Steve Aoki had a night full of ups and one down ... falling hard off the stage during his DJ set at a nightclub, before getting back up to continue.

Steve hit the floor (literally) Sunday night at DAER Nightclub in Hollywood, Florida. During his set, he fell really hard off the stage and landed on the ground ... but, he didn't stay down for long.

Moments later, he hops back up and goes back to work on the turntables. For the most part, he didn't seem too affected by the tumble ... bobbing his head and getting back in the zone.

At one point after the fall, he even puts on his boxing gloves and squares off with boxer Ryan Garcia ... and punches weren't the only things the guys ate on stage. Steve even threw a huge cake in Ryan's face, before they danced it all out, together.

Some other notable guests in the building included ... Dennis Rodman, Shaggy, Vernon Davis, and Sommer Ray.

Celebrity Sports Entertainment put on the event, which was an F1 after-party ... clearly, it was a fun night, full of many surprises.

Olivia Culpo is starting off her 30th birthday celebration by picking up a new talent -- pole dancing!!

The model, her fam and her NFL superstar boyfriend, Christian McCaffrey, hit up Miami for a weekend full of fun ... from fancy dinners to clubbing, to hitting up the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

But the most attention-grabbing moment of the party is when the birthday girl -- wearing a tiny silver dress -- decided to take advantage of a pole inside a party bus ... by hopping up on it and going for a spin!!

The whole bus cheered for Olivia as she did her thing ... and her sister, Sophia, even looked shocked.

OC shared a recap of the festivities on Instagram ... saying, "30th birthday! This milestone scared me but I have to say I feel so incredibly grateful for the people in my life, and for all of you."

"Thank you for following my crazy journey through life and giving me an outlet to be myself. I don’t want this to be too long but I love you guys and thank you so so much for the bday wishes !!!!"

No word on what CMC got his lady for her big day -- but we're sure it was special.

Nas Performs at Carbone in Miami ... Packed with Celebs

THIS IS NAS' NIGHT
TMZ.com

Nas went from a King of New York to an Emperor in Miami this weekend -- the guy headlined a banger of a show to round out the Formula 1 event in town ... and killed it.

The rapper took the stage Sunday at Carbone Beach, where the whole joint went on a trip down memory lane to some of his early hits in the '90s ... including a ton of 'Illmatic' tracks that the crowd was vibing to in what appears to have been a pretty intimate setting.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Speaking of that audience ... it was about as star-studded as they come. Some of the A-listers in attendance -- DJ Khaled, Venus Williams, Jamie Foxx, Hailee Steinfeld, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Busta Rhymes, Lindsey Vonn, Kevin Love, LeBron James, Rich Paul, Maverick Carter, Meek Mill, Timbaland, and Karrueche Tran ... among others.

Nas himself played to the spectators throughout his set, all while holding some sort of beverage in his hand. Looks like it was a boozy affair -- just about everyone seemed to have a cocktail to themselves.

BACK ON STAGE

Definitely a great way to end the week, and Nas's performance is right up there with Travis Scott's show from Saturday night ... where the guy rocked the mic in full capacity, the first since he's done a show like that since Astroworld.

If there was any question about it before, it's answered now ... Miami was the place to be.

Martin Brundle Confuses Paolo Banchero ... For Pat Mahomes at Grand Prix 😅

Paolo Banchero is NOT Patrick Mahomes -- a fairly obvious fact that Martin Brundle had to learn the hard way ... live on the air, no less. Whoops!

The former race car driver-turned-broadcaster was in the middle of his coverage of Sunday's Grand Prix down in Miami for Sky Sports ... where he was flagging people down for interviews on the speedway grid like he usually does each year.

Unfortunately, he manifested a case of mistaken identity ... doing a stop-and-chat with the star Duke basketball player -- who towered over everyone at an impressive 6'10" -- whom he apparently thought was the Kansas City Chiefs star QB. It was funny ... and kinda cringe.

Check it out -- you see Brundle spot who he thinks is PM, and shouts out his name ... only to be ignored by Paolo. When he finally catches up to him though ... he gets his interview.

After a few seconds, MB realizes Paolo isn't Pat ... and sorta apologizes as Paolo goes on his way. Doesn't seem he was sweating the mix-up either, dropping a "whatever" afterward.

