Devastating news in the sports world ... rising Badminton star Zhang Zhijie died after collapsing during a match on Sunday. He was only 17.
The tragic incident occurred during the Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Yogyakarta, Indonesia ... as China's Zhijie faced Japan's Kazuma Kawano.
Footage of the incident, which we will not share, shows Zhijie collapsing, sending him crashing to the floor, where he appeared to convulse ... as his opponent and other officials stood watching.

The famous Washington Post journalist sat down with CNN host Anderson Cooper Monday night to discuss Biden's horrible performance against Trump during last week's debate in the run-up to the 2024 Presidential election.
Citing anonymous sources, Bernstein told Cooper that Biden's top aides have witnessed similar behavior by the commander-in-chief on "15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half."

Ray and a Zeus Network exec were yelling about fighting each other, as bodyguards desperately tried to keep things peaceful. Ray did throw a punch but didn't hit anyone. At one point, Ray grabbed a backpack out of his vehicle and charged back into the crowd -- it's unclear what was in the bag, but his team was able to convince him to get back in the vehicle and they drove off without further incident.
