4:22 PM PT -- Tom Porto, the attorney for Ariel Young and her family, just released a statement on Britt Reid's commutation to TMZ Sports ... saying simply, "What’s different between this criminal defendant and every other criminal defendant in the state of Missouri?"

Ex-Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid -- Andy's son -- just had his three-year prison sentence commuted to house arrest.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson made the surprising decision on Friday ... a little over a year after Reid was thrown behind bars for his role in a DWI crash that left a 5-year-old girl, Ariel Young, with life-altering brain injuries.

A spokesperson for Parson explained the move in a statement to media outlets ... saying, "Reid had completed his alcohol abuse treatment program and has served more prison time than most individuals convicted of similar offenses."

As part of his commutation, Reid will remain on house arrest until October 31, 2025. He'll have to abide by a lengthy list of conditions in order to avoid being thrown back in prison, however -- including working at least 30 hours a week, submitting to random drug screenings, and completing at least 10 hours a month of community service.

Reid is also forbidden from making contact with Young or her family members.

Reid was first hit with criminal charges in the case after authorities said he got drunk days before the Chiefs vs. Buccaneers Super Bowl in 2021 and slammed his pickup truck into the back of a car Young had been riding in.

Authorities alleged Reid was going 83.9 MPH in a 65 MPH zone just before the wreck, and had a BAC of .113 two hours following the accident.

Dash cam footage captured at the scene showed Reid was wearing a Chiefs COVID mask and a Chiefs sweatshirt in the minutes after the crash.

Reid lost his job with Kansas City's NFL franchise a short time later ... and didn't work in the league again before beginning his sentence in November 2022.

We've reached out to an attorney for the Young family for comment, but so far, we haven't heard back yet.

Chad Wheeler -- a former New York Giants offensive lineman -- was just sentenced to 81 months in prison ... after he was convicted in November of roughing up his girlfriend during a violent encounter in 2021.

The 30-year-old learned his fate inside a King County, Wash. courtroom on Friday ... in front of some of his family and friends -- as well as the victim in the case, Alleah Taylor.

In addition to the nearly seven-year sentence, the judge also ordered Wheeler to have no contact with Taylor ... and to pay restitution as well. The sentence, according to court documents, is scheduled to begin immediately.

Wheeler was found guilty of one count of first-degree assault domestic violence back on Nov. 9 ... nearly three years after Taylor said he almost killed her during an altercation at their Washington apartment.

Taylor claimed Wheeler attacked her after she refused his orders to bow down to him. She alleged the football player grabbed her, threw her on a bed and choked her until she was unconscious.

Taylor said Wheeler was so violent, she suffered a concussion and an arm injury that required metal hardware to fix.

On Thursday night, just hours before Wheeler's sentencing took place, Taylor wrote on her X page, "Sending Chad to prison tomorrow!"

"I appreciate everyone that has supported me and the legal process to make this happen! It’s been a long road but we are finally here and finally receiving justice!"

Tyreek Hill clearly ain't too worried about the lawsuit a model hit him with last week ... the Miami Dolphins superstar is currently out on a yacht -- celebrating his birthday in some serious style.

The wide receiver -- fresh off being sued by an influencer who claimed he broke her leg in a fit of rage during a football drill last summer -- was seen on a big boat with his wife on Friday afternoon in a large body of water.

Hill seemed to party without a care in the world ... smooching his significant other, dancing around and soaking in all of the first hours of his 30s.

Hill also got to enjoy some balloons as well ... and even a custom cake!!

Of course, it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows for Hill the last few days ... particularly after Sophie Hall filed her lawsuit on Feb. 23 -- suing him for unspecified damages.

Tyreek Hill is fighting back against the model who said he broke her leg during a fit of rage in a football drill ... saying she got injured merely because she tripped over a dog.

In a lawsuit filed in Florida last week, Sophie Hall -- an influencer with over 2 million followers on Instagram -- claimed that after Hill courted her through a series of direct messages last summer ... she showed up at his Southwest Ranches mansion.

She alleged that while there, the two engaged in some football drills -- and when she "held her own" against the Miami Dolphins star, he became embarrassed and enraged. She said he then "charged into her violently and with great force," causing her to sustain a serious leg injury.

