Christian Eriksen Scores On Same Field As Collapse ... 290 Days After Cardiac Arrest

Christian Eriksen solidified his incredible comeback on Tuesday ... by scoring a goal on the same field he suffered a cardiac arrest on just 290 days prior -- and the scene is incredibly powerful.

The moment happened in the 57th minute of Denmark's match against Serbia at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen ... when Eriksen fired a shot to the near post and to the back of the net to secure a 3-0 lead and the win.

Naturally, the home fans stood and shouted for the soccer star ... and his teammates celebrated as Eriksen scored his second goal in two games.

BTW -- CE scored a goal for Denmark on Saturday ... in his first game back since he collapsed to the field during Euro 2020 last June.

Eriksen previously did not know if he'd ever be able to suit up and take the pitch again ... but all doubt has been erased less than one year later.

Incredible stuff from Eriksen.

Eugene Melnyk Ottawa Senators Owner ... Dead At 62

Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk has died from an illness, the NHL team announced on Monday night. He was just 62 years old.

According to the hockey club, Melnyk passed away following a battle with an undisclosed disease. The team noted he fought the illness "with determination and courage."

Melnyk -- a billionaire who made his fortune, in part, in the pharmaceutical and medical sales industry -- bought the Senators back in 2003 for $92 million ... and quickly found success.

The team made the Stanley Cup Final in 2007 -- and is now, according to Forbes, worth around half a billion dollars.

"While successful in business, it was our game and his Senators that he was most passionate about," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said in a statement Monday following the owner's death. "Eugene was often outspoken but he maintained an unwavering commitment to the game and his roots and he loved nothing more than donning a Senators sweater and cheering on his beloved team."

"On behalf of the entire National Hockey League," Bettman continued, "I extend my deepest sympathies to Eugene’s daughters, Anna and Olivia, his extended family, and all those who benefited from his generosity."

NHL star and Senators team captain Brady Tkachuk also mourned the loss of Melnyk on Monday ... saying in a tweet, "The Ottawa community will miss you greatly."

In addition to his role as the Senators honcho, Melnyk was also successful in the horse-racing world ... with many of his horses winning coveted titles in Canada.

RIP.

USMNT's Christian Pulisic Does Worm Dance Celebration ... To Honor Fan W/ Cancer

U.S. men's soccer star Christian Pulisic gave a touching shout-out to a fan battling cancer during Sunday's game -- by fulfilling his request and doing the worm dance on the field right after scoring!!

The moment happened during USMNT's 5-1 win over Panama in World Cup qualifying on Sunday ... with the 23-year-old midfielder hitting the grass after scoring his second goal -- and busting out the iconic "worm" dance.

"Look at this," the FS1 broadcaster said as Pulisic executed the 1970s move.

"Okay!! Busting out the worm!"

As it turns out, Pulisic's reasoning behind the throwback celly will tug at your heartstrings -- the star says he did it as a promise to a fan named Mason Ogle, a 15-year-old high school soccer player who was diagnosed with bone cancer.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The two met during Saturday's workout ... which Pulisic mentioned after the game ... saying, "I met someone really special yesterday."

"His name was Mason, and his one request was that if I scored, he wanted to see a worm celebration," he said.

"That’s what that was for."

Amazing gesture from Pulisic ... and keep fighting, Mason!!

Jake Paul Hey, Will and Chris ... Box Out The Beef For $15 Million!!!

Jake Paul wants in on the Will Smith vs. Chris Rock feud -- the YouTuber-turned-fighter is offering both actors $15 MILLION to take their beef to the boxing ring!!

Shortly after the slap heard around the world went down at the Oscars, "Impractical Jokers" star Sal Vulcano joked about how much the Most Valuable Promotions founder would cough up to get both legends in the ring for an epic event for the ages.

ABC 3/27/22
TAKIN' NO DISRESPECT
ABC

The 25-year-old fighter -- who previously offered Pete Davidson and Kanye West $30 milli each to face off in the ring -- delivered on his new proposition late Sunday night ... claiming he already has $30 million set aside for a Smith vs. Rock bout.

"I got $15m for Will Smith and $15m for Chris Rock ready to go," Paul tweeted ... adding he already has a date in mind.

"Let’s do it in August on my undercard."

FYI -- The biggest Pay-per-view ever is 4.6 million buys for Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

A Will vs. Chris fight would undoubtedly be successful, but don't hold your breath on it ever happening -- after all, both guys have all the money in the world and it would be quite the height/weight disadvantage for Rock ... but Jake's got the financial backing to make it happen.

