2021 Halloween Celebs Celebrate Hard in Hollywood!!!

Big Halloween night Friday in Hollywood ... big stars, fun costumes and lots of parties.

Leonardo DiCaprio showed up to Nicolas Berggruen's Bev Hills bash at "The Beverly Estate" lookin' like Andy Warhol. Drake, on the other hand, just came as himself.

And, this is interesting ... with all the Facebook drama, guess who also showed up -- the Winklevoss bros!!! They're dressed as outta-this-world astronauts. And, Olivia Jade and sis, Isabella, showed up in "Black Swan" costumes, although they sure missed an opportunity, right? Rowers would have been awesome!!!

Beck showed up as a cowboy, and Simon Rex got into a "Top Gun" getup at another party deep in the Hollywood Hills. "13 Reasons Why" actor, Ross Butler, kept things honest as the sheriff.

And, now let's go to The Reserve in Downtown L.A., where Rich the Kid took on a Michael Myers look and Austin Mahone wore the we-knew-someone-would-wear-it tracksuit.

'Hocus Pocus' Star Omri Katz I Haven't Been Asked Back For Sequel

READY AND WILLING
TMZ.com

The upcoming "Hocus Pocus" sequel sounds like it won't feature at least one of the original stars ... because Omri Katz says his phone has been bone-dry in regards to a potential return.

Omri, who played Max Dennison in the Disney cult classic, tells TMZ ... he hasn't been approached about being involved in "Hocus Pocus 2," even though he would be open to bringing back his character in some fashion.

While Omri says it would be great for the fans to have him and some of the other OG cast members make an appearance ... so far, only the witches -- Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy -- are known to be coming back for seconds.

Omri also tells us he remains close with his "Hocus Pocus" family ... hanging out with Thora Birch (Dani Dennison) and Vinessa Shaw (Allison), usually during spooky season when the film is most popular.

Filming on 'HP2' is already underway and the movie is scheduled for a release next October on Disney+, but Omri says his main concern is getting a marijuana business, The Mary Danksters, up and running.

Green magic, anyone?!!

TMZ'S HALLOWEEN 2021 Pop Culture, Music and More ... The Many Looks of Britney

After a Halloween away from the office, TMZ is back together in person for another spooktacular day ... sharing costumes and some scary good times!!!

It's definitely been the year of Britney, and lots of costumes in the office reflected the singer's many eras ... from "Toxic" to "Slave 4 U." There was also some politics, billionaires and even Kim K at The Met Gala mixed in.

Jake Paul, Jeff Bezos, AOC, Run-D.M.C., Dog the Bounty Hunter, Kanye West, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo and Bernie Sanders were all fair game ... and it wouldn't be Halloween 2021 without a 'Squid Game' costume.

Halloween falls on a weekend this year, so be sure to check the website for plenty more celeb looks, haunted parties and holiday treats.

Happy Halloween folks ... stay warm out there!!!

Robert Woods Cops 'Freddy Vs. Jason' Cleats ... For Halloween Game

Halloween falling on an NFL Sunday doesn't happen often ... so Robert Woods made sure to take advantage of the occasion -- by coppin' awesome "'Freddy Vs. Jason" movie cleats!

TMZ Sports has learned the L.A. Rams receiver wanted to make sure he was all set with some scary cleats for the spooky holiday ... so he hit up his go-to artist, Joe Castro, to get the spikes done for his game against the Texans.

The 29-year-old decided to go with the 2003 horror film, "Freddy Vs. Jason" ... and Castro delivered.

You can see the pieces came out awesome ... they feature Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger on the side of the Nike cleats ... with a splash of blood painted on them too.

Castro tells us it took 7 hours to create the hockey-masked slasher and the bladed-glove slayer pieces ... and there's a good chance you'll see Woods wearing 'em during pregame warmups Sunday.

FYI, the last time Halloween fell on an NFL Sunday was 2010 -- so enjoy the rare opportunity for football AND trick-or-treating!!

'The Nun' 'Memba Her?!

