NFL Stars Urge Tua To Retire After Latest Concussion
NFL players are seriously worried about Tua Tagovailoa's health after his scary concussion during "Thursday Night Football" ... with everyone from Tony Gonzalez and Shannon Sharpe to Antonio Brown urging the Dolphins quarterback to consider retirement.
Gonzalez, a Hall of Famer, was broadcasting the Bills vs. Dolphins game ... so he got a first-hand view of all that went down in the 3rd quarter, when Tagovailoa seemed to lose consciousness after a hard collision with Damar Hamlin.
Tagovailoa, 26, was taken off the field with help from the training staff and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Detroit Lions legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Schmidt passed away on Wednesday, the team announced. He was 92 years old.
"Joe Schmidt had the heart of a Lion," team owner Martha Firestone Ford said on Thursday ... "which made it appropriate that he was also the heart of our team."

TMZ Sports obtained the two traffic citations given to Tyreek Hill on Sunday, and cops say he was driving his McLaren 720S about 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
30-year-old Hill was cited for careless driving and failing to wear his seat belt ahead of the Miami Dolphins season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars ... a routine stop that turned ugly after a dispute between the NFL superstar and officers on the scene.
"High rate [of] speed visual estimation 60 MPH, no seat belt. High [traffic] of pedestrians and [vehicles]," one of the cops noted on the careless driving ticket.

NFL super agent Drew Rosenhaus is calling for swift and severe punishment for the officers involved in the Tyreek Hill traffic stop ... saying all the cops who got physical with the Dolphins superstar during his detainment should lose their jobs.
Rosenhaus addressed the incident during an interview on "The Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz" on Tuesday ... and he's adamant his client's actions did not warrant the officers' "outrageous" conduct.
Rosenhaus said he just spoke with Hill prior to the show appearance ... and said the receiver feared he could have been shot -- or even killed -- during the stop.
