College Baseball Team Police Investigating Alleged Poisoning ... Spiked Water Jug W/ Paint Thinner??

Police are investigating the alleged attempt to poison a college baseball team by spiking their water jug with paint thinner ... and now cops are trying to get to the bottom of the wild claims.

In police docs we obtained, Kansas Wesleyan University filed an incident report with Lindsborg PD in Kansas ... where multiple unnamed people from the school are listed as victims.

In the report, several offenses are listed: criminal threat; contaminated food/water sources, battery; knowing/recklessly causing bodily harm, criminal damage to property.

On Sunday, a Twitter account (not affiliated with Kansas Wesleyan University or Barstool Sports) posted a picture of a water cooler that appears to show an unknown substance.

"Putting PAINT THINNER in our water coolers to get our baseball players sick and still getting toasted by 31 runs is WILD. Stay classy! Glad all our players are okay #buckfethany," the tweet read.

Important to note ... Bethany College, nor anyone from the school, is named in the police report.

Olympic Gold Medalist Chloe Kim Snowboard Star Taking Season Off ... To Focus On Mental Health

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim is taking a break from competitive snowboarding -- saying she needs time to "reset" and focus on her mental health.

Kim -- who started snowboarding at 4 years old -- is coming off a huge victory in the 2022 Winter Olympics ... winning a gold medal in the halfpipe event.

The 22-year-old says it was fun but exhausting ... and will take this season off to get herself right.

"I will be taking a full season off of competition just for my mental health," Kim said on Cheddar News last week.

"Just want to reset. Don't want to get right back into after such a fun but draining year at the same time."

This isn't the first time Kim has taken a break from boarding ... after winning the gold medal in the 2018 Winter Olympics, she took the following season off and went to Princeton University to study anthropology.

Kim says going to the prestigious school was "refreshing," and being around people who weren't snowboarders or athletes helped.

"It was nice to know I can make friends with people that weren't snowboarders or in the industry," she said. "It's just nice to have that separation and to get away from the thought of working."

Kim does plan on returning for the 2026 Games in Italy -- saying, "I just want to enjoy this moment, take it all in and then get back to it when I feel like I'm ready."

"As of now, the plan is most definitely to go after a third medal."

Besides the two Olympic gold medals, Kim is also a six-time X Games gold medalist and is the first to win the championship in all four major events (World, Olympic, Youth Olympic and X Games).

She also won three ESPY awards in 2018 for Best Female Athlete, Best Female Olympian and Best Female Action Sports Athlete.

Eco-Friendly This Bottled Rain Water ... Is the Purest on the Planet

TMZ may collect a share of sales or other compensation from links on this page.

You probably already know that around 60 percent of the human body is comprised of water, which is why staying hydrated is so important to staying healthy.

The purest water comes from the sky as rain, and by capturing it before it ever touches the ground, Heart Water’s Plain Rain remains pure. To accomplish this, Heart Water sources Plain Rain from their 2-acre collection facility, where it is ethically sourced, making it an infinitely renewable resource. The result is bottled water that actually protects the depleted water resources that the Earth and its inhabitants depend on.

Once rainwater is collected at the Heart Water facility, it undergoes a 7-step purification process to ensure it’s the cleanest, purest water available. Additionally, Heart Water’s commitment to sustainability doesn’t end at sourcing. The company uses fully recyclable aluminum bottles to avoid contributing to the single-use plastic problem. Unlike other bottled water, every bottle of Heart Water you purchase actually helps reduce your carbon footprint.

Most importantly, Heart Water sells the purest naturally filtered water on the planet, but you don’t have to take our word for it. Heart Water has consistently placed in the top five in international water tasting competitions for five years in a row.

Christine's rep tells us producers offered Quinn the opportunity to video chat in for the reunion, but she declined as she wasn't feeling well enough to do it.

You gotta imagine Christine's absence will make the reunion much less interesting, as Quinn’s had a feud with several members of the cast.

Bodybuilder Shane Post Shot During Dispute Over Parking Spot ... Incident Caught On Video

EXTREME MEASURES

Bodybuilder Shane Post was shot in the torso after getting into a dispute with a neighbor over a parking space outside his Dallas, TX townhome last Tuesday ... and the man who allegedly pulled the trigger is now behind bars.

Thankfully, Shane, whose colon, liver, and kidney were damaged, is recuperating in the hospital ... and even had the strength to talk to a local news outlet, Pittsburgh Action News, from his ICU room.

"The bullet is still in me," the bodybuilder said.

Shane, who is in stable condition, is expected to remain in the hospital for a few more days at the very least.

The alleged shooter is a man named Nikki Brown. Police say he was still at the scene when they arrived following the shooting ... and was taken into custody. Brown was brought to Ellis County Jail, where he was booked for assault with a deadly weapon. He's since been released on bond.