Eerie actor Bonnie Aarons had the world saying their prayers after she took on the role as the demon, Valak -- who takes the form of a terrifying nun and exercises evil to attack paranormal pros -- in the 2016 freaky film, "The Conjuring 2" ... and the 2018 holy spinoff film "The Nun."

Bonnie shared the scary big screen with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as the on-screen version of the paranormal couple Ed and Lorraine Warren.

She can also be spotted in "The Princess Diaries" and "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" as Baroness Joy Von Troken.

Guess what she looks like now without the spooky makeup and horrific habit.

Mitt Romney Ted Lasso For Halloween ... Quotes 'Friday Night Lights'

Mitt Romney transformed into lovable soccer coach Ted Lasso for Halloween ... but the Utah senator might have gotten his fictional characters mixed up in the process, 'cause he used a quote from "Friday Night Lights" to show off his look.

The Republican out of Utah sported some AFC Richmond gear, a nice pair of khakis and a 'stache to resemble Jason Sudeikis' character in the Apple TV show ... posting several shots via Twitter on Thursday.

Senator Kyrsten Sinema joined in on the fun, too ... playing team owner Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham's role) as Romney hands her his daily delicious biscuit.

Romney shares one of Ted's best Lassoisms ... saying, "Your body is like day-old rice. If it ain't warmed up properly, something real bad could happen."

He also shared some non-Lassoisms ... saying, "If you believe in yourself, and have clear eyes and full hearts -- you can’t lose" ... which is actually a line delivered by coach Eric Taylor in 'FNL.'

Now, there are a few reasonable explanations here -- whoever runs Romney's social team may not have seen "Ted Lasso" yet and didn't do much research before sending out the tweet ... or maybe Romney himself hasn't tuned in and was just taking a shot in the dark.

Either way, it's a solid swing and a miss from Mitt ... but good job, good effort. Now be like a goldfish and forget about it.

LeBron James Goes All Out For Zhuri's Movie Night ... Full Backyard Theatre!!!

Sorry, AMC ... LeBron James didn't need a movie theatre giant for his daughter's Halloween night, 'cause he built his own setup Wednesday -- and it was AWESOME!!

The King put together a massive projector and a bunch of comfy seats for Zhuri and her friends to enjoy the new Addams Family flick, and the youngest James loved it all.

The 7-year-old took to IG to show off the structure on the James mansion's back lawn ... revealing balloons, snacks, "Addams Family Values 2" blankets and much more.

"Since Halloween is coming up," Zhuri said, "my parents let me and some of my friends have a movie night in the backyard 🍿🎬!"

She added, "We streamed The Addams Family 2 movie and it was pretty funny!"

The fun night was just the latest good evening for Zhuri ... 'cause it was her birthday less than a week ago, and you know LBJ went all out for that occasion too.

In fact, Bron posted a mushy note to his baby girl for the special day, saying, "You’re seriously one of a kind!"

"Never a down, dull, stale moment when you’re around. You excite/ignite a whole room simply by yourself! ENERGY UNMATCHED! I LOVE YOU ♾ & BEYOND my ❤️"

Halloween, 2021 'Squid Game' Costumes Banned ... At Some New York Elementary Schools

WARNING TO CERTAIN KIDS: LEAVE YOUR TRACK SUITS AND SLIP-ON VANS AT HOME THIS HALLOWEEN!!!

Three elementary schools near Syracuse are banning "Squid Game" costumes this week, because they say it sends a message of violence to impressionable students.

The principals justify the prohibition because of what they call "the potential violent message aligned with the costume."

Parents from the 3 schools received emails saying, "We have observed some students at recess have been playing a version of [Squid Games] ... which is intended for mature audiences ages 16 and older. Due to concerns about the potential violent nature of the game, it is inappropriate for recess play or discussion at school" ... this according to WSTM, which obtained the emails.

The Superintendent of the school district, Craig Tice, told the Washington Post, "Because of this activity our principals wanted to make sure our families are aware that it would be inappropriate for any student to wear to school a Halloween costume from this show."