At one point, Brundle came across a rando that he seems to have thought might've been famous -- but rather than make the leap he did with Paolo/Patrick, he politely asked ... who the heck are ya??? This interview didn't go so great either, though ... but made for good TV.

It seems awkward exchanges are Martin's M.O. at F1 events -- remember that time he tried to talk to Megan Thee Stallion??? Yeah, more of the same from this loveable bloke. 😂

LeBron Parties Hard in Miami ... One Club's Not Enough!!!

"WHO WANT SMOKE??"
TMZSports.com

LeBron James came back Saturday night to where he started the weekend ... at CARBONE BEACH in Miami Beach, and he partied his ass off!!!

LeBron was having a great time, drinking, dancing and hanging with pals. It's all part of Grand Prix weekend, and it was wild.

There were other celebs on hand ... Meek Mill showed up with some friends and was chilling with the crowd. Patrick Mahomes was also there with his wife Brittany Matthews.

But that's just the beginning of the roster ... Serena and Venus Williams, Travis Kelce, Lindsey Vonn, Kevin Love and lots of others showed up for a night of great food and partying.

LeBron didn't stop at Carbone ... at a point -- late in the evening -- he bailed and went to another club and partied most of the night.

He couldn't have looked happier ... smiling and dancing and blowing off steam.

F1 Champ Jenson Button 'Drive to Survive' Is 'Great Gateway' ... Netflix Show Attracting U.S. Fans

050522_jenson_button_kal_1
MORE THAN RACING
TMZSports.com

Jenson Button, 2009 Formula 1 champion, tells TMZ Sports the popular Netflix show 'Drive to Survive' may not be super popular with all the drivers, but it's a helluva tool to bring American fans into F1.

Not familiar with the racing star? Button won the prestigious title driving for Brawn GP in '09. Jenson had an awesome season ... winning 6 of the first 7 Grand Prix's. Jenson ultimately finished 11 points ahead of 4x champ Sebastian Vettel.

During Jenson's time, there was no Netflix series ... but since the show's inception, Button says viewers have gotten to know drivers better -- and that's mostly a good thing.

"I think it's a great gateway to the sport. But, if the sport wasn't great, it wouldn't work, right?" Button says.

"The good thing is we all love behind the scenes, don't we? We love trying to understand the personalities involved in something. And, you don't get that from racing I guess if you just watch the sport initially cause everybody's got crash helmets on. So, at least you're understanding the personalities that are in those cars, and then you're going, 'Oh, the racing is pretty awesome as well.'"

Jenson added ... "I think it's good."

If there's a downfall ... it's that the show is, well, a TV show, and drama can sometimes be ratcheted up for entertainment value.

"For me, as a purist, and a racing driver for years, there are certain things where I'm like, 'That's not kinda how it happens,' but it's entertainment, and if it's bringing in a bigger audience into the sport, then that's fantastic, and they can really get to the nitty-gritty, what is the sport about."

'DTS' debuted in 2019, and it seems it has already had a positive effect on the fanbase. FIA (the group in charge of Formula 1) added the Miami Grand Prix to this year's slate of races, in addition to the Austin Grand Prix.

And, next year, they'll race in Las Vegas ... in a highly anticipated Grand Prix.

Bottom line ... fan interest is clearly surging in the U.S.

BIG POWER IN A SMALL PACKAGE
TMZSports.com

There's more ... we also talked to Button about his return to racing. This time, not in Formula 1, but in Travis Pastrana's Nitro Rallycross -- essentially the polar opposite of open-wheel F1 cars.

Jenson's still involved in Formula 1. He's a brand ambassador for Williams Racing ... the team he made his F1 debut in 2000.

BTW, haven't heard of Brawn GP, Button's team when he won the championship? BGP was (partially) bought by Mercedes after the 2009 season ... and in 2010, the team raced under the MB name.

Despite some struggles this season, since switching, Mercedes has been the most successful team in the entire field.

Formula 1 Grand Prix Weekend Beckham, LeBron Hit Up Carbone Bash ... Tons of Celebs Chow Down

INSIDE THE PARTY
TMZ.com

There was a massive party in South Beach Friday night ... and just about every celeb in the 305 was there.

