The man who claims he was attacked by Draymond Green has already lawyered up -- and says he's demanding justice for the "unprovoked, unnecessary attack" that changed his life forever.

Attorney Corey Minor Smith says she's officially representing Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson -- who claims the NBA star attacked him outside of a bar early Sunday morning.

"My client is a student-athlete who was punched and assaulted by Mr. Green in an unprovoked, unnecessary attack," Smith said.

"His life has been forever altered by the events of that weekend."

Smith says 22-year-old Edmondson is "fully cooperating with the authorities investigating this unfortunate situation" and welcomes a "full and thorough investigation."

TMZ Sports has obtained Draymond Green's mug shot -- showing the NBA star smiling while wearing an "Attack the Glass" shirt ... after allegedly hitting a Michigan State football player.

Draymond Green was getting the business from a guy outside a bar when he finally had enough and allegedly struck the guy ... according to witnesses.

NBA superstar Draymond Green was arrested for assault early Sunday morning in East Lansing, Michigan.

Even with Kevin Durant, the Golden State Warriors have a big problem ... as in, their lack of size will definitely be a factor ... so says Pistons superstar Andre Drummond.

We got AD out at 1 OAK Tuesday night -- and he explained that he meant no disrespect to Golden State when he pointed out the issue on Twitter ... but says facts are facts.

"I wasn't talking trash ... it's simple math."

Overall, Drummond says the Warriors are in GREAT shape -- and he praised Durant for the way he announced he was leaving OKC.

Could David Lee return to the Golden State Warriors and join Kevin Durant on one of most dominant teams ever assembled (on paper)? Seems like a real possibility ... based on what Lee said Monday night.

Lee was leaving the big 4th of July party at Nobu in Malibu when we asked about rumors that he might take a pay cut to reunite with Steph Curry and company.

"We're still trying to figure it out," the 33-year-old former All-Star told us.

"Everything goes from what K.D. did and that kind of sets the table for the rest of the league."

Of course, Lee won a championship with the Warriors back in 2015 ... and was a fan favorite for most of his time in the Bay.

Lee didn't make any promises -- but he didn't slam the door on a reunion either.

The 21-year-old fan who was pushed off an upper level deck at Oracle Arena during Game 7 of the NBA Finals is in intensive care and fighting for his life ... this according to his father.

The victim is Salvator Bimbo -- a Golden State Warriors fan who traveled from L.A. to see the game with his brother.

Bimbo's father says a fight broke out at the game and a rival fan grabbed Salvator by the legs and pushed him over a railing.

"My son’s cheekbone is smashed, his nose, his upper-eye, his head, his brain,” Salvator's father told KRON4.com.

"He’s leaking from his ears blood. Not very good. He’s a beautiful young man. Did not deserve this.”

Salvator's family started a GoFundMe page to help with medical costs. They're also begging anyone with information about the suspects to come forward.

So far, no arrests have been made.

It might be time for Steph Curry to have a Twitter boundaries talk with wife -- at least according to NFL safety Dashon Goldson who says that's what he would do if his lady pulled an Ayesha.

Dashon -- who spent 9 years in the NFL -- says he likes that Ayesha does her thing on social media ... but if he was in Steph's shoes, he'd try to explain why calling out the NBA is a HUGE distraction during the NBA playoffs.

BTW, Goldson was leaving Barney's in Bev Hills where he dropped $5k on his dad for Father's Day, which is THIS SUNDAY.

The NBA has hit Steph Curry with a $25,000 fine for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands -- hitting a fan -- during Game 6 of the NBA Finals ... but it appears he will NOT be suspended.

The NBA's office just issued a statement saying, "Curry has been fined $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece into the spectator stands."

"The incident, which resulted in a technical foul and subsequent ejection for Curry, occurred with 4:22 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ 115-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers during Game 6 of The Finals on June 16 at Quicken Loans Arena."

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was also hit with a heavy fine.

"Kerr has been fined $25,000 for public criticism of the officiating during his press conference following the same game."

Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha, claim her father was "profiled" and "almost arrested" by NBA security at Game 6 in Cleveland Thursday night ... in a case of mistaken identity.

Ayesha first went public about the situation after the game -- tweeting, "Police racial profiled my father and told him to remove credentials and tried to arrest him."

Steph echoed her comments to ESPN on his way out of the stadium -- after the Warriors lost to the Cavs.

But NBA security says it can explain ... telling ESPN Ayesha's father bared a resemblance to a con artist named David Aminzadeh who had been using fake credentials to sneak into major sporting events.

Security spoke with Ayesha's dad -- and eventually determined he was NOT Aminzadeh.

Draymond Green was asked to throw out the first pitch at Monday's Oakland A's game -- but respectfully declined ... this according to a rep for the A's.

With the Golden State Warriors star serving a 1 game suspension -- and unable to be in the arena for Game 5 of the NBA Finals -- Green said he would be attending the A's game, located right next to Oracle Arena.

TMZ Sports spoke with A's Director of Corporate Communications, Catherine Aker, who confirmed Green will be in the stadium ... but doesn't want to make a spectacle.

"We extended an invitation to Draymond to throw out the first pitch and he declined. He would prefer to keep a low profile while at our game."

That smoke show of a Warriors fan who gave Steph Curry the sex face during game 2 of the NBA Finals is back -- and she's sitting IN FRONT of Steph's wife.

Yes, Instagram model Roni Rose has found herself courtside in Cleveland for game 4, while Ayesha Curry is almost directly behind her ... 2 rows back.

This creates an issue for Steph: How the hell can he look up at Ayesha AND keep Rose out of his line of sight at the same damn time??

It's a hip-hop match made in Warriors heaven ... E-40 tells TMZ Sports he's ALL ABOUT teaming up with fellow Golden State superfan MC Hammer for a new hip-hop track -- and hopes to release it in the next year.

The legendary rapper joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV Show (airs tonight on FS1) to talk about Golden State's Game 1 thrashing ... when he told us about his long-standing friendship with Hammer.

So, when we asked if there would be a collab anytime soon, E-40 was ALL ABOUT IT -- saying, "The chances are for real for real ... we gotta put that in motion."

Draymond Green was feelin' goooood after clinching win #73 Wednesday night ... keeping the party train rollin' at a Bay Area nightclub until 2 AM ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

Green -- along with Golden State Warriors rookie Kevon Looney -- hit up Pure Lounge around 12:30 AM and partied with some pretty pumped up GS fans until the place closed.

The people at Pure went all out for Draymond ... breaking out bottles of booze, confetti and hot chicks in sexy Warriors uniforms.
