Cory Monteith Cops Called to Bust Up House Party
"Glee" star Cory Monteith threw a loud birthday party for one of his friends last night -- so loud, in fact, that neighbors called the cops to have it shut down ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ cops were called to Monteith's Hollywood Hills home at 4:30 AM because neighbors were complaining about the noise level.
We're told cops spoke to Monteith and his roommate, who were both extremely nice to the officers.
In the end, we're told Corey agreed to shut off the music and end the party -- which was also attended by other cast members from "Glee" -- but not before cops gave Corey's roommate a ticket for the loud music.
No word on if any of the music in question were mash-ups of popular 90s songs.
'Glee' Star Bruising Photo to Help Domestic Violence Victims
It seems ironic ... but the brutal photo of "Glee" star Heather Morris sporting a fake black eye will be auctioned off soon ... and all of the proceeds will go towards a domestic violence charity ... TMZ has learned.
The photo ignited a major controversy when it was released on the Internet a few days ago -- with some critics saying it glamorizes violence against women.
But Tyler Shields, the photog behind the shot, tells us that was NOT the intention -- and he's sorry it came off that way.
Shields says ... to make up for the controversy, he'll be auctioning off the photo, starting at $100k, and will donate every single cent he makes to a top domestic violence charity.
Forgiven??

'Glee' Suit -- You Screwed Me On the Back End
The man who claims he was critical in developing "Glee" is suing co-creator Ian Brennan, claiming Brennan betrayed him by refusing to honor an agreement they made.
Michael Novick, a producer on "Glee," claims his former good friend Ian Brennan developed a concept for "Glee" as a screenplay for a movie -- about a high school glee club. Novick and Brennan agreed to work as a team to sell the project.
Novick worked out at a gym in West Hollywood, the same place where Ryan Murphy worked out. Novick talked to Murphy -- a successful show runner -- about the project at the gym, and Murphy loved it, saying it would make an even better TV show.
According to the suit, Murphy pitched the show to Fox, but the negotiations hit a snag. Novick wanted to drive a hard bargain, but Brennan convinced him to back off and accept a lower fee and credit.
According to the lawsuit, Brennan promised Novick -- in exchange for accepting the lesser credit and money -- he would give Novick 15% of any back-end compensation Brennan would receive.
Of course, since there's a lawsuit, that didn't work out too well.
Novick is suing for unspecified damages.

Kissing Model -- Don't Blame Me for 'Glee' Star Split
One of the models who kissed "Glee" star Dianna Agron's boyfriend for a professional photo shoot says she shouldn't be blamed for the break up because the kiss was "nothing more than art."
TMZ broke the story -- Agron broke things off with "I Am Number 4" star Alex Pettyfer because of an artsy photo shoot that surfaced featuring the actor making out with Lydia Hearst and another female model ... even though the pics were taken BEFORE Alex and Dianna began dating.
Now, Lydia tells us ... "I can't help but laugh because it is nothing more than art, and it is beyond ridiculous that anyone would be upset about it.”
Lydia -- daughter of famous socialite turned bank robber turned actress Patty Hearst -- adds, “It was a kiss from over a year ago ... it's time to move on."

'Number Four' Star -- GF Was Pissed Over Photo Shoot
"I Am Number Four" star Alex Pettyfer's ex-GF split with him over a risque photo shoot he did with two half-naked models -- but here's the rub ... the shoot occurred MONTHS before they even started dating.
Sources close to the ex-couple tell TMZ, "Glee" star Dianna Agron ended the relationship soon after the pictures were released a couple weeks ago ... in which Alex appears barely clothed with models Lydia Hearst and Leven Rambin.
Problem is -- Alex and Dianna started dating last August ... and he shot the pics over a year ago ... back when he was a single man. Dianna's rep wouldn't comment on the story.
Kids these days.
Barbra Streisand -- I Didn't Mean to Diss 'Glee'
Barbra Streisand says she misspoke when she said would never appear on "Glee" -- when the reality is she's really just too busy to do it.
Babs was honored Friday night at the Grammy's MusiCares event, during which she was asked if she would ever do "Glee" -- her answer was, "Not if I can help it." Ouch!
Streisand tells TMZ she didn't mean it the way it sounded, telling us, "When asked if I would ever appear on ‘Glee,' I should have said, 'Younever know.' It was wrong to say, 'Not if I can help it.'
She went on to clarify, "What I meantwas that I’ve been overwhelmed preparing for my performance onMusiCares, the Grammys, recording a new album, and starting a newmovie. So I couldn’t take on any more work, and besides that, I wasn’tasked."
So you're saying there's a chance ...

Glee Photo Shoot Draws Fire 'Borders on Pedophilia'
The producers of "Glee" are taking some serious heat over a sexually charged photo shoot involving three cast members -- with one powerful parents group saying the pictorial "borders on pedophilia."
The Parents Television Council has released a statement thrashing producers for allowing Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele to participate in a "hyper-sexualized" photo shoot for the November issue of GQ -- despite the fact that both actresses are 24 years old and Corey is 28.
The PTC declares, “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way. It borders on pedophilia."
The statement continues, "By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn’t good for families."