The bash was thrown by Major Food Group and American Express in partnership with The h.wood Group and Sports Illustrated during Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. The party, called Carbone Beach -- after awesome chef Mario Carbone -- drew tons of stars, including, David Beckham, Derek Jeter, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, LeBron James, James Corden, Patrick Mahomes, Rich Paul, Wyclef Jean, Jorge Perez and Wayne Boich.

But, wait ... there's more ... Chantel Jeffries, Larsa Pippen, Serena and Venus Williams, Fabolous and Food God.

Wyclef Jean performed "Hips Don't Lie" -- the song he's featured with on Shakira. She was MIA from the party.

Now get this ... the sit-down dinner was $3k a person, and that got you shellfish, oysters, caviar, pastas, truffles, tomahawk steaks, veal parm and LOTS of Lobos 1707 tequila.

The 300 partygoers called it a night at around 3 AM.

As we reported, Travis Scott will hit the stage Saturday night at another Grand Prix event at E11EVEN in Miami. It's apparent ... Travis is slowly getting back into the swing of things after last November's Astroworld tragedy.

Lewis Hamilton Drapes Himself In Jewelry ... Amid FIA Crackdown

F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton is taking a stand against FIA's ban on jewelry during races ... by wearing multiple necklaces, rings, earrings AND watches at his press conference Friday in Miami.

The Mercedes champ has been outspoken against the association's recent crackdown on the accessories drivers are allowed to wear during races ... claiming there are much bigger issues to focus on.

37-year-old Hamilton doubled down on his position when speaking with media members ... saying he feels like it's a "step backwards" as the sport looks to grow.

"This is such a small thing," Hamilton said. "I've been in this sport for 16 years. I've been wearing jewelry for 16 years. In the car, I only have my earrings and my nose ring, which I can't remove."

"It seems unnecessary for us to get into this spat," he added. "So, I'll try to communicate and work with (FIA president) Mohammed (bin Sulayem). I think I'm here to be an ally of the sport, of Mohammed, and Formula 1, and I think we got bigger fish to fry, bigger things to do, more impact to have."

"So, I think that's where the focus should be."

Hamilton says his jewelry is not magnetic and there are no safety concerns while racing ... but if he's not allowed to compete over the ban, he is content with hanging out in South Beach and letting the backup driver take his spot.

It's been a tough start for the 7-time champ so far this season ... so Mercedes fans have got to be hoping he can get back to his usual success.

Michael Jordan Bro Sesh With Pierre Gasly ... Getting Into F1?!?

Is Michael Jordan looking to get into Formula 1??

If so, he's already bumping elbows with drivers ... enjoying a dinner with AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly ahead of Sunday's Grand Prix in Miami!!

The French star posted pics of his time with #23 to social media ... showing MJ trying on his helmet and signing a few autographs.

"Unforgettable dinner! @jumpman23👑" Gasly said on IG ... and naturally, his fellow F1 bros are jealous.

"I actually think I would cry," Daniel Ricciardo said in the comments.

The GOAT is one of several megastars reportedly slated to attend the race this weekend ... including LeBron James, David Beckham, Tom Brady, James Corden, Serena and Venus Williams and more.

Of course, His Airness is no stranger to racing -- he launched his 23XI NASCAR team with Denny Hamlin in 2020 ... signing Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch to his roster.

Could the dinner be a sign of MJ's future business plans?? It's unclear -- maybe they're just buds -- but with F1's meteoric rise in popularity over the past few years, it wouldn't be too surprising if Jordan was trying to get in on it.

F1's Daniel Ricciardo Hey, Trevor Noah ... Let's Do-ey A Shoey!!!

F1 superstar Daniel Ricciardo brought his signature "shoey' celebration to "The Daily Show" on Thursday ... chugging champagne out of a shoe with Trevor Noah!!

The McLaren driver -- who commemorates every podium finish by downing bubbly out of his sweaty ass boot -- reenacted the iconic Australian tradition on the desk alongside the host ... and it was hilarious!!

Initially, there were two mugs sitting on the desk ... but Noah quickly swapped them out for shoes and brought out a bottle of champagne to make Ricciardo feel more "comfortable."

But, the shoes weren't just props -- the guys ended up chugging the booze!!

Of course, the shoey has become quite popular in recent years -- Post Malone has done it in the past, and UFC boss Dana White even did one with heavyweight Tai Tuivasa, too!!