But, Hill's attorney, Julius B. Collins, said in a statement to TMZ Sports on Friday that Hall's lawsuit is complete BS ... and an attempt to shake down the NFL player.

According to Collins, Hall did show up to Hill's home and the two did engage in some "playful" drills ... but she hurt herself when she fell over a dog -- not because Hill turned violent.

Collins called Hall's claims "disgusting and cunning."

"This lawsuit is baseless," Collins said, "and nothing more than an attempt to bring bad publicity to Mr. Hill and force him into paying them and their client monies."

Collins added that Hill has opened up an insurance claim for the injuries Hall suffered while at the wide receiver's residence ... but Hall filed the lawsuit "in an attempt to 'scare tactic' him into personally covering the cost of Ms. Hall’s medical bills."

"Mr. Hill is prepared to defend against this baseless lawsuit head on," Collins said.

For the Dolphins' part, general manager Chris Grier told media members at the NFL Combine this week they were aware of the suit and are still gathering information.

Cam Newton is finally speaking out about his viral violent altercation at a 7v7 youth football tournament ... holding himself accountable and admitting things never should have turned physical.

The former NFL MVP addressed the elephant in the room on his '4th and 1' podcast on Friday ... and he backs up what Top Shelf Performance coaches TJ and Steph Brown said earlier this week -- it all stemmed from some trash talk.

Cam claims both sides exchanged triggering words prior to the scuffle ... but he's owning up to the fact he shouldn't have put himself in that position to begin with.

"There's no excuse," the former Panthers star said. "It's really not, 'cause it could've been a melee, more violence could've stemmed from that and it's just not called for. And on top of that, it's echoing something that's been permeating for years -- black people. Why it gotta be at a black event? You know what I'm saying? And I can easily play the victim and I'm not going to do that."

Cam understands the gravity of the situation ... and is thankful things did not get more serious.

Ultimately, Cam said he needs to use his platform to have a positive influence on the next wave of athletes.

"I have to use my power to empower the next generation," he added. "That's all I wanna do. I wanna use what I've been through as information to change the narrative because to be honest, these are a lot of children's way out of their situation."

"They don't have lawyers to look up to. They don't have counselors to look up to. They see street n****s, they see people who are rapping and they see athletes as people that they look up to."

As we previously reported, Cam and the Browns -- who used to coach with the QB -- got into the physical altercation during the 7v7 youth football tournament in Atlanta on Sunday.

A "Saturday Night Live" comedy trio is taking credit for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance -- but only if it goes the distance ... otherwise, they want nothing to do with it.

The topic of Traylor kickstarted when comics Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy -- who make up Please Don't Destroy on 'SNL' -- spilled the beans on working with Tay Tay.

They told host Mike Birbiglia on the 'Working It Out' podcast the star told them she had watched Travis' 'SNL' episode before they first met and she liked what she saw.

Ben added that Taylor told them she thought Travis seemed super funny in the clip ... saying that it was in that moment that they kinda, sorta brought them together.

However, Ben shared some serious reservations about taking credit for the Traylor romance -- only 'cause of Taylor's army of devoted fans, the Swifties.

He said that if things were to ever go south between the pair ... they'd be the ones getting roasted over the coals for it.

Travis, of course, got in on the action hosting 'SNL' in March 2023 -- about six months before he went public with Taylor. It's interesting ... they're saying this is when Travis first fell onto Taylor's radar -- but whether she was actually interested or not ... well, anyone's guess.

Travis also appeared in a pre-taped sketch written by Please Don't Destroy, where he played a hilarious self-defense instructor named Kurt Lightning ... so yeah, they have 'SNL' history.

You gotta fight for your right to party ... and apparently, Rob Gronkowski didn't earn that privilege after getting drafted back in 2010 -- revealing the Patriots were SUPER pissed at him for celebrating on stage during his big night.

The future Hall of Famer detailed the hilarious interaction with his new team just minutes after they took him with the 42nd overall pick ... saying they called him amid his family's passionate huddle and told him to cut it out.

"They said, 'Hey, Rob. You can get off the stage now,'" Gronk said in a clip from the upcoming episode of "The Dynasty: New England Patriots" on Apple TV+. "'Enough is enough.'"

"And I'm sitting there like, 'Wow, I'm already in trouble! It's been five minutes since I've been on the Patriots and I'm already in trouble!'"