As for why the shooting allegedly happened ... Shane's wife, Irina Post, says the man became angry when Shane's friend apparently pulled into his assigned parking spot while dropping off her husband.

Irina told the news outlet Mr. Brown -- who she says they've had a couple previous encounters with the neighbor -- came out in his robe with a loaded gun in his pocket.

Perhaps the worst part for the Post family ... Irina was standing outside with her and Shane's 3-month-old baby daughter when her hubby was shot.

Shane has been competing as a bodybuilder for years. He won the 2017 Mr. Pittsburgh competition.

Get well soon!

'Princess Bride' Star Cary Elwes Bitten by Rattlesnake ... Airlifted to Hospital

UPDATE

1:14 PM PT -- Elwes just showed off his snakebite, it got him on the finger. He writes, "Bit not by a ROUS but a rattlesnake. Grateful to the staff of Malibu Urgent Care, LA County Fire Dept. and the staff and medical professionals at UCLA for their great care. Am recovering well thanks to all these wonderful folks."

UPDATE

Cary Elwes got way more than he bargained for when a day of yardwork turned into a helicopter ride to the hospital after a nasty rattlesnake bite.

Sources connected to Cary tell TMZ ... the 'Princess Bride' star was airlifted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Saturday after he was bitten by a rattlesnake near his Malibu home. We're told he was working outside when the accident happened -- it's unclear where he was bitten.

In any case ... our sources say it was serious enough that Cary required immediate medical attention, as we're told people around him felt it was a life-threatening injury.

The good news ... Cary is going to make a full recovery and got the help he needed in time.

Cary was famously injured and hospitalized on the set of 'PB' -- not once, but twice actually ... he was knocked out cold by accident during a fake KO scene and required stitches. He also broke his toe at one point, and was hobbling around through much of the shoot.

So, yes ... the guy is historically a trooper, but not even the toughest of them can handle a poisonous snake bite. Of course, ya gotta imagine Zack Snyder's happy to hear this too.

Cary was recently cast to star in ZS's new 'Rebel Moon' flick -- with a prominent role, no less -- and production started up this past week ... something Cary himself was stoked about.

This is awesome.

Tampa Bay Rays minor leaguer Tyler Zombro was met with cheers throughout the stadium on Sunday ... when he took the mound for the first time since his terrifying head injury last June.

Remember, 27-year-old Zombro was hit by a line drive during a minor league game for the Triple-A Durham Bulls ... requiring 16 plates and 32 screws to be installed into his head.

After nearly a year of recovery, Zombro made his big comeback on Sunday ... throwing a scoreless inning against Norfolk.

A welcoming message was displayed on the scoreboard as Zombro took the mound ... and players and coaches from both teams stepped out of the dugout to give the pitcher a standing ovation.

Zombro spoke about his comeback after the game ... saying, "I think it all came kind of full circle there and definitely was a symbol of me 'completing the journey' to be back to performing in Triple-A," according to MLB.

"It stirred up emotions in terms of everything that my support system has done for me -- Rays front office, Durham staff, wife, family, friends, teammates, etc."

Welcome back, Tyler!!

Sharon Osbourne Says Facelift Made her look like 'f***** Cyclops' ... Talks 'Horrendous' Surgery and Therapy

Sharon Osbourne has had a year of ups and downs ... opening up about a 'horrendous' facelift that left her looking like a "f***** Cyclops" and why she went to an unconventional form of therapy.

The former 'The Talk' host talked a lot about her recent plastic surgery in an interview with The Sunday Times ... "I had a full facelift done in October and I looked like one of those f***** mummies that they wrap".

She wasn't done ... "It was horrendous I'm, like, you've got to be f***** joking. One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f***** Cyclops. I'm, like, "All I need is a hunchback."

Sharon says she wasn't the only one who was upset ... her hubby, Ozzy Osbourne, agreed and even offered to pay to fix it, no matter the price.

Now, months after the surgery, she says she's finally growing into her face. But, Sharon has had other things to worry about this past year.

As you know, Sharon left "The Talk" after defending her friend Piers Morgan who attacked Meghan Markle on his show. When we asked her about a possible return to the show, she said ... "I would never go back to that show because CBS sucks big time d**k."

She says the firing took its toll ..., leading her to undergo months of Ketamine therapy -- which employs a drug to induce dissociative anesthesia, sedation, and amnesia.

The Kid LAROI is looking out for his fans, stopping his show after some concertgoers clashed onstage with security guards.

The Australian rapper surprised his fans with a secret concert at the Lodge Room in L.A.'s Highland Park neighborhood, but during the performance ... 2 people got a little too amped and got taken down.

The 2 fans jumped onto the stage, and security had to tackle them to the ground. They didn't get tossed out of the building, though ... and The Kid actually stopped the show to check on them.