Ricciardo also talked some F1 ... admitting he "hated" apologizing to Carlos Sainz after he caused the Ferrari driver to retire his car in the first lap of last weekend's race in Imola ... and explained the challenges he'll face in Miami next month.

Travis Scott Will Perform Publicly, 1st Time ... Rocking Out in Miami!!!

Travis Scott is going from dipping his toe in the performance pool to getting in waist deep -- the guy's first public show is booked ... and it's going down in Miami next month.

The rapper is scheduled to host on Saturday, May 7 at hotspot E11EVEN -- where he appears to be the headlining act for Race Week. There's a Formula 1 Grand Prix that'll be going down around the same time ... so it's gonna be popping in and around the city.

According to promotional flyers and E11EVEN's own website ... tickets are on sale now at a price point of $150 to $250, depending on whether you're a man or woman. Ladies get in cheaper, obviously. Page Six was first to notice the event. We have been told that it's almost sold out ... and demand is sky-high.

VIP tables are also available for reservation as well ... and those can go for a pretty penny, reportedly upwards of $100k depending on what's happening. Considering this will be Travis' first foray, musically, before a large crowd ... ya gotta imagine the cost will be higher.

BACK ON THE MIC
TMZ.com

This certainly isn't the first time TS has grabbed a mic since the Astroworld Fest tragedy in November, when 10 people died. He's been dabbling in smaller performances in the months thereafter -- including a limited set at a pre-Oscars party, ditto for a Coachella afterparty.

At both events, there seemed to be some enthusiasm around his presence ... but time will tell if a club like E11EVEN can muster a large crowd. The jury's sorta out on how people feel about him these days.

BACK IN ACTION
TMZ.com

At first, there was a lot of anger directed at him ... as some felt he continued the show despite seemingly obvious signs folks were in distress -- but in the wake of all that, there's been different evidence suggesting he may have, in fact, been in the dark on the severity.

Still, he's in the middle of several lawsuits that have named him as a defendant ... and that'll take years to work through the court system. In the meantime, he's making a comeback -- or trying to, anyway.

One thing's for certain ... we'll be watching. 👀

Lewis Hamilton, Serena Williams Gunning To Buy Chelsea FC ... Pledge Millions In Bid

Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams could be Chelsea FC's next owners -- both sports icons have reportedly pledged MILLIONS in a bid to buy the club.

The F1 superstar and tennis legend have joined British business mogul Martin Broughton's group of rich and powerful investors hoping to purchase the team from Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, according to Reuters.

There's a report Hamilton and Williams both paid $13 million each ... but the Mercedes driver's rep claims that is not an accurate number. In fact, we're told Lewis contributed tens of millions as part of the bid.

Josh Harris and David Blitzer -- who own the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils -- are also part of the bid.

Of course, Abramovich recently put the team up for sale amid the UK government's sanctions to seize the assets of those close to Vladimir Putin.

While RA has denied being tight with the Russian president, he still put the team on the market ... with a reported $3.93 billion price tag.

Williams made nearly $46 million alone in 2021 ... while Hamilton raked in $82 million.

So, yeah, they can afford it.

Lewis Hamilton Skydiving In Dubai ... Incredible Video

040422_lewis_hamilton_kal_1
FROM TRACK TO T-POSE

Lewis Hamilton has no fear -- the Formula 1 superstar spent his free weekend jumping out of planes in Dubai ... and the video is breathtaking.

The 37-year-old Mercedes driver shared several videos from his skydiving trip on Sunday ... showing off his bravery with flips, T-poses, and other wild maneuvers.

Hamilton did a total of 10 jumps during his Sunday off from racing, according to Joe Pompliano ... calling it his "ideal" way to enjoy time away from the track.

While his tricks in the air were smooth, his 2022 season has been a bit bumpy -- after a podium finish in Bahrain, Hamilton finished 10th in Saudi Arabia last Sunday.

Hamilton will try to get back to his usual self at the Australian Grand Prix this weekend ... in hopes of gaining ground on Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz in the driver standings.

There's still a ton of season left, so don't be surprised if Hamilton finds his way back to the top ... especially after this adrenaline boost.

No word on what the other guys were doing this weekend ... but it damn sure couldn't have been this extreme.

