Heidi Klum and Seal Divorce

Seal and Heidi Klum may be headed for divorce, but they're still sharing things ... for example, the bodyguard she's shagging.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... Seal hired the bodyguard -- Martin Kristen -- several years ago, and since then he has worked for both Seal and Heidi. In fact, we're told he actually has spent more time with Seal.

Now here's where it gets just plain weird. Our sources say ... Seal has known that something was going on between Heidi and Martin for months, yet he continued to use his services -- as recently as last month.

TMZ broke the story ... Seal believed Heidi was "fornicating with the help" before they separated. He tried backtracking, but his new story (that he meant to say "divorced" rather than separated) doesn't make any sense.

For her part, Heidi claims she never cheated on Seal while they were together.

Heidi Klum is now speaking out in this latest battle between herself and Seal, stating the obvious ... the pair have moved on.

Following Seal's comments about "fornicating with the help" -- and his subsequent backtracking -- Heidi released a statement today saying, "I cherish all of the great memories Seal and I created together over the years. Our separation was based on issues between the two of us. Seal has moved on and so have I."

She continued, "My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children."

Seal went after Heidi Klum’s fortune out of anger and jealousy ... sources intimately familiar with the situation tell TMZ.

Heidi is telling close friends Seal made outrageous property settlement demands when she filed for divorce, despite the couples post-nuptial agreement. Heidi claims Seal asked for a huge chunk of her $70 million fortune and she believes it was all rooted in blind jealously.

We're told Seal has since backed off his financial demands, but Heidi is telling friends, it's all part of Seal's M.O. -- to lash out when he's pissed. The anger, Heidi says, is why their marriage fell apart.

Heidi is telling her confidantes ... Seal’s interview with TMZ, in which he accuses her of "fornicating with the help" during their marriage, was aggressively designed to hurt and embarrass her. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ although Seal is publicly trashing his estranged wife, he would take her back in a second.

Based on what we’re hearing, Seal shouldn’t hold his breath.

Heidi Klum was seen at the crack of dawn this morning at LAX catching a flight out of town ... and with all the attention surrounding her new bodyguard beau ... he was nowhere to be found.

TMZ posted a video over the weekend of Seal calling out Heidi for "fornicating with the help" while they were still married. A rep fo the singer backed off those remarks, saying, "he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together."

Our sources say Heidi and the bodyguard have gotten "very close" since her split with Seal, but their relationship remains "undefined."

Heidi landed in JFK this afternoon ... looking refreshed.

When Seal said he wished Heidi Klum "at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help" ... he didn't mean to say he thought she cheated on him while they were together ... this according to Seal's rep. You confused? Keep reading, but you may not buy it.

TMZ posted the video yesterday (see above) of Seal talking about Heidi's relationship with her bodyguard. He said Heidi lacked class and pretty plainly claimed Heidi's cheating broke up the marriage.

But Seal's rep now says that's not what he meant, telling TMZ, "Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together, but he was merely pointing out that their separation and divorce are not yet final and they are indeed still legally married."

Seal’s accusation that Heidi Klum cheated on him during their marriage is absolutely false ... at least that’s what Heidi is telling close friends.

TMZ posted a video this morning in which Seal said straight out said Heidi was screwing the bodyguard while they were together --- and that is why their marriage fell apart.

Heidi told one close friend today her relationship with the bodyguard was "strictly professional" while she was with Seal.

The friends tell us that since the split, Heidi says she has gotten "very close" to the bodyguard ... who has helped her through the difficulties of ending a marriage

As for the nature of their relationship now ... all the friend would say is it's "undefined." So that's what the kids are calling it these days.

Seal opened up in a shocking way last night, accusing Heidi Klum of banging her bodyguard during their marriage and alleging that's why they broke up.

In a recent interview with Bild am Sonntag (a German newspaper, duh) ... Klum addressed her current divorce with Seal -- whom she was married to for 7 years -- and how it has changed her views on tying the knot.

Klum says, "I do not know if I would still get married. Although I really liked being married. I am a dreamer. I loved our annual fairytale weddings that were our big family gatherings. But then somehow it has unfortunately not worked."

Although the "Project Runway" guru isn't planning to settle down ... she did add, "I look forward, I concentrate on my family, and I must say, I'm happy."

Seal has filed his response to Heidi Klum's divorce petition, and it looks like he's gearing up for a dispute over who gets what in the divorce.

TMZ already reported that Heidi claims there is a postnuptial agreement, which means there are no joint or community assets. But in Seal's papers, he claims there are "community and quasi-community assets" and he makes no mention of the postnup.

As for how much is on the line ... the answer is, a lot. Heidi is worth an estimated $70 million. Seal is reportedly worth around $15 million.

Seal is also asking for joint physical custody of their 4 kids -- Heidi wants primary physical custody, with Seal getting visitation.

Fact is ... based on photos and videos, Heidi has almost always had the kids when Seal was away, and given that he's away a lot on tour, giving her primary physical custody is pretty much status quo.

Seal wants the judge to deny spousal support to Heidi. For her part, she wants to deny spousal support to Seal. The reality ... they both make a lot of money and won't be getting support.

Heidi Klum didn't get a little divorce filing dampen her Saturday, venturing out in Brentwood to take her two sons, Henry and Johan, to karate class.

Seal has finally surrendered to the reality that his wife is leaving him -- 'cause for the first time since the split, the singer was spotted without his wedding ring.

Right after the split, Seal appeared on "Ellen" and said he had "no intention" of removing the wedding band because "It's a token of how I feel about this woman" ... adding, "It feels really comfortable on my hand."

But the singer clearly wanted to send a message when he arrived in Australia this morning -- 'cause dude had bright yellow nail polish on his fingers, which drew even more attention to the fact he was sans ring.

For the first time in years, Heidi Klum spent Valentine's Day WITHOUT the company of Seal.

Heidi -- accompanied by a bodyguard -- was out on Sunset Blvd. last night around 7:30 PM ... walking right past Boa restaurant and into an area where you can enter the Soho House ... a super-fancy members-only club with a restaurant and a bar.