Once he made sure they were all good, he even found their shades on the stage and returned them, telling the owner they were "clean as f**k."

Fan safety has been on a lot of artists' minds lately ... as you'll recall, Billie Eilish paused her concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC back in February, telling the crowd to take a deep breath and step back.

Arcade Fire stopped their big Coachella performance last weekend as someone in the audience had a medical emergency ... the fan was taken out on a stretcher.

These sudden halts are obviously a response to the Astroworld tragedy in November, where 10 people died in the crowd during Travis Scott's performance.

Aaliyah Gayles' Father Star H.S. Recruit Will Hoop Again After Shooting ... 'Still a USC Trojan!'

Amazing news from Aaliyah Gayles' father ... the USC hoops recruit's dad tells TMZ Sports she will return to the basketball court and play for the Trojans -- despite being shot multiple times last weekend.

As we previously reported, four people -- including 18-year-old Gayles -- were shot when someone opened fire at a North Las Vegas house party on April 16.

Gayles' dad, Dwight, tells us his daughter went to the party to accompany a friend and stayed for only 30 minutes or so before she decided to leave -- and that's when the shooting happened.

Dwight says the 5-foot-9 guard was hit a total of 10 times in "both arms and both legs" and had her third surgery this week.

Thankfully, Dwight says Aaliyah is expected to make a full recovery -- and is still planning to play for the USC women's basketball team.

"She will be able to play ball again," Dwight tells us. "It's God's plan."

"She is still a USC Trojan."

Trojans head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said in a statement shortly after the shooting that Gayles is "one of the strongest, most resilient young people I have ever known" and she will continue to support her and her family.

Gayles is a 5-star recruit and the #8 overall ranked player in ESPN's 2022 class. At Spring Valley High School last season, she averaged 13.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.3 assists per game.

NHL Legend Guy Lafleur Dead At 70

NHL legend Guy Lafleur -- a Hockey Hall of Famer and five-time Stanley Cup winner -- has died at 70 years old, his sister announced.

The former Montreal Canadiens forward passed away on Friday after battling a myriad of health issues, including lung cancer.

"Guy I love you," Lafleur's sister wrote in a heartbreaking post on social media Friday morning. "You are done suffering we will miss you greatly."

Guy is considered one the greatest hockey players ever -- after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1971 draft, Lafleur went on to star for the Canadiens for 14 years.

He made six All-Star teams with Montreal, tallied 518 goals and 728 assists, and helped the Canadiens hoist the Cup five times in the 70s. Lafleur also became the first player ever to score 50 or more goals in six straight seasons in his Canadiens tenure.

"We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Guy Lafleur," Canadiens president Geoff Molson said. "All members of the Canadiens organization are devastated by his passing. Guy Lafleur had an exceptional career and always remained simple, accessible, and close to the Habs and hockey fans in Quebec, Canada and around the world."

Molson continued, "Throughout his career, he allowed us to experience great moments of collective pride. He was one of the greatest players in our organization while becoming an extraordinary ambassador for our sport."

Lafleur retired following the 1985 season and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame three years later. He eventually came out of retirement to play for the New York Rangers and the Quebec Nordiques following his induction, before leaving the game for good in 1991.

Mike Tyson Repeatedly Punches Man On Plane ... Bloodies Passenger's Face

UPDATE

1:21 PM PT -- The San Francisco Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports officers did respond to the scene ... and did detain two people they believed to be involved in the incident.

UPDATE

Cops added, though, that after one of the people was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, that person "provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation."

UPDATE

The SFPD says it is aware of the video of the altercation and has forwarded it to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

UPDATE

7:28 AM PT -- Sources close to Mike claim the man was extremely intoxicated ... and wouldn't stop provoking the boxer in his seat.

Mike Tyson seemed to lose his cool on a plane on Wednesday night ... repeatedly punching a man in the face after the guy had apparently annoyed him.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the incident all went down at around 10:30 PM PT as Tyson was slated to fly out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida.

A witness on the plane says as he and his friend were boarding Tyson's flight ... the boxing legend was initially cool with them and the other passengers.

BLOODIED BY TYSON
TMZSports.com

The witness tells us Mike took a selfie with him ... and then was patient with his overly excited buddy, who kept trying to talk to the 55-year-old fighter as he sat behind him.

Eventually, though, we're told Tyson had enough of the guy behind him talking in his ear ... and told him to chill. When the guy didn't, that's when the witness says Tyson started to throw several punches at the man's face.

Video we obtained shows Tyson throwing a flurry of blows at the man, which you can see bloodied the passenger's forehead. The witness says Mike walked off the plane just seconds later.

We're told the man who was punched received medical attention and then went to the police over the incident. We've reached out to cops for comment, but so far, no word back yet.

We've also reached out to JetBlue and Tyson's camp for comment on the incident as well, but no word back yet there either.