Max Verstappen Slams Netflix F1 Show ... Makes Lando Norris Look Like a 'D***'

Formula 1 superstar Max Verstappen is teeing off on Netflix's popular 'Drive to Survive' series ... saying the show unfairly makes fellow driver Lando Norris look like a "d***."

Many of the sport's biggest names have been critical of the series in recent weeks ... with producers getting called out for starting fake drama and taking comments out of context to stir the pot.

The Red Bull driver has avoided speaking with Netflix cams for several seasons ... and went in-depth this week about why he continues to take issue with the show in the 4th installment of the show.

"For me personally, what I didn't like -- and it isn't even about me -- it's about Lando and Daniel (Ricciardo), which I think are two great guys and are really nice, first of all, and it made it look like Lando was a bit of a d*** ... which he isn't at all," the 2021 champ said this week, according to WTF1.

Verstappen says new F1 fans who watch the show will get the wrong impression of the McLaren driver ... and he thinks that's completely unfair, as he knows Lando to be a good guy.

Verstappen claims the same thing happened to him in the early seasons ... saying, "You just immediately get a wrong picture of a good person, and that is exactly what I think happened to me in the beginning, and then I think I am someone that when you ruin it from the start, you don't fix it. That's it. you ruined it."

MV also spoke about the show with reporters ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Friday ... comparing the show to "Keeping up with the Kardashians" -- and not in a good way.

As for Verstappen's appearances in the show, he says he was surprised to see himself featured so much, considering he's declined interviews for years.

"It's probably stuff from 2018 or something they picked up and used again, [talking about] fighting and what I like to do, but that already, of course, is not correct. I could hear it in my voice. It was a bit different."

Netflix has previously opened up about wanting to sit down with the drivers to fix the problem moving forward ... but Verstappen seems over it.

F1's Daniil Kvyat Banning Russian Athletes Is 'Unfair' ... Separate Sports And Politics!!!

Former Formula 1 driver Daniil Kvyat is speaking out against banning Russian athletes amid the attack on Ukraine ... calling it an "unfair solution."

As we previously reported, FIFA, the International Olympic Committee and other top sports organizations have expressed desire to prevent Russian athletes from participating in the international competition following last week's invasion ... as well as the Automobile Federation of Ukraine, which has called on the FIA to ban Russian drivers from racing in F1.

27-year-old Kvyat -- the most successful F1 driver from Russia -- sounded off on the idea in a lengthy statement on Tuesday ... saying it's going against everything sports represents.

"I really hope for a peaceful solution to this situation in Ukraine, and that we can all live in peace," he said on Twitter. "Hopefully all parties can find a solution by sitting together and through a respectful dialogue."

"It horrifies me to see two brotherhood nations in a conflict. I don't want military actions and wars to influence the future of humanity, I want my daughter and all children to enjoy this beautiful world."

He added ... "I also would like to highlight and address all sports federations across the world including IOC that sport should remain outside politics and disallowing Russian athletes and teams from participating in world competitions is an unfair solution and goes against what sport teaches us in its principle -- the unity and peace."

"Who else if not us sports people will help to glue nations together in the upcoming times."

Several massive Russian athletes have spoken out against the attack ... including Alexander Ovechkin, Andrey Rublev and more.

The potential ban on Russian drivers would currently impact Haas' Nikita Mazepin ... but no decision has been made at this time.

Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Canceled ... After Ukraine Invasion

Formula 1 will NOT return to Russia in September ... with organizers saying it is "impossible" to hold the event in Sochi following the attack on Ukraine.

"We are watching the developments in Ukraine with sadness and shock and hope for a swift and peaceful resolution to the present situation," the org. said in a statement Friday.

"On Thursday evening Formula 1, the FIA, and the teams discussed the position of our sport, and the conclusion is, including the view of all relevant stakeholders, that it is impossible to hold the Russian Grand Prix in the current circumstances."

As we previously reported, superstars like Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen voiced their opposition to holding the race in Sochi after Russia attacked Ukraine ... with the 4-time champ saying, "I think it’s wrong to race in that country."

The Russian G.P. has been on the F1 schedule since 2014 ... and Vladimir Putin has attended the event in the past -- even handing out the trophy to winners on the podium, including Lewis Hamilton and Valtterri Bottas.

No word on whether September 23-25 will now be considered an off week, or if F1 will try to move the race elsewhere. We'll update you as soon as a decision is made.
