! Music made a big deal that it would livestream the entire concert, including Taylor's set. But just before Taylor went on, she had a change of heart and nixed the livestream.

Fans were irate, some of whom stayed up all night so they could watch her sing.

Mariah Carey's tour is already rocky and it's only been a week ... she's just cancelled Wednesday night's Vegas show.

Our Mariah sources say the singer has bronchitis and her doctors have advised her not to use her voice.

We're told so far only Wednesday night's show is cancelled and she has a couple of days off until the next scheduled performance. But it's uncertain she'll be able to perform.

The cancellation came at the last minute. People have flown in for the show and we're told many have arrived at the venue, where they saw the sign that says "Tonight's performance has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled."