BTW ... "Squid Game" costumes are topping the list of Halloween getups ... at least on Insta.

As you know, "Squid Game" showcases children's games, like tug of war and red light/green light ... thing is, the losers get whacked.

Guess Who This Witchy Girl Turned Into!

Before this pint-sized sorceress was enchanting audiences with her powerful performances in film, she was just another costumed kid trying to give you a scare in Brooklyn, New York.

This spooky sweetie is usually not the villain of her storylines ... she's best known for playing many royal characters, one princess part even launched her career. She dreamed a dream and it led to her beautiful singing voice winning her numerous awards, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Now, she's gone back to her runt roots and just recently starred in an HBO movie casting devious spells.

Can you guess who she is?

Halloween 2021 Celebs In The Spooky Spirit

It's not quite Halloween yet, but that hasn't stopped Hollywood from getting into the spirit early ... showing off elaborate costumes, some solo, some in groups, and some paying tribute to their early acting days.

Celebs from 'Housewives' stars Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton -- who went as circus ringmasters and medical pros -- to Jason Biggs and his wife, who took the more traditional vampire route have already posted pics of their costumes.

However, it's Drew Barrymore who paid homage to her "Scream" roots, dressing up as her character, Casey Becker, from the horror classic ... complete with Ghostface.

Among some of the other notable getups -- Olympian Ryan Lochte and his crew went as the Addams Family, Charli D'Amelio as Charlie Brown and Travis Barker with Kourtney Kardashian as Sid and Nancy.

The holiday is quickly approaching, so expect a lot more looks, both elaborate and not, to pop up on social media and at A-list parties across the country ... cuz if there's one thing celebs love, it's playing pretend.

Michael Myers Alleged Homophobe ... For Killing Gay Dudes in 'Halloween Kills'

Psychopathic serial killer Michael Myers might have more issues than just his penchant for murder -- apparently, the internet is gravely concerned about his bigotry against gay people.

This is actually a thing ... the latest iteration of the masked madman is being accused by some Twitter truthers of being homophobic for offing a same-sex couple in the new "Halloween Kills" movie ... which just came out about a week or so ago.

Granted, some of these tweets were likely done in jest, but it's hard to tell who means what. Point is, people have written the words -- which is sorta outrageous in and of itself.

One person jokingly writes, "HALLOWEEN KILLS WAS SO GOOD BUT WHY DID MICHAEL HAVE TO KILL THE ONE GAY COUPLE... MICHAEL MYERS IS HOMOPHOBIC CONFIRMED."

If you haven't seen it yet ... there's a middle-aged gay couple depicted for a good portion of the flick who are now living in Myers' childhood home. He eventually breaks in and murks 'em both, in pretty brutal fashion too. In the end, MM lays their bodies next to each other.

While many appreciated the representation, others appear to have been offended by these two guys being among the body count. There've also been a few articles and op-eds written on the matter -- and despite most who acknowledge it as silly ... some are pointing out "The Shape" may, in fact, not be as progressive as some of his counterparts.

Take Chucky the killer doll, for example, who's got a new series out where he acknowledges a "child" of his who's gender fluid (yes, that's Canon). Many in the LGBT community praised the showrunners for including it in the storyline, and for Chucky showing empathy to it.

By that rationale, some feel Myers could be a little more open-minded as to whom he targets ... but frankly, he's an equal opportunity slasher, as proven in the movie itself.

Dude literally kills everyone in his path -- Black people, gay people, young and old ... and any gender. He even executes first-responders -- also seen in the film -- which is something that was also in debate of late, and addressed by the man behind the mask himself.

A group he *seems* to spare no matter what ... young children/babies -- Mike usually never touches 'em. That's where his line is ... but everyone else is fair game.

Guess Who This Pumpkin Pip-Squeak Turned Into!

Before this gourd-eous girl was stirring up spells in a popular television show, she was just another pumpkin pip-squeak getting ready for Halloween in Geneva, Switzerland.

Now, you can hear her reimagining the classic character of April O'Neil on "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," an animated Nickelodeon television series and movie!
