The Dallas Cowboys might suck, but their home venue doesn't -- officials tell TMZ Sports they've found nothing wrong with AT&T Stadium's structure despite Monday night's metal-falling incident.

A spokesperson for the City of Arlington told us Tuesday the city's building inspector and deputy fire marshal have deemed Jerry World safe ... less than 24 hours after people on AT&T Stadium's field were nearly hit by debris that came crashing down from the facility's ceiling just before the Cowboys vs. Texans kickoff.

The rep says they're confident "there are no structural issues with the venue or its retractable roof" -- as officials ID'ed the concerning "Monday Night Football" scene to be merely a problem with a cable tray lid covering.

Peyton Manning wasn't all that impressed with Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul .... 'cause the Hall of Fame signal-caller took a shot at the fight during the Cowboys-Texans "Monday Night Football" game!

The roasting happened during the "ManningCast" ... when a skirmish broke out in the first quarter of the game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Bill Belichick, a weekly guest on the show, mentioned the stadium hosted a big fight on Friday ... Tyson vs. Paul, which went down at Jerry's World, too.

Manning laughed ... and offered this quip back.

AT&T Stadium is undergoing some changes after all -- but its got nothing to do with a tarp blocking the sun -- 'cause a massive piece of roof fell ahead of the Texans-Cowboys Monday Night Football game.

It happened on Monday afternoon as the retractable domed roof was opening a couple of hours before kickoff in Arlington, TX ... so fans could enjoy the night sky for the first time in two years.

Unfortunately, while the roof was opening, a humongous piece from the roof fell ... which was then documented by several reporters who shared photos and video of the big hunk of sheet metal as it lay on the sidelines.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

It's been just over a month since Aidan Hutchinson suffered a gruesome leg injury that ended his 2024 season ... but his mom provided an update that'll be music to Lions fans' ears -- saying his recovery is "going amazing" as he improves by the day.
