TMZ broke the story ... Melissa and Sean were dating and split less than 24 hours after their relationship hit headlines.

We're told Sean wasn't happy with all the media attention they were getting after going public ... which shocked Melissa because he was fully aware of what she did for a living. It's the kinda thing that comes up over dinner.

He also invited her to loads of Vegas events ahead of the Super Bowl and snapped many photos with her. Sources added that Melissa wasn't happy with how things panned out because she thought they had a genuine spark.

We broke the story Monday afternoon, and he broke up with her the following day.

Our sources say Sean was fine with Melissa posting photos of them from their Super Bowl adventures in Las Vegas ... another reason she was caught off guard here.

We're told Melissa is sad things are over because she believed they really did have a genuine spark ... but she has a hunch Sean was feeling pressure from his side once their relationship went public.

Now, our sources say the split wasn't caused by one specific thing ... instead, like all relationships, we're told Larsa and Marcus are simply in the middle of a rough patch. Something we know they're trying to get on the same page about ... trust.

No explicit evidence (yet) that he was hobnobbing with Kendall specifically, but ya gotta figure he was there because of her. Even more fascinating ... Bunny was also in the building.

Photos have been circulating of the Puerto Rican rapper/singer hanging out with Lizzo's crew -- all of whom were rolling with Apple honcho Tim Cook, it seems -- and they were all in a completely separate private suite ... in a completely different part of the stadium too.

On its face, it would appear Kendall might, perhaps, be rekindling things with Devin once again -- whom she broke up with almost 2 years ago -- after her latest romance with Benito.

The interesting thing, of course, is that Kendall was recently spotted hanging with Bad Bunny after their own split a couple months ago. Remember, they'd been seen running with the same crew to ring in the New Year ... and some thought they were getting back together.

For starters, there was a prenup in place for their marriage -- something we knew -- and we're now learning it makes so Joe and Sofia each get to keep the assets they accumulated individually over the course of their 7 years together.

Another thing neither Sofia nor Joe are gonna have to worry about ... spousal support -- both of them waived any right to alimony -- so they're truly moving on.

Of course, the exes didn't have any kids together ... which was kind of a sticking point. Joe wanted kids -- she didn't.

Remember, they announced their split in July -- so this thing moved pretty quickly. That tracks with what we're hearing about how they each feel about it ... we're told the divorce settled super amicably, and Joe and Sofia seem happy to move on with their lives.

Joe -- who was repped by Disso Queen Laura Wasser -- is already dating Caitlin O'Connor these days ... and Sofia herself has been seeing Dr. Justin Saliman lately.

Per the paperwork, CL agreed to cough up $5 million in the settlement -- $1 mil was paid as soon as the judgment was entered (last week) and he agreed to pay an extra $4 mil 30 days after Arielle moves out of the crib ... which she says she intended to do on Feb. 1.

The upside ... Chuck gets to hold onto to pooch, Harvey, so at least he's got that. Arielle does get "liberal visitation" with the dog though -- so he's gotta share.

What's interesting is the fact that Chuck is having to shell out so much to his now-ex-wife -- the third in his life thus far -- even though things were all spelled out in an ironclad prenup. In fact, we know he coughed up extra dough -- sources with direct knowledge tell us the $5 mil Chuck's paying is actually more than the OG prenup required.

Last interesting note ... there's a non-disparagement clause in this settlement that applies to both parties -- so no trashing the other in books or other media once the dust settles.

Again, these 2 were only married a few years -- and yet, Chuck's biting the bullet, or so it seems. Now, while what he's agreed to pay might sound like a lot to your average Joe -- the dude's considered the King of Sitcoms, with a crap ton of show credits to his name.

Not only does he have 'TAAHM' under his belt ... but other huge shows he's created include "The Big Bang Theory," "Dharma & Greg" "Young Sheldon" and lots of others. All told he's worth hundreds of millions of dollars ... so to him, this is probably chump change.
