VP Kamala Harris Hubby Doug Emhoff Positive for COVID ... She's Still Negative

Vice President Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, has contracted COVID-19 -- and even though the Veep is still negative ... there's concern the White House could be at risk.

The Second Gentleman tested positive for coronavirus Tuesday, but word is ... he's feeling okay. Harris, for her part, has tested negative thus far -- and will continue to test regularly ... according to her office.

Both Harris and Emhoff were scheduled to attend a White House event later today that was going to be celebrating Equal Pay Day in honor of Women's History Month ... but both husband and wife skipped it -- DE for being sick obviously, and out of caution for Harris.

There's no indication that President Biden has caught the virus -- he last tasted Sunday, but the fact he spoke at the equal pay shindig indicates he's doing just fine.

Still ... the fact Emhoff is positive seems to imply that COVID has entered the White House, and that it could possibly reach the Prez and VP -- which would be bad, especially considering Joe is scheduled to take a trip to Europe next week to deal with Ukraine.

Of course, everyone is vaccinated and boosted -- so hopefully everyone is OK.

Barack Obama's recent positive result comes to mind -- although he says he's doing fine, it's still shocking anytime it affects someone of his stature ... and the same would apply to JB and co.

Just a friendly reminder that this thing ain't over yet, and COVID still very much poses a threat ... here's hoping everyone stays safe with that in mind.

Russell Wilson & Ciara Visit Patients At Denver Hospital ... 1 Week After Joining Broncos

Russell Wilson and Ciara are wasting no time giving back to their new community -- the power couple visited patients at a Denver children's hospital ... just one week after Russ was traded to the Broncos.

The star quarterback and his famous wife were spotted at the medical facility early Tuesday afternoon ... talking with kids and taking photos at The Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios.

Denver-based sports reporter Taylor Brooks shared the news on Tuesday ... saying someone who was getting a checkup at the hospital spotted Russ and Ciara making rounds, so they decided to take a snap of their visit.

In the pic, you can see Ciara is already supporting her man's new team -- wearing a blue and orange crewneck sweater with the word "Broncos" on it.

Wilson and Ciara are no strangers to philanthropy -- not only do they make regular appearances in the community, but they also have the "Why Not You" foundation, which is dedicated to fighting poverty through education and empowering youth to lead.

It's been a while since the Broncos had a quarterback they could rally behind during games ... but with Wilson under center now, that'll definitely change -- on and off the field.

Soccer Star Christian Eriksen Set To Play For Denmark ... After Cardiac Arrest Scare Last Summer

Just nine months after Christian Eriksen literally died on the soccer pitch during a game, the Danish star is returning to play for Denmark's national club -- completing an incredible comeback.

When speaking of Eriksen, Denmark's coach, Kasper Hjulmand said, "Christian is in a pretty good physical condition."

"I saw him against Burnley last Saturday where he was the best player on the pitch. He is a player who thinks faster than most people do."

Eriksen -- a midfielder for Denmark's squad -- will play friendly matches against the Netherlands on March 26 and Serbia on March 29 ... as the team ramps up competition for the World Cup, set to take place in Qatar in November.

Of course, the sight of 30-year-old Eriksen back on the field is an encouraging one -- last June, Eriksen collapsed during a game, going into cardiac arrest, and requiring CPR to save his life, before being rushed to a hospital on a stretcher.

It was a terrifying moment that had players and fans concerned for Eriksen ... who collapsed while jogging, despite being hit by no one.

As a result of the medical emergency, Christian received an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator -- a specific type of pacemaker that's supposed to prevent Eriksen from having similar episodes in the future.

In an interview with the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, the footballer said he doesn't remember anything from when his heart stopped.

"I remember nothing from when I was gone," Eriksen said. "I just felt distant."

Christian says he's not afraid of collapsing again because he's done everything possible to take care of himself.

Eriksen's contract with Inter Milan was terminated after the cardiac device was implanted.

CE went on to sign as a free agent for Premier League club Brentford in January.

Bob Saget Final Hours Detailed in New Report ... Foul Play Ruled Out

Bob Saget's death has some people wondering if this was something more than a tragic accident, but new law enforcement documents reinforce the conclusion authorities found ... Bob hit his head on something in his hotel room and died in bed.