Everything ended up working out in the end ... as Gronk and Tom Brady became one of the most successful duos in NFL history -- winning four Super Bowls together (three with the Pats).

Speaking of Brady, he also unsurprisingly gets some airtime in the latest episodes ... revealing he wanted to continue playing after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in September 2008.

Of course, that didn't happen ... and the Matt Cassel era began, leading New England to an 11-5 record in Brady's absence.

Former Illinois football star Tip Reiman had the most memorable quote of the NFL Combine so far ... telling reporters he believes birds are not what they seem!!

For those who aren't in on the joke ... the "Birds Aren't Real" movement made waves a few years ago, when a guy named Peter McIndoe created a satirical conspiracy that winged animals are actually spy drones for the U.S. Government.

A bunch of people joined in on the troll job ... and now, it's even made its way to professional football.

Reiman -- who had 203 yards and three touchdowns last season -- revealed his allegiance with the movement on Thursday ... hitting reporters with several questions that support his stance.

"Have you ever seen a baby pigeon?" Reiman asked, according to Owen Riese. "How do we know that power lines aren't pigeon recharging stations?"

Some people think Reiman is actually serious ... comparing him to Aaron Rodgers, who's been known to rock a tinfoil hat from time to time.

But Reiman's take wasn't the only bizarre statement out of Indy this week -- Texas Tech standout Tyler Owens also told reporters he doesn't believe other planets exist ... adding some flat-earthers have a strong argument.

3:39 PM -- TMZ Sports got some more intel on what went down inside the restaurant ... and as it turns out, Travis and Christian never crossed paths.

In fact, we're told McCaffrey had no idea Kelce was also there Wednesday night ... and only found out after the fact.

Travis Kelce and Christian McCaffrey aren't letting the Super Bowl results keep them from bro-ing down in Malibu -- 'cause that's exactly what they were doing on Hump Day.

The two dueling NFL superstars -- who faced off in Vegas a few weeks ago, with TK's team emerging victorious (again) -- were spotted enjoying each other's company at Nobu in Malibu on Wednesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is clearly staying busy while Taylor Swift does her thing in Singapore -- the next stop on her international tour. We're told he showed up at the famous hot spot around 8 PM, right around when CMC and his fiancée, Olivia Culpo, arrived.

It appears McCaffrey and Culpo were there for a Dolce Glow product event ... 'cause a handful of influencers and celebs like Becky G, Chrissy Teigen and Olivia's two sisters were also present. Unclear why Kelce was there ... but in any case, he was rolling with the crew.

We're told the two jocks got in separate cars as they left the restaurant ... but Kelce was trying like hell to avoid the paps on the scene (Taylor's really rubbing off on him, huh?)

In fact, Travis made his way through the kitchen to ultimately make his exit around midnight -- the same time as the engaged couple, who elected the standard route and didn't mind being photographed. For whatever reason, Travis has become camera-shy.

As for Kelce and McCaffrey ... it doesn't seem like they've been tight for very long -- the 49ers running back said back in November he met Travis for the first time during the 2023 offseason. And yet, they're hanging together shortly after the SB.

McCaffrey and Culpo are getting married soon ... so maybe Kelce asked for some pointers on how to pop the question??

Father Time is still clearly losing his battle with Tom Brady ... 'cause the NFL legend just revealed he's actually faster now at 46 years old than when he was at 22!!

The former quarterback decided to re-run a 40-yard dash following a shoot with his new "NoBull" company recently ... just to see if after all these years, he could move a bit quicker than when he was trying to get noticed by NFL teams at the 2000 Combine.

Brady wasn't sure if he could beat his now-infamous mark of 5.28 seconds ... saying prior to the run to his buds, "Let's see if we can level up."

Turns out, though, he does, indeed, have better wheels these days!

Check out the footage of the sprint ... the two who timed Brady's jaunt had him at 5.18 seconds and 5.12 -- both clear improvements from when he was a little-known signal-caller who had just wrapped up his Michigan career.

Brady's "NoBull" business partner, Mike Repole, could hardly believe the times ... joking with TB12, "If you do that 25 years ago, you get drafted in the third round!"

Of course, being better with age is nothing new for Brady. Four of his seven Super Bowl wins came AFTER he turned 37 years old -- with his final title coming following his 43rd birthday.