So ... Never say never??

Lil Xan Released from Psych Ward, Now in Rehab ... In Good Spirits

Lil Xan seems to be doing a whole lot better ... cause TMZ has learned he is out of a psych ward and working on his mental health at a rehab center.

Sources close to Xan tell TMZ, he initially checked himself into a hospital and was 51/50'd after experiencing a mixture of exhaustion, dehydration and depression from things he was seeing online ... all of which, he says, began to take a toll on him and his mental health and well-being.

We're told, overall, he felt like he needed a break, and he wanted to go somewhere to help with his mental health and help him disconnect from social media.

He even let folks know about his frustration Wednesday, when he posted a photo from what appears to be a hospital bed. He wrote, "please stop speaking about me if you don't know me, I'm a human being just like you."

Were told, he spent 3 days in the psych ward, before he was moved to a part of the facility focused on mental health. He was given the green light to leave the psych ward after being deemed harmless to himself or others.

Lil Xan said he relapsed but what really scared him straight were the seizures he suffered ... the effects of quitting cold turkey in his attempt to beat his drug habit. 11/18/19

Phil Collins Last Show Ever with Band Genesis No Solo Songs Though???

Phil Collins appears to have performed live for the final time in his career -- alongside his band Genesis, no less -- but if true ... his solo career wasn't really acknowledged at all.

The legendary rocker/drummer took to the stage Saturday night in London at the O2 Arena, where he and his bandmates did it big for what they say was their last concert together ever ... this after a highly successful worldwide tour, which they dubbed 'The Last Domino?'

The place was packed and people were rocking out as Genesis ran through a 24-song setlist of all their greatest hits and fan favorites ... dating back to when they first formed in the late '60s. Indeed, it was awesome ... and Phil led things on the mic as lead singer.

As you can see, he was seated throughout -- as his health has declined in recent years ... and he gets around with a cane these days. He's also not able to drum anymore, but he still put on a helluva show with Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks and his own son, Nic, who filled in on drums for his pops. Even former bandmate and rock god Peter Gabriel was on hand.

Toward the end of the set, Phil let it be known that this marked their final chapter as a live band -- and it made for a very emotional moment ... a funny one too, with some quips from PC about how they'll all have to find jobs going forward.

The announcement was met with sadness at first by the crowd, but eventually, they gave the group a roaring extended applause ... realizing they were watching something special.

And, of course, as you can imagine, when Genesis walked off the stage for the final time ... there, too, people gave it up -- clapping and cheering as Phil and co. departed the stage.

Like we said, it was quite a performance and quite a spectacle for all who witnessed it ... but if this is, in fact, Phil's last time gracing the stage with his talent -- ya gotta wonder, why not let the guy have a few solo songs to himself with the band backing him?

All of the songs played on Saturday were Genesis songs, which is fine ... this was their tour together, after all. But, Phil's obviously got quite a prolific career on his own, with iconic songs that we're sure the audience would've absolutely LOVED to have heard -- especially if this is actually his last go-around, and it's assumed at this point that it is.

Perhaps that's the way he wanted things, but man ... going out without at least a refrain of 'In the Air Tonight' feels a little incomplete, no??? In any case, thanks for the music, guys!

Rapper Chika Updates Fans, I'm Okay ... After Suicide Threats

UPDATE

11:06 AM PT -- 3/27/22 -- Chika seems to be okay after all, writing ... "alive. wanna go home." She adds, "leaving the hospital. not that i should care about updating anyone besides family. i just wanna be left alone, if that’s okay. i appreciate the prayers and stuff. thanks."

UPDATE

4:28 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... police responded to Chika's North Hollywood apartment today to conduct a welfare check, only to discover she wasn't home when directed to her unit by an onsite manager.

A one-time up-and-coming rapper who was nominated for a Grammy not too long ago is now making a terrifying revelation -- saying she's likely to end her life at any given moment.

The artist is Chika -- who was named in XXL's 2020 freshman class, and was actually up for a Grammy last year in the Best New Artist category. She posted a lengthy statement on her social media page that implied she was on the verge of suicide ... to the shock of many.

She writes, in part, "i went to the top of the intercontinental, but could not jump. not because i don't want to, but because the metal stairs were scary." Chika adds, "it looks like crying wolf, but it's not. it's just difficult to find the right way. the quickest way. the painless way. i am tired of myself too."