The document -- the Orange County Sheriff's Incident Report -- makes it clear ... when Bob arrived at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando just after 2 AM on January 9, he was fine. According to the doc, obtained by TMZ, when Bob drove up to the valet as he approached the entrance and the valet asked for a selfie and Bob obliged. The valet says Bob seemed fine and there was no evidence of slurred speech, balance issues or anything else that might sound alarm bells.

The document details that Bob was observed on security video walking "purposely across the lobby toward the elevators without stopping or interacting with anyone." No one else is seen in the video ... Bob walked to his room alone.

Once inside the room, the door was never unlocked or opened until security came later that day and discovered his body.

The Chief Medical Examiner explained why the operating theory was that Bob may have struck his head on the headboard of the bed. The M.E. says the force necessary to cause the fracture coupled with the fact the skin on the back of his head was still in tact led him to believe the injury was most likely caused by "something hard, covered by something soft."

Cops went back to the hotel room to check what object may have caused the fatal injury, and they ruled out countertops, tables, nightstands and other hard furniture, because they all had sharp and defined edges.

The headboard, however, was lightly padded and set out slightly from the wall, leading them to theorize that is what made contact with Bob's head.

Ex-NBA Star Michael Beasley Breaks Down During Emotional Interview ... 'I'm Tired Bro'

"I'M TIRED, BRO"
The Pivot

"I've been trying to find good people for so long. I'm tired, bro."

That's former NBA hoops star Michael Beasley, the #2 overall pick in 2008 (behind D. Rose), opening up about how failed relationships in his life have made him insular and distrusting of people -- and it's had a negative impact on his mental health.

Beasley joined former NFL players Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor on "The Pivot Podcast" for a candid conversation where he fought through tears and dished on everything from his mother stealing from him to living an isolated life where he only plays basketball and sits home alone.

"I don't know no one that ain't stole from me," Beasley said. "Everybody except for my kids stole from me."

"Every step of the way, I asked for help."

The conversation took a turn ... in ways going from an interview to an intervention. Clark, Chowder and Taylor pleaded with Beasley, telling him isolating himself from the world because he's been mistreated in the past isn't the solution.

The men even offered help ... with Crowder, who lives near MB, telling the hooper he'd love to hang and chill while their kids play together.

"You have kids. I have kids. Come to my house. We can get bounce houses for the kids, we can sit back on the porch, drink a couple beers, drink some wine, hang out," Crowder pleaded.

You'll recall ... Beasley was heavily touted coming out of Kansas State, where he averaged over 26 points a game during his one and only season. The 6-foot-9 forward was selected right after Derrick Rose in the NBA Draft ... with the number 2 overall pick.

Beasley was often compared to Kevin Durant -- as both guys could basically get a bucket at will. But, their pro careers have gone in different directions. KD's one of the greatest hoopers ever ... meanwhile, Beasley's become an NBA journeyman.

He played 11 seasons in the NBA ... spending time with the Timberwolves, Knicks, Bucks, Rockets, Suns and Lakers.

But, he never really established himself as a premier superstar in the NBA, something many thought was a certainty.

This interview sheds light on some of the awful things Michael's lived through ... and gives a peek at the person, not just the player.

The last time Beasley was on an NBA roster was in 2020 with the Brooklyn Nets ... but his contract with the team was voided after he tested positive for COVID-19.

THAT WAS MY BROTHER

Hulk Hogan said goodbye to Scott Hall with an emotional speech on Monday night ... saying to a crowd of people, "I love him so much I can't even explain it to you."

The Hulkster delivered the tribute message at his restaurant in Florida just hours after the wrestling legend's death ... explaining in a three-minute chat exactly how much Hall meant to him.

Hulk told a group of fans gathered at his place that Hall -- who co-founded the nWo with him and wrestled with him as "Razor Ramon" for years -- helped change his career when he was at a low point.

"He took care of me when I was down and out," Hulk said. "Everybody thought Hulkamania was dead. Scott Hall resurrected me. He put me back on the map."

Hulk asked his audience to pray for Hall -- and then in a nod to the wrestling legend's "The Bad Guy" persona, he asked everyone to party their faces off.

As we reported, Hall died on Monday following complications from surgery to repair a broken hip. He was just 63 years old.

Wrestlers everywhere tipped their hats to the former star following the news ... with The Rock also delivering an emotional tribute message on Tuesday morning.

The former WWE star shared a video of one of his matches with Hall on his social media page, and wrote, "Go rest high."

