Brittney Griner says while she was locked away in a prison cell in Russia, she contemplated dying by suicide several times.

The WNBA superstar told ABC News' Robin Roberts in a lengthy interview that aired Wednesday night the thoughts crept into her mind just after Russian authorities threw her behind bars for packing vape cartridges in her luggage at a Moscow airport in February 2022.

"I wanted to take my life more than once in the first weeks," Griner said. "I felt like leaving here so badly."

We got the famed Hollywood psychiatrist Monday on "TMZ Live," where he offered up his professional opinion on Britney's situation -- this as she appears to be unraveling at the seams ... with her finances in shambles as she continues to spend excessively.

Take a listen to what Dr. Sophy says he thinks Britney requires at this point ... from his POV, he believes a second round of a court-ordered conservatorship might be what's best.

Britney Spears is in "serious danger" on both the mental and financial front and is doing way worse than she was under the conservatorship ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ.

As for her mental health, our sources say Britney is "completely dysfunctional." Since the conservatorship ended, she has no supervision and, according to sources, has radical mood swings that we're told are "shocking."

We're told she's almost totally isolated and, as it was put to us, dangerously unstable.

Rudy Moreno -- a veteran L.A. comedian who's huge in the Latin comedy scene -- is currently hospitalized in the ICU ... but his spouse tells us she can't even locate him.

The stand-up's wife, Arlene, tells TMZ ... Rudy's been in the intensive care unit at a local hospital here in Los Angeles since last Tuesday -- this after she says he was admitted following a bout with pneumonia and receiving dialysis treatment.

The problem ... Arlene herself is also on the mend, telling us she's also been in the hospital lately following a lung transplant ... and now, she says the hospital Rudy was supposed to be at is apparently telling her they can't find him in their system.

Selena Quintanilla's brother, A.B., III is offering up an apology after losing it on fans this weekend during a music festival in Texas ... and he's blaming the fact he was off his meds.

In a since-deleted video shared to Instagram, the musician -- who used to tour with his late sister -- said he regretted his behavior at the Tejano Explosion 2024 music festival, in San Antonio ... revealing he was forced to go off mental health medication amid a cancer scare weeks prior.

He explains ... "After Selena passed away, [mental health issues] came around. I became bipolar. I became OCD, ADD, PSTD [sic] ... I'm on the spectrum basically, for people who understand that."

Rudy Moreno -un veterano comediante de Los Ángeles que es enorme en la escena de la comedia latina- se encuentra hospitalizado en la UCI, pero su esposa nos dice que no puede localizarlo.

Arlene le dice a TMZ que Rudy ha estado en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en un hospital de Los Ángeles desde el pasado martes, esto después de que ella dijera que fue admitido después de un ataque de neumonía y recibir tratamiento de diálisis.

El problema es que la propia Arlene también se está recuperando, y nos dice que también ha pasado tiempo en el hospital últimamente después de un trasplante de pulmón. Dice que el hospital donde se suponía que Rudy estaba le dice que no pueden encontrarlo en su sistema.

The Minnesota Timberwolves were forced to finish their series-clinching win over the Phoenix Suns without Chris Finch -- the head coach suffered a painful knee injury after his own player crashed into him on the sidelines ... and it was so bad, he had to be helped off the court.

The unfortunate incident went down in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter on Sunday ... when Wolves guard Mike Conley took the ball up the court and bumped into Suns star Devin Booker.

Conley tumbled toward the sideline right where Finch was standing ... and the momentum forced him down to the hardwood, despite the hooper trying to brace his fall.