Chika goes on to say how she believes she'll serve as a cautionary tale, in leaving a broken person to their own devices, and how she won't be sorry for those she might leave behind ... saying she refuses to carry the burden of others who refused to share her own.

It's a gut-wrenching note, and she ends it by writing ... "no more typing. i'm going to finish my drink and find a way that works. thanks for the ride, i hated it."

She's also been posting extra photos and text notes on her IG story, saying people can find her body and that she doesn't care. She actually appears to give certain street names, but it's unclear what city she might be in at the moment. She's from Montgomery, Alabama.

Of course, people have fired off with a ton of concern ... sending prayers her way, and openly hoping someone on her team or in her inner circle can reach her before something tragic happens. She hasn't posted any new notes in at least an hour or so.

Lady Gaga Dog Walker Testifies He Hit Attackers with Champagne Bottle ... In Life or Death Struggle

Lady Gaga's dog walker gave graphic testimony in the case of the dognappers who attacked and shot him, saying he's still having significant medical struggles months after the incident.

Ryan Fischer testified before an L.A. County Grand Jury about the 3 men who attacked him as he was walking Gaga's 3 dogs. According to the transcript, obtained by Rolling Stone, Ryan was thrown to the concrete as one of the attackers began choking him, and he hit the guy with a bottle of champagne he had just purchased at a nearby liquor store.

He described what he did after being shot in the chest ... "I immediately tried to call for help but realized I was bleeding out of my lung and that I was losing more and more air quickly."

Five people have been charged with attempted murder and robbery. They have pled not guilty. Three of the men are alleged gang members who were driving around Hollywood specifically looking for French bulldogs ... which go for a lot of money. They were not targeting the dogs because they were owned by Gaga.

Ryan says his lung collapsed, he was rushed to the hospital but 2 days after his release the lung collapsed again, requiring major surgery.

He says he still has breathing issues, numbness in his chest and serious mobility issues. He told the Grand Jury, "When I go from the ground up to stand, I have to, I still get very close to passing out."

Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins Investigators Find Drugs in System ... Death Investigation Continues

Some early clues have surfaced in the death investigation into what killed Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins ... investigators say tests show drugs were in his system.

In a release from the Attorney General's Office in Bogotá, Colombia, officials say a toxicology test taken from Hawkin's urine revealed 10 different substances -- including opioids, tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines.

Investigators say they will continue to work on Hawkins' case ... but obviously, the drug test is telling.

As we reported, Hawkins -- who first found fame as the drummer for Alanis Morissette -- before joining Foo and even starting his own band, was found dead Friday in a hotel room.

A post from the Foo Fighters read, "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever."

Hawkins, Dave Grohl and other members of the band were in Colombia for several shows at the time of his death.

Taylor was open about his previous struggles with substance abuse, surviving a heroin OD back in 2001.

He was 50.

Lin-Manuel Miranda I'm taking an Oscars Pass ... My Wife has COVID

We're not saying they're dropping like flies, but COVID is getting in the way of the Oscars ... at least as far as Lin-Manuel Miranda is concerned.

The "Hamilton" mastermind is staying home Sunday night, after his wife tested positive for the virus.

He said ... "Made it to Hollywood … This weekend, my wife tested [positive] for COVID. She's doing fine. Kids & I have tested [negative], but out of caution, I won't be going to the Oscars tomorrow night."

Nonetheless, he was cheering on "Cheering for my Tick, Tick... Boom!" ... which could end up with some hardware ... Andrew Garfield is up for Best Actor.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

There are a lot of nervous actors ... to gain entry into the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, they have to produce proof of vaccination and not one but 2 negative PCR tests. There are exceptions -- performers and presenters don't have to show proof of vaccination, which is weird, right?

The requirements go way beyond L.A. County Health Dept. guidelines ... most of which have been lifted as numbers continue to go down.

Taylor Hawkins Foo Fighters Drummer Dead at 50

Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette and his own band, is dead.

The Foo Fighters announced his death with a post that reads, in part, "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever."

The band is in Bogota, Colombia where they were scheduled to play Friday ... and that is reportedly where Taylor died. So far, there are no further details about where or how he passed away.

Taylor's last performance was at Lalapalooza in Argentina this month. He did not appear to have any health issues while rocking the set.

Taylor had substance abuse issues in the past, and actually survived a 2001 heroin overdose.

Along with Dave Grohl, Taylor was the most recognizable face of the Foo Fighters, which he joined in 1997. Just last year, he and the group were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Prior to joining FF, he'd been the touring drummer for Alanis and also for Sass Jordan.