SAVED BY THE BOSS

Bare Knuckle Fighting star Joey Beltran was nearly KO'd before his Thursday night fight -- 'cause the #1 ranked heavyweight tells TMZ Sports he literally began choking at breakfast, and would probably be dead if someone didn't step in and save him.

And, guess who played hero? Bare Knuckle executive David Feldman!!

If you're a fight fan, you know 'The Mexicutioner.' Before joining BKFC (where he has a 5-2-1 record) a few years ago, Joey spent time in the UFC and Bellator.

Beltran was eating breakfast in his hotel room in Ft. Lauderdale when his coach showed him a funny internet video.

"An old school Fear Factor video or something and I started laughing," Beltran tells us.

"Next thing you know, I started choking."

The 40-year-old scrapper says he started panicking when he couldn't cough up the food -- and that's when Feldman came to the rescue.

"Of all people, the boss man had to come up and bust a Heimlich," JB said. "Couple of pumps and I spit it out and I was all good."

"So, contrary to popular people, David Feldman cares about us fighters!"

Despite the scary incident, JB is still scheduled to fight Frank Tate (1-1-1) tonight -- the main event for a loaded fight card.

It's arguably a must win for Beltran ... who's gunning for a rematch with Arnold Adams, the #3 ranked heavyweight fighter who recently beat him in a title fight.

It all goes down inside the Charles F. Dodge City Center at 9 PM ET!

Josh Groban Still Wearing A Mask On Planes 'I Use My Lungs For A Living!'

BEING CAUTIOUS
TMZ.com

Josh Groban isn't ditching his mask in the air, despite the new rule allowing people to fly without covering their mouth and nose ... and he has reasons why.

We got Josh at LAX Tuesday, and he puts it plainly -- his voice is his livelihood, so extra protection is needed.

Josh acknowledges he may be in the minority -- people on his flight were cheering when the captain came on and said masks were no longer required. But, Josh has a different, personal point of view ... partly because of his parents. There's also the business of touring that makes going maskless problematic.

A federal judge ruled Monday the CDC's mandatory mask policy on planes was illegal. The Justice Dept. has said if the CDC wants to appeal they will oblige. For now ... no masks.

On a completely separate subject, we ask Josh about a bug named after Taylor Swift. Yeah, we asked that.

Devin Booker Fist Bumps Toddler After Tough Shot ... Baby Dap!!!

Devin Booker turned the toughest shot in the Suns' playoff game Tuesday night into the cutest ... dapping up a baby to celebrate a wild make!!!

The Phoenix star's adorable interaction with the courtside toddler happened after he drilled a stepback jumper to end the first quarter of the Suns vs. Pelicans game.

Booker dribbled to get some space and knocked down a 2-pointer before the buzzer sounded ... and then he fist bumped a toddler!

The scene was super sweet, Booker was gentle with the baby's little knuckles -- and, his own girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, appeared to love it all too!!

KENDALL'S VIEW

KJ posted video of her view of the play on IG -- seemingly enjoying every second of it.

Unfortunately for Booker ... his night took a turn for the worse about two quarters later -- because in the third, he injured his hamstring and couldn't return to action.

The Suns went on to lose without the star, 125-114 ... and there's now big concern in Phoenix about his availability for the rest of the playoffs.

Listerine Get a Cut of Mouthwash Sales ... Royalties Up for Grabs for $2.1M

Listerine antiseptic mouthwash could become someone's cash cow ... because a cut of the famous brand's global sales is up for grabs ... but it's gonna take a huge investment.

Here's the deal ... Listerine has a longstanding agreement dating back to 1881 which essentially guarantees royalty payments to a select few on a monthly basis for as long as the mouthwash product is sold.

A royalty interest in gross sales is being sold through the Royalty Exchange, with a list price of $2.1 million. So far, one bidder has offered $1 million.

The auction house says this royalty interest paid out $114,253 in the past year ... and the payments averaged roughly the same amount, $114,715, for the past 3 years ... which means it would take about 18 years to recoup a $2.1 million investment.

But, unlike royalties for songs ... where copyrights last for the lifetime of the last surviving author plus 70 years ... the Listerine royalties payout every month in perpetuity.

The unique deal is all thanks to an agreement hammered out way back in 1881 between the Listerine mouthwash inventor, Dr. JJ Lawrence, and his first distributor.

The contract includes a royalty based on the number of ounces sold, paid to him and his "heirs, executors or assigns" for as long as the product is sold ... with the ownership stake splintering between various entities over the years, including heirs, universities, hospitals, pension funds and a few individuals.

The royalties from sales in the U.S. are paid out monthly, based on the prior month's sales, while a cut from international sales is paid out on a quarterly basis ... and it's all calculated from the gross sale of Listerine Antiseptic by Johnson & Johnson.
