Dwyane Wade Courtside Golf Lesson From Tony Finau ... At Jazz Game
Dwyane Wade was able to mix in a little golf practice with work Wednesday ... snagging a courtside lesson from PGA Tour star Tony Finau as he watched his Jazz play!!
Utah's new part-owner was taking in the Jazz game against OKC, when at one point during the contest, he turned to Finau to pick his brain about golf.
Love to see it… Lesson: Always be in learning mode. @tonyfinaugolf @PGATOUR @DwyaneWade pic.twitter.com/CkEUrgLMHP
— Ryan Smith (@RyanQualtrics) October 21, 2021 @RyanQualtrics
Cameras in the arena caught Tony giving Wade tips on how to work his hands before striking the ball ... and it seems Dwyane was receptive to the tutoring.
The broadcast announcers knew exactly what was going on, too ... making the scene even funnier.
"That's a free lesson," one said with a laugh.
Of course, the impromptu drills shouldn't surprise anybody ... Dwyane's been an avid golfer since retiring from the Association, and he's been spotted on courses often.
In fact, back in February, he got a 1-on-1 lesson from Tiger Woods ... one in which El Tigre taught him how to line up, tee up his ball and swing closer to his body.
No word on how Wade's scoring on the course these days ... but his Jazz did get the win over the Thunder on Wednesday -- so at least the hoops aspect of his life is still going well.

A golf fan had to spend a day in the hospital with a bloody head injury over the weekend ... and it's all 'cause Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama couldn't keep a drive straight.
Here's the deal ... Matsuyama was competing in the 2021 Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas -- when on the 16th hole of his second round on Friday, he cranked a drive that went way right.
You can see in footage of the shot, it was so far from the fairway, it accidentally crash-landed into a fan's noggin -- knocking the guy to the ground.
Robert, the fan who was hit, tells TMZ Sports he was a bloody mess after the ball drilled him ... and felt "weird" and "totally disorientated."
I was standing next to this guy when he got hit in the head by Matsuyama’s 300 yard drive. He took it like a champ! Hideki signed a hat and glove for him. The guy told Hideki not to worry about it and continue playing golf. The medics arrived shortly after. pic.twitter.com/QxY6NS2cLG
— Britton Green (@BrittonGreen3) October 9, 2021 @BrittonGreen3
Robert says while he was trying to recover, Matsuyama was nice enough to sign an autograph for him and apologize -- but the injury was so bad, Robert was eventually taken to the hospital.
Robert tells us he needed 6 stitches to close the wound, and you can see in photos of the aftermath -- the whole thing was gruesome.
Robert -- who says PGA Tour officials have not reached out to him over the incident -- has since started a GoFundMe to help with his medical bills, believing it could cost him in the $15,000 range.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
As for Matsuyama -- who won the Masters in April -- he finished the tournament in Vegas tied for 67th with a score of 4-under.

Images from the scene show Smith was clearly in some pain -- he rubbed his foot/ankle area repeatedly -- and he ultimately required assistance from on-site medics.

Smith, per Bunder, let other groups play ahead of him while he received the medical care.
Smith's scorecard shows he was able to return to action, though, finishing the 12th hole with a double bogey. He then rebounded to card a par on the ensuing Par 4 13th.
So far, Smith is 2-over through his first four holes of his final round.
As we reported, Smith didn't have the best start to his first tourney with North Carolina A&T ... logging scores of 78 and 83 in his first two rounds. He's currently in 81st place.

Look, there was no way the former All-Star was going to come in and wreck the competition, but the fact he's even out there doing his thing is pretty awesome ... and he looked damn good, too.
Smith will be able to work on his score during the second round of competition -- which got underway -- and we'll be keeping an eye out to see what he does on the links!!
Big shout-out to Smith for putting in the work and getting this far.

Tiger Woods is off crutches and walking without a limp ... new video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.
The golf legend was out in Port St. Lucie, FL. watching his son, Charlie, play in a junior tournament Sunday ... and Woods was moving around the course without much issue at all.
A witness tells us Tiger -- who is still wearing a sleeve on his surgically repaired right leg -- was in great spirits, alternating between walking holes and riding around in a golf cart for others.
We're told Tiger was speaking with fans throughout the tournament ... thanking them for encouraging words while he was following Charlie around the track.
Of course, the images are a very positive sign for Woods ... considering they're the first time since his Feb. 2021 accident that he's been seen without any sort of walking aid.
As we previously reported, Woods horrifically injured his leg in a rollover car crash in Los Angeles ... suffering comminuted open fractures that required a rod, screws and pins to fix.
As late as July, Woods was still using crutches to help get around.
No word on where exactly Tiger is in his rehab process and when he'll try to swing a golf club again -- but it's clear, he's making significant strides toward potentially competing on the course again.

Spiranac was teeing off with Player at the Berenberg Invitational in Bedford Hills, NY on Monday ... when she put a sweet swing on an iron on the Par 3 14th hole at GlenArbor Golf Club.