Taylor and his wife Alison have 3 children -- son Oliver Shane and daughters Annabelle and Everleigh. The band's statement adds, "Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family."

Taylor and his Foo Fighter bandmates were supposed to headline Lollapalooza Brazil on Sunday night. Obviously, that gig is now up in the air.

Amy Schumer I Have Hair-Pulling Disorder ... Finally Able to Talk About It

Amy Schumer is letting the world in on what she calls her biggest secret ... the hair-pulling disorder she says has caused her internal shame for decades.

The comedian and actress says she suffers from trichotillomania, the scientific name for compulsive hair pulling -- a disorder she says she's lived with since she was a child, and one she fears may be passed on to her 2-year-old son.

Amy opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her struggles living with the disorder, saying ... "I'm proud that my big secret only hurts me but it's been what I've carried so much shame about for so long."

There's a genetic component to trichotillomania and, as a result, Amy says she feels like she's having a heart attack every time she sees her young son touch his hair.

She recalls things getting so bad when she was younger, she needed a wig to cover bald spots ... and says everyone at school knew she was rocking a wig, which didn't even fit.

Amy's confronting this issue head-on in her new scripted Hulu show, "Life & Beth" -- which is partly based on her real life -- and she's hoping it will help alleviate shame for not only herself, but also others.

Players from the New Orleans Pelicans and Saints are helping their city after powerful tornados slammed the community this week ... by delivering tons of supplies to a relief fund.

The Orleans area was hit hard on Tuesday night with storms that produced horrifying tornadoes -- some with wind speeds of 136 to 165 mph.

The dangerous tornadoes left one person dead, several injured and extensive damage in its path.

The Pelicans and Saints announced they would come together and host a donation drive at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center for the victims of the devastating storms.

You can see Tanoh Kpassagnon -- defensive end of the Saints -- and Trey Murphy, Naji Marshall and Herbert Jones of the Pelicans carry huge bins of supplies to the event.

Former Saints QB Drew Brees -- who has donated millions to the state of Louisiana -- was heartbroken over the destruction ... and asked everyone for their prayers.

"Praying for everyone affected by last night’s tornado through Texas and Louisiana," the 43-year-old said on Wednesday via IG.

"May God watch over our city, first responders, and those suffering. May we all come together to support each other during this time."

WWE's Triple H Says He'll Never Wrestle Again ... Details Heart Failure

WWE legend Triple H is opening up about his future in the ring, insisting he'll never wrestle again because of a heart condition that nearly killed him, and now requires him to have a defibrillator in his chest.

Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, joined Stephen A. Smith on his "Stephen A's World" show ... and the former WWE champ said flat out his wrestling days are over.

Levesque detailed a scary medical situation where he says he almost died in late 2021. He wasn't feeling well, and went to see doctors who performed tests. After an EKG and [echocardiogram], Paul says he received an urgent message from his doctor.

"I got a quick text message saying don't take time, pack a bag real quick and head to the emergency room."

When he got to the hospital, Triple H says his heart was functioning at a very diminished level, and the outcome looked grim.

"I was nosediving and was sorta at the one-yard line of where you don't want to be," Triple H told Smith.

Paul got emotional at times when talking about the possibility of never seeing his family again.

"There's moments in there, when they're putting you out and stuff and you wonder, 'Is this it? Do you wake up from this?'"

Thankfully, doctors saved Triple H's life ... but because of the scare, he's done working inside the squared circle.

"As far as in-ring, I'm done. I will never wrestle again," Paul told Stephen, saying, "First of all, I have a defibrillator in my chest, and it's probably not wise for me to get zapped on live TV."

We haven't seen the 52-year-old wrestle in years -- and it was rumored that his wrestling days were over following his cardiac incident late last year.

In fact, Triple H's (aka "The Game") last televised match came in 2019 ... where he was defeated by Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia.

When H wasn't entertaining the WWE universe inside the ring or on the mic, he was busy helping grow NXT, the developmental arm of the company.

Triple H is one of the pioneers in the industry -- his career spans almost 30 years and he's won multiple titles throughout his tenure as a WWE superstar.

TMZ Sports spoke with Ric Flair, who sent his best wishes for the legend shortly after the news.

And now, Ben is starting another round of radiation in the near future ... so the Oilers wanted to show the youngster some love and support.

"It was an honor to have such an inspirational #Oilers fan as our @Scotiabank Skater," the org. wrote on social media.
