Chris Brown Turns Himself In
TMZ can confirm that Chris Brown just entered an LAPD station, where he turned himself in to police.
Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A. Police officials said earlier today they may arrest Brown when they find him. Well, now they know where he is.
According to the female victim -- who cops refuse to identify -- she and Chris got into an argument which turned violent. Cops say when they arrived at the scene, Brown had split, but the woman had "visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."
Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night, attending Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party -- and both canceled their scheduled performances at tonight's event.

Usher Cancels Gig Over "Serious Family Injury"
A family emergency caused Usher to 86 his performance at a pre-Grammy party last night -- and one report claims it's because his wife is in trouble after having cosmetic surgery.
Music bigwig Clive Davis announced at his Pre-Grammy Bash that Usher's cancellation was due to a "serious injury in the family" -- and according to Access Hollywood, his wife Tameka had "experienced complications from plastic surgery" in Brazil.
Access claims a neurosurgeon is on the way to South America to assist Tameka -- who gave birth to their second child back in December.

Grammy's Blow -- Or Not?!
TMZ has obtained a lawsuit over the Grammys -- a lawsuit in which a man claims he's not getting any from his wife anymore and he wants someone to pay.
The man claims he's been denied access to the "services" of his wife after a Jumbotron monitor fell from the ceiling and crushed his wife's neck at the 2006 Grammy Awards. That's gotta suck.
In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Nicola and Tom Galassi claim that the people operating the jumbo-sized video screen allowed one to drop in an uncontrolled manner, which allegedly struck several audience members, Nicola among them. Heads up! As a result, Nicola claims, she sustained severe and permanant injuries, including ruptured cervical discs, traumatic brain injury, neck and shoulder pain, and of course, mental and emotional distress.
So, why is her husband, who wasn't hit by the Jumbotron, suing? According to the suit, Tom claims he's lost the love affection -- and more importantly -- the "services" of his wife. Guess he'll just have to service himself instead.
After Grammys, Madonna Gets Hernia Surgery
Madonna may have gyrated like a 20-year-old at the Grammy Awards, but her body felt the brunt of it later.
Following last week's high-octane performance, Madonna had hernia surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The 47-year-old singer appeared "pale and had no appetite" after the surgery. At the Los Angeles Kabbalah Center on Feb. 10, she did not eat or lead the after-dinner prayer as she usually does when there. Husband Guy Ritchie was absent, the Post reported.
"Whatever was commented on in the New York Post is what we're confirming," Briele Douglass said Thursday. She is an assistant to Madonna's publicist.
Last summer, a horse accident in London left Madonna with a broken collarbone and three cracked ribs.
U2 Upstages Mariah With Five Grammys
The Grammys finally showed Mariah Carey a little love - with an emphasis on "little."
Though Carey, 2005's biggest pop success, had a leading eight nominations and the chance to make history with the most Grammys won by a woman in a single night, she went home with just three trophies Wednesday. She lost in all of the major categories she was nominated for, including record, song and album of the year.
Instead, U2 got the glory, as the perennial favorites captured five Grammy awards for "How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb," including album of the year.
"We have to go through certain things in order to appreciate life and learn lessons," Carey told the TV show "Extra." Asked how she was doing, Carey replied, "I'm just in a really good, comfortable, happy place."
It was the second time U2 had won for best album since 1987, when it won for "The Joshua Tree." It was their 20th Grammy and the eighth for the album, which was released in late 2004 and also won three last year.
Grammy Recap
Mariah Carey Wins Three Awards in Early Pre-Telecast
Mariah Carey was making up for lost Grammys Wednesday night, winning three trophies in the early going.
In the 16 years since Mariah Carey won the best new artist Grammy in 1990, she has more than lived up to the award's promise as one of the most successful recording artists in history. Yet despite a slew of blockbuster albums and megahit singles, her Grammy total never increased.
That finally changed Wednesday. She won three in the pre-telecast ceremony and had the opportunity to win four more, which means she could make history as the first female artist to win six or more in a single evening. (Norah Jones, Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill each won five.)
On the red carpet (which was actually green), suavely suited rappers mingled with ripped-jeans rockers. Cheers went up from fans every time anyone, recognizable or not, walked by.
One of the early arrivals was India.Arie, nominated for a Grammy with Stevie Wonder for pop collaboration with vocals on Wonder's "A Time to Love."
Chris Brown, Omarion & John Legend
As the Grammys loom, 'EXTRA' caught up with some of the biggest names in music.
Chris Brown got a little wild (see video).
Last but not least, John Legend, nominated for eight Grammys, gave a rare interview (see video).
Madonna and Gorillaz to Open the Grammys
The Grammy Awards will open with a meeting of the Material Girl and the virtual world.
Madonna and the Gorillaz will perform together for the first time at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be presented Wednesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The 47-year-old pop star will sing with the Gorillaz, who will be appearing in 3-D animated color. The brainchild of Blur frontman Damon Albarn, the Gorillaz are a melding of rock and hip-hop that represents band members as cartoon alter-egos created by animator Jamie Hewlett.
Paul McCartney has been added to the list of performers, the Recording Academy announced Thursday, who also include Mariah Carey, John Legend, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, U2 with Mary J. Blige, Coldplay, Faith Hill with Keith Urban, Sugarland and Jamie Foxx.
It will be McCartney's first ever performance at the Grammys, the Academy said. This year, he is nominated for three awards, including album of the year for "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard."
The Gorillaz are nominated for four Grammys, including record of the year for "Feel Good Inc.," which features De La Soul.
Madonna, who has won five Grammys, released "Confessions on a Dance Floor" in November. She is not nominated this year.
The Grammys will be broadcast by CBS on Wednesday (8 p.m. EST).

And The Winner Is... Rick Moranis?
Grammy-winning artist isn't the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Bill Clinton. He and his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, are just two of many unlikely celebrities who have won Grammys. Others who could join the Grammy winner's circle include Sean Penn and Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who were each nominated this year for best spoken word album.
If they speak, they could be nominated. Spoken-word albums are most likely to produce an eclectic group of celebrity Grammy winners. Bill Clinton has two spoken-word Grammys; Hillary has one. Bill and Hillary were even nominated in the same year, although in different categories. Bill's most recent Grammy is for the 2004 spoken-word album of his memoir, 'My Life,' and he shares his other Grammy (the 2003 award for best spoken word album for children) with Sophia Loren and former Soviet Union chief Mikhail Gorbachev. Hillary won a Grammy for 1996's 'It Takes a Village.' She received a best spoken-word album nomination for her 2003 autobiography, 'Living History,' but lost to comedian/political commentator Al Franken.