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Concerned About Her Pregnancy ... Both Positive For COVID

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are feeling anxious about her pregnancy ... because they're both fighting COVID-19 after testing positive for the virus.

The couple tells TMZ ... they are both concerned about Jill battling the virus while she's expecting, in part because of all the unknowns and shifting science.

The way Jill and Derick see things ... they're still unsure about the long-term effects of COVID, particularly for pregnant women, and while scientists are making strides in understanding the virus, the continuous developing nature of the pandemic makes things stressful.

What's more, the couple tells us Jill suffered a miscarriage last year ... meaning she's more on edge about this pregnancy ... and adding a COVID diagnosis to the mix only heightens their anxiety.

Jill and Derick, who both tested positive for the virus Thursday, tell us they are working with their doctor to ensure Jill and the baby are safe ... but the main health concerns for pregnant women like Jill are being more susceptible to developing blood clots and potentially not providing enough oxygen to the baby.

The couple says Jill, who is due to give birth in July, is taking baby aspirin to try and prevent blood clots ... and they're monitoring the baby's heart rate and keeping track of how many times the baby is kicking per day.

Jill and Derick tell us they are both fully vaccinated ... and they believe the mild symptoms they are experiencing could have been much worse without the shots.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

While the couple tells us dealing with a COVID case, particularly right now, is disappointing ... Jill's thankful she didn't catch it during her first trimester, when she was dealing with a lot of morning sickness.

Jill and Derick have 2 young boys ... but we're told they both appear healthy.

Jussie Smollett Team Demands Immediate Release Cite Threats, Health, COVID

Jussie Smollett's lawyers have wasted no time demanding his release from jail -- at least while his appeal plays out --- claiming he risks being harmed (physically and microbially) every second he stays behind bars.

The 'Empire' actor's legal team filed an emergency motion Monday asking a judge to spring Jussie from behind bars while his appeal is pending -- arguing that the potential cons of him staying locked up in Cook County far outweigh any benefits.

031422_smollett_audio_kal
THE DISTURBING VOICEMAIL

The crux of their case here is that Jussie's family has been on the receiving end of what they say is a barrage of harassing messages and phone calls aimed at Jussie ... which they say is emblematic of the harm that might actually befall him if he remains locked up.

To hammer this home ... Jussie's team offers up a video taken by the Smollett family which they say shows a stranger calling them with disgusting sentiments about what should happen to their brother as he serves his 5-month sentence.

They claim the clip -- which is laced with racist and homophobic slurs -- is just one example of what they say has been a deluge of hate sent their way -- and they fear that'll translate into real-world violence against their brother on the inside.

There are other reasons they say he should be out ... for one, they attach a sworn affidavit from a doctor who states Jussie is at a higher risk of catching COVID due to a compromised immune system ... while citing positive case rates in jails and prisons across the country.

On top of this ... Jussie's lawyers argue that because he's being held in protective custody -- which they say is akin to solitary confinement -- his mental health will deteriorate.

STICKING TO HIS GUNS
WGN

Big picture, they continue to reiterate all the points they made in court in trying to get the case tossed in the first place -- including the argument that he's already been punished for all this ... so the whole thing amounts to unconstitutional double jeopardy.

But, while they sort out all that in his official appeal, they argue he shouldn't have to be in jail ... because his sentence may, in fact, be deemed invalid at the end of the day.

Pete Alonso's Wife Reveals Aftermath Of Car Crash ... 'I Thought I Watched My Husband Die'

SAW IT HAPPEN
Instagram / @haleyralonso

Pete Alonso wasn't exaggerating -- he's seriously lucky to be alive today ... because video his wife just shared of his Sunday car crash shows the Mets star's truck was a mangled mess after being hit.

Haley Alonso posted the footage on her social media page Monday, revealing Pete's truck came to a halt on its side after it rolled over several times in a wild wreck in Tampa, Fla. over the weekend.

"A distracted driver ran a red light going at an extremely fast rate and hit directly into Pete’s truck," Haley said in the caption on the videos.

"I was in my car following behind him and saw the whole thing happen in front of me. Once the car struck the side of his truck, it flipped 3 times and slid into where you see it in these videos."

In the clips, you can see Pete's axel was ripped off his car during the accident ... and his front windshield was also cracked and kicked out.