This is INCREDIBLE!!
Jordan Spieth almost sent himself into Lake Michigan on the 17th hole at the Ryder Cup on Friday ... but somehow managed to land an insane recovery shot in the process!!
It all went down during the first day of Ryder Cup action at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin ... when Spieth was facing a tough shot in thick grass and couldn't even see the pin.
But, the 28-year-old took his best swing, lost his balance and started tumbling towards the water.
The dude managed to stay on his feet the whole time, but it definitely required some quick thinking as he navigated through the steep terrain.
Jordan Spieth ... are you kidding me? pic.twitter.com/sPYujfZY7C
— Barrett Sallee (@BarrettSallee) September 24, 2021 @BarrettSallee
But, the best part?? Spieth was so busy trying to stay dry that he didn't see his shot land about 10 feet from the hole!!
It was a remarkable effort from the 28-year-old ... but unfortunately, it didn't help Team USA win the hole ... as Justin Thomas ended up missing the putt.
Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia won the hole and the match for Team Europe ... but man, what a helluva moment for Spieth.
Congrats on the shot ... AND for not having to be fished outta the lake.

Donald Trump Shades Joe Biden On Golf Course ... He Can't Outdrive Me!!!
Donald Trump just can't stop taking shots at Joe Biden ... this time he shaded the current POTUS out on the golf course, saying there's no way in hell #46 could outdrive him.
Donald threw the jabs after smashing a drive on a tee box in front a crowd of golfers ... saying, "You think Biden can hit a ball like that?!"
"He couldn't get it passed the first tee!"
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The onlooking golfers loved the remarks ... cheering on Donald as he got back into his golf cart to set up for his second shot.
Of course, clowning Biden is nothing new for Trump, who also took a dig at the President during a boxing match news conference earlier this month.
At that event -- a pre-fight media sesh for the Vitor Belfort vs. Evander Holyfield clash -- Trump said he'd want to box Biden because he knows it'd be an easy victory.
"I think he'd go down very, very quickly," Donald said. "Very, very quickly."
Obviously, there's no chance a physical fight between the two ever comes to fruition ... but a long-drive contest on the golf range? Someone make that happen!

Tiger Woods is gunning to eventually come back to the golf course ... so says his pal Steve Stricker, who said Wednesday the legend is rehabbing with the intent of playing again.
Stricker -- the captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup team this year -- made the revelation during a chat with Dennis Paulson and Carl Paulson, explaining El Tigre has been making strides toward picking up his clubs again.
"I've talked to Tiger a lot," Stricker said. "He's a part of this Ryder Cup family. He won't be able to be a captain's assistant this time around just because of his ongoing rehabilitation to try to get better and to try to play golf again, and that is going well."

Stricker added, "[Tiger] is progressing. He's doing well, things are moving in the right direction."
Many have doubted Woods would ever compete in a golf tournament again after he suffered horrific leg injuries during a car crash last February.
The 45-year-old shattered and broke bones in his right leg -- needing a rod, screws and pins to fix the damage -- and he was still on crutches and moving gingerly as of July.
Stricker, though, made it clear Wednesday that Tiger is hoping to play again ... and has still been very involved in the Ryder Cup process.
"He's very passionate about this," Stricker said of Woods. "We've had a number of talks."

Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy ain't fazed by going up against a 4-time major winner on Tuesday ... telling TMZ Sports he's gonna whoop golf superstar Brooks Koepka's ass on the links -- for charity!!!
El Pres is facing off against Brooks (who will be playing left-handed) in a $250,000 match on September 7 ... with the winner getting the huge chunk of change sent to the cause of their choice.

Dave says he's been crushing it on the course leading up to the competition ... and is fully preparing to live rent-free in Koepka's head.

PGA Tour Bans Fans From Shouting 'Brooksy' ... At Bryson DeChambeau
-
Breaking News
Golf fans will now have to find a new way to troll Bryson DeChambeau ... 'cause the PGA Tour just announced it will no longer allow fans to shout "Brooksy" at the star golfer.
At various tournaments throughout the past year, fans have ribbed Bryson with the jeer ... and he's hated it -- snapping at patrons nearly every time.
Of course, the shade is a nod to Bryson's beef with fellow golf star Brooks Koepka -- and it's something Koepka fans have gotten plenty of joy out of the last few months.
But, PGA Tour commish Jay Monahan said Tuesday the taunts will no longer be allowed ... calling the "Brooksy" remarks "disrespectful."
"The barometer that we are all using is the word 'respect,'" Monahan told reporters. "And to me, when you hear 'Brooksy' yelled or you hear any expression yelled, the question is, is that respectful or disrespectful?"
"It has been going on for an extended period of time, and to me, at this point, it's disrespectful. And that's the kind of behavior we're not going to tolerate going forward."
Monahan said the "Brooksy" comments -- and any other acts deemed disrespectful by fans -- will now result in a ban from events.
It's got to be refreshing for Bryson to hear ... 'cause just a few days ago, he reportedly told one fan to "Get the f*** out!" after the person had screamed "Great job, Brooksy!" at him.
Dude's been pretty good despite it all -- so, begs the question ... could the ban now lead to even better performances from the superstar going forward??
Stay tuned ...