Retired NFL running back Giovani Bernard's family experienced a devastating tragedy this month ... revealing their newborn son passed away.

32-year-old Bernard announced the heartbreaking news on Wednesday ... sharing his grief with an emotional message to his child.

"You were loved from the moment we learned of your presence, spoken too [sic] daily and prayed for by many," the former Bengals and Buccaneers player said. "Your heart was strong and you were so playful from the moment we were able to lay eyes on you."

"We are grateful to have held you and had our little time together," he added. "The moment was brief but filled with a whirlwind of emotions. From pure joy to seeing you for the first time to uncontrollable sadness."

Gabriel was the second child for Giovani and Chloe, who got married back in 2019. They welcomed their first son, Julian, in 2021.

Bernard continued ... "Mama, papa and Julz love you very and you will always be our little warrior. We love you Gabriel."

Gio also acknowledged his strong wife ... saying, "You are more than what I could’ve imagined in a spouse, mother, and partner. You truly are remarkable. Our story together continues."

Kristin Cavallari's wasted no time leaning into her new relationship with Mark Estes ... in fact, the lovebirds have already wrapped up their first getaway in Cabo together.

PETA also took issue with the couple feeding a kangaroo at the Sydney Zoo ... saying it was harmful to the animal to do that.

Jennifer's stopping short of calling out Taylor and Travis too hard ... but says she ultimately agrees with whatever PETA says on the matter. It's pretty funny to see her wrestle with this dilemma on camera ... you can tell she loves them, and doesn't wanna slam 'em.

Kirk Cousins fans lost it when the quarterback showed off his new gold grill this week, but get this -- it's not even a finished product yet -- according to his dentist who tells TMZ Sports he still plans to add bling!

The Minnesota Vikings QB recently shared a photo of his new gold fronts on Instagram, shouting out Dr. Ryan Lebster for the "great work" ... that even got Justin Jefferson's approval.

Dr. Lebster, a practicing dentist for over 20 years, told us he started working with the Pro Bowl QB after Cousins called him and commissioned a grill during this past NFL season.

Cousins went into Dr. Lebster's Michigan office this week to finally try 'em on -- and he loved the grill!

"I made them from a dentist's viewpoint," Dr. Lebster said about the fun process. "They're strong, thin, and durable titanium with gold."

"I did it digitally instead of the gold casting technique. A quicker way to get them done."

Even though the grills are dope just the way they are, Dr. Lebster says he's not finished with the wearable jewelry. He plans to upgrade the mouthpiece.

"I'm not done yet," Dr. Lebster said, "I'm gonna bling them out soon."

The price tag for Kirk's grill remains a secret ... but Dr. Lebster said it'd likely run a few thousand bucks!

Of course, Cousins' "love" for jewelry started a couple of seasons ago ... when the 35-year-old started wearing his teammate's iced-out chains after a Vikings win.

Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux just got married in one of the most romantic ways ever ... exchanging vows on a yacht in the Caribbean Sea!

The New England Patriots defensive tackle and Victoria's Secret model said their "I dos" on a Parillion yacht on February 24, after making things legal at a civil ceremony the month before.

Everything was picturesque ... from Chanel's beautiful white Natalie De-Banco gown to Godchaux's black and white tuxedo, to the scenery off the coast of Anguilla.

Iman's two daughters, whom she had with ex-hubby, retired NY Giants receiver Sterling Shepard, were also there ... as was the newborn baby she had with DG. The kids wore adorable Mona Lisa flower girl dresses, as shown in images by photographer Corbin Gurkin.

"This was our ideal, dream day," Iman told VOGUE. "A handful of people attended the wedding ... and we chartered a yacht to sail from island to island in the Caribbean Sea."

Iman, 33, and Godchaux, 29, set sail to several surrounding islands following the wedding, including St. Barths ... and plan to return to Anguilla for their honeymoon at Cap Juluca.

"We celebrated for three days on our charter, island hopping and making stops at beach clubs, where it all started," Iman said.

The couple first revealed they were together after Shepard filed for divorce from Iman in 2021. Chanel got pregnant in May 2023 ... and Godchaux proposed shortly after.

They welcomed their baby girl, Capri Summer, last September.