Haley said the whole thing was completely terrifying.

"I screamed for him just hoping that he’d be able to answer me," Haley said. "He said he was ok and was going to kick out the windshield to escape since he was trapped. He got himself out and to everyone's shock, only had a single scratch on his arm."

"It's a miracle that he's safe after this horrifying of an accident. I thought I watched my husband die in front of me and I will never forget that feeling."

Pete told media members earlier on Monday that he was somehow unharmed in the crash -- and even took part in baseball drills earlier in the day.

Haley, meanwhile, ended her caption by urging everyone to be safe on the road ... writing, "Please do not drive distracted and wear your seatbelt."

Minor League Hockey Player Soaked In Blood ... After Violent On-Ice Fight

An American Hockey League game looked more like a UFC fight night this weekend -- because after two players were involved in a violent on-ice tussle, one was completely covered in blood.

The wild scene all went down in the Rockford IceHogs' game against the Milwaukee Admirals in Illinois on Friday night ... when Mathieu Olivier got into it with Kurtis Gabriel in the first period.

The two opponents dropped their gloves, grabbed each other -- and then started throwing haymakers.

For about a minute, the guys punched the daylights out of each other, but at one point, Olivier got the upper hand, and opened up a gash on Gabriel ... and then kept swinging.

The fight was eventually broken up by refs ... but you can see in video of the clash, Gabriel's face was a mess following the tilt.

The dude's eye, hair, jersey and helmet were soaked in blood ... but somehow, it appeared he was able to stay in the game.

And, ultimately, Gabriel was able to get the last laugh on Olivier ... as the IceHogs ended up winning the game, 4-3, in a shootout.

Barack Obama I Caught the 'Rona ... But I Think I'm OK!!!

Barack Obama says he's contracted COVID-19 -- but the good news is that he's doing alright ... attributing that to the fact he's vaccinated.

The former President announced his status Sunday, writing ... "I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative."

He adds, "It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down."

BO is the second living president to have tested positive for the virus -- of course, Donald Trump caught it in 2020 (right in the thick of the pandemic) and seemed to be quite ill for a bit ... as he had to take a pause on campaigning to get treatment and to quarantine.

ABC

Luckily, Joe Biden hasn't contracted COVID himself -- neither has Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush or Bill Clinton, FWIW -- even though he was at a high risk of doing so due to Trump attending that September debate, at which point he'd reportedly already tested positive.

While it's pretty shocking to hear Barack is positive, it's not all that surprising or worrisome -- especially at this point in the pandemic ... when lots of people (including politicians) have also caught it, only to come back at 100% shortly thereafter.

We've seen fully-vaccinated senators and representatives announce their COVID breakthrough cases in recent months ... and just about every one of them kicked it quickly, attributing their mild to nonexistent symptoms to the jab.

Ditto for Barry ... get well soon!

WWE Star Scott Hall On Life Support ... Hip Surgery Complications

UPDATE

10:40 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has confirmed ... Scott is, indeed, on life support -- this according to sources familiar with the situation.

Scott Hall -- one of WWE's biggest superstars from the 20th century -- is reportedly on life support ... this after major surgery complications.

The news was reported Sunday by PW Torch, which says Hall is clinging to life at a hospital in Georgia ... following a procedure to work on his broken hip. According to the outlet, SH suffered three heart attacks Saturday night.

PWT reports the heart attacks come on the heels of his hip surgery last week, which they say caused a complication when a blood clot got loose in the midst of operating.

Hall is one of the bona fide living legends of pro wrestling still active today. He rose to prominence in the '90s through the WWF playing the character Razor Ramon ... and then went on to assume his actual name in the WCW.

He's also one of the founding members of the wrestling stable New World Order (nWo) ... alongside Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash -- who portrayed themselves as wrestling outcasts looking to take the sport over in street gang, tough-guy fashion.

Hall is a multi-time champ -- he's won multiple titles with the WCW, including several tag team championships, and at least four with WWF. He's also competed in multiple WrestleMania events over the years ... and was even due to appear at this year's showdown.

Despite stepping away from WWE in the early 2000s, he continued to wrestle professionally until about 2010, at which point he semi-retired ... but still stayed active within WWE. He was inducted into their Hall of Fame twice ... once as a solo act in 2014 and again as a new member in 2020.

Prayers up for Scott ... get well soon, man. 👏🏽
