Forget the champagne, when Michael Strahan found out he was the new host of "Live! With Kelly" it was all about the Red Stripe ... because he was vacationing in Jamaica like a champ and TMZ got the photo.

The former NFL star was actually chillin in the Caribbean with his smokin' hot fiancée, Nicole Murphy, when he got the phone call of the decade ... that he was chosen to join Kelly Ripa as her new co-host.

Sources close to the show tell us, Strahan was through the roof excited when he found out the stellar news and it made his Jamaican get-away that much better.

We're told he and his fiancée celebrated the gig by simply relaxing on the beach and taking in the amazing sites.

Two months after announcing the end of her relationship with Johnny Depp, French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis soaked her sexy bones in a black bikini while vacationing in Corsica the other day.

In June, Vanessa and Johnny split up after 14 years -- and having two children -- together.

Prince Harry was still jonesin for ladies following his naked hotel party in Vegas ... 'cause later that weekend, he was back at the pool scene flirtin' with a bunch of bikini babes.

Harry hit the Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Hotel on Sunday ... where he was playfully splashing around with one girl and high-fiving another ... while hanging in the pool with his buddies.

It's unclear if either of the women were in attendance at His Royal Highness' naked billiards tournament that went down in the Prince's VIP suite Friday night.

Rapper Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony tells TMZ he lost 30 POUNDS over the past 4 months after embarking on a mission to stop being such a "fat ass." Mission accomplished.

So why the dramatic weight loss?

The rapper tells us he was determined to reinvent himself following a 4-year stint on probation -- stemming from unpaid child support -- and part of that process started with cutting the fat.

BB says the diet was simple -- he stopped eating junk food and cut down on the boozing. The result ... bye bye beer gut.

In the end, Bizzy went from 194 lbs to 165 ... and hopes to keep the weight off for good.
