Rashee Rice has admitted to being behind the wheel of the Lamborghini that was involved in the massive car crash in Texas last weekend.

The Chiefs star's attorney, Royce West, just told media members at a news conference on Thursday afternoon that Rice made the admission while talking with Dallas Police Dept. investigators this week.

West said Rice is taking full responsibility for his actions ... vowing to make whole anyone who was injured in the accident or had property damaged in the wreck.

Ex-NFL star Vernon Davis says it's still a mystery as to how exactly his brother, Vontae Davis, died earlier this week ... although he said Monday he believes the former Colts cornerback passed away following a session in a sauna.

The ex-San Francisco 49ers tight end broke his silence on his little bro's death during an interview with The Daily Mail on Wednesday ... just two days after Vontae was found deceased inside a gym at his Southwest Ranches, Fla. home.

Vernon says he believes his brother either collapsed or slipped after spending time soaking in steam -- but outside of that, he really is unsure of how the former NFLer passed at just 35 years old.

Rice never said what exactly his role was in the accident -- AKA whether or not he was behind the wheel of one of the speeding luxury cars that caused the wreck over the weekend -- but he did say he met with Dallas Police Dept. investigators over it all earlier on Wednesday.

Rice promised to "continue to cooperate" with law enforcement ... before he added, "I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday's accident."

Patrick Mahomes Sr. has been officially hit with a criminal charge for allegedly driving drunk earlier this year ... Texas prosecutors just indicted him for felony DWI.

According to court records, Mahomes Sr. was slapped with the count -- driving while intoxicated third or more -- on Thursday.

If convicted, he'll face up to 10 years behind bars ... as well as a fine of up to $10,000.

Travis Kelce and his bro, Jason, are making serious moves to be Hollywood's next big things ... at least, that's according to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who's absolutely sure the two are auditioning for movie roles in LA this month!

The Terminator joined the brothers on their "New Heights" podcast this week ... and before the show really got going, he told the guys he was positive they were both in Tinseltown this week because they're trying to make plays to get onto the silver screen.

"I'm not stupid," he said after noting the two -- who usually do their podcast from different cities -- were together in the City of Angels. "There's a reason."

A 911 caller told dispatch she found Vontae Davis dead in the area of a gym in his home ... this according to police audio obtained by TMZ Sports.

In the call, the unidentified woman can be heard saying she discovered the former NFL star's body after initially not being able to find him at his Southwest Ranches residence.

Dispatch attempted to get the woman to obtain a defibrillator ... though it's unclear if the woman or any others retrieved it or attempted to use it on Davis. The call was heavily redacted by authorities.

New couple alert??

Johnny Manziel and Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie, appear to be spending some quality time together ... after the model shared a snap of them cozying up on a plane.

Josie added the pic to her Instagram story on Tuesday ... which was meant to highlight her new Alo sneakers, but Manziel's notable hand tattoos were on display in the background.

On top of the ink, the man in the picture is also wearing a Swiftie-esque friendship bracelet that resembles a similar accessory Manziel has rocked in the past ... leading us to believe the post was a soft launch of sorts.

If they're an item, it's fair to assume they're still in the early stages ... as the two have not been spotted out on the town together just yet. They at least crossed paths and posed next to each other at Travis Scott's Cactus Jack celebrity softball game back in February ... so maybe that's when the sparks started flying??

It would be a pretty interesting pairing, to say the least -- Josie used to date rapper MIKE (FKA Mike Stud), who shared a podcast with Manziel back in the day.

The former NFL quarterback was famously married to Bre Tiesi ... although that relationship ended when the "Selling Sunset" star filed for divorce in 2019. He went on to date Kenzie Werner, but that seemingly fizzled out as well.

Josie previously dated Logan Paul and Brody Jenner  ... and was most recently spotted with country singer Morgan Wallen in London, although that was apparently just a friendly outing.

Rashee Rice was involved in the car crash that injured multiple people in Dallas Saturday ... and he admitted it to the company that owns the Lambo ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Rice owned the Corvette that was involved in the crash and leased the Lambo from a company called The Classic Lifestyle. Rice was in the Lambo at the time of the crash and, according to the leasing agreement, he's the only person who was permitted to drive the car ... this according to Kyle Coker, the attorney representing Classic Lifestyle.

Coker tells TMZ Sports, Rice fired off a text shortly after the wreck, acknowledging he was involved in the crash and promising to pay for the Lambo, which was totaled.

The NFL says it's keeping a close eye on Rashee Rice ... this after one of his vehicles was allegedly involved in a massive car wreck in Dallas on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the league told TMZ Sports on Tuesday they're "monitoring" the situation ... although no further details surrounding their probe into the matter were given.

As we previously reported, two high-end cars -- a Lamborghini and a Corvette -- caused a huge pile-up on an expressway over the weekend, after they were seen speeding in and out of traffic. None of the passengers of the cars, cops say, stayed on the scene to see if anyone needed medical help.

The Kansas City Chiefs say they're preparing to do everything they can to figure out what role Rashee Rice played -- if any -- in a car crash that allegedly involved one of his vehicles ... with the team's president, Mark Donovan, vowing to "get to the bottom of it."

According to the Dallas Morning News, a car registered to Rice was caught up in a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas expressway at around 6:25 PM on Saturday. It's not clear at all how exactly the NFL player is believed to be connected to the incident, although the DMN reported cops are now looking to speak to him.

Donovan appeared on KCMO Talk Radio Monday morning to address the allegations -- and he said while they're still in the process of getting information, "We'll get to the bottom of it."

Former NFL star cornerback Vontae Davis -- who played 10 seasons before retiring in 2018 -- has been found dead in a Florida home. He was only 35.

WSVN reported that a male body was found at a home owned by Davis' grandmother on Monday in Southwest Ranches Florida, which is 30 miles north of Miami.

Police said no foul play is involved and the investigation is ongoing.
