Didn't take long for AJ McCarron to get over the Raiders loss Sunday ... 'cause dude had the happiest reunion with his son at the airport -- and the vid is adorable.

AJ's been away from his 2-year-old and his model wife, Katherine Webb, for a few weeks ... but the QB flew back to 'Bama after Oakland's game -- and his reunion with his son couldn't have been cuter.

Tripp is held back until his pops strolls through the door ... and then the baby boy unleashes all his love for AJ with a "DADDY!!!!" yell and a big hug.

"When you’re reunited with your BFF #5weekswithoutdaddy," Katherine posted on social media.

So, why's AJ back in town when the Raiders still have two weeks left in the season??

Webb is SUPER pregnant with the couple's second child ... and says the new baby is actually due TODAY!!!

AJ and the Raiders don't play again until Monday ... so timing is great -- McCarron's got an extra day off this week.

Jessie James Decker's got us all green with envy ... envy over NOT being on Miami beach to see this shoot going down live.

Jessie's frolicking in a green bikini and flauntin' what her mama gave her while shooting a commercial. Unclear what product she's pimping but it's gonna be hard to upstage Jessie's bikini bod ... which is en fuego!!!

Speaking of what mamas gave ... Jessie and her ex-NFL hubby, Eric Decker, just had baby #3 -- a little boy -- back in March. Snapback mode, in full effect!

Johnny Manziel is about to make his first pro football start since 2015 ... and the woman he credits with saving his life is opening up on his battle back to the field.

TMZ Sports spoke with Bre Tiesi -- Johnny's wife -- on the eve of his first career start for the Montreal Alouettes ... and she admits that there were some dark days on the path to Johnny's sobriety ... and she questioned whether this day would ever come.

"It was just one of those things where it's like, 'Are we ever gonna get out of this?' Like, 'Are you gonna pull it together?'"

Bre says knowing what they've been through makes it that much sweeter to see him get another shot on Friday night ... and Johnny's poised to make the best of it.

But, Bre's not the only person in the ex-Cleveland Browns QB's corner ... she says he's been getting massive support from one of his friends -- Drake.

"Since day one, honestly. Since Johnny started getting better, he always gave a shout-out with love for that. And, same with the rest of the team and other people he's worked with and like, the guys. Everybody's shown their support the whole time and it means a lot."

The legendary Michigan State basketball coach was a special guest on the courtroom reality show ... and dude was cheesin' like it was his damn wedding day.

Mathis was presiding over a diehard Ohio State fan (from Michigan!!), so he had to throw shade and shout out Coach Izzo -- who couldn't get enough.

Fun fact: Judge M says his daughter was a student assistant for Izzo ... so it's no surprise that they bro'd out backstage during the taping.

Mathis even dropped the gavel on rival Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, captioning their pic: "I hear you are a Judge Judy fan. Izzo wins!"

Jessie James Decker needs the best lighting possible to show off her awesome body in a bikini -- and while in Miami ... she got it.

Eric Decker's smokin' hot wife hit Miami beach Tuesday for a photo shoot, where 1 of the lighting guys had to use a white bounce board on her for top-notch illumination.

Sources close to the reality star tell us ... Pilar is sick of being "made to look like the villain" on the show and does not want to subject herself to another round of drama.

But that's not all Pilar is telling friends ... we're told she's unhappy with her castmates ... even telling one person, "Would they still call it "Football Wives" if their husbands aren't playing or aren't affiliated with the NFL any longer?"

TMZ has confirmed ... Chanita Foster -- wife of former Denver Broncos player George Foster -- nearly collapsed during a scene in September after experiencing a headache so painful, she "couldn’t feel her legs and had trouble standing”

We're told doctors initially thought Chanita may have had a brain aneurysm -- but eventually diagnosed her with dehydration.

Sources tell us all of the "Wives" castmembers visited Chanita at the hospital and brought flowers ... except Pilar Sanders -- Deion Sanders' wife -- and the snub, we're told, pissed off Chanita.

But a source close to Pilar tells us she had a good excuse for the no-show ... explaining, "Pilar reached out to Chanita but she never got a reply."

The source added, "Plus Deion had called and told her about a very romantic evening he had planned for them and asked if she'd come home. So she did."

Sources connected with production tell us Pilar was incredibly protective of the crappers in her 109 acre, 10 bedroom, 13 bathroom estate in North Texas ... and directed the crew to her pool house.

We're told Pilar was the only "wife" who had bathroom issues -- the other castmates gave the crew an all-access potty pass when they shot scenes in their homes.

Pilar also had issues with her co-stars -- we're told since the show wrapped, she's stopped talking to the other women. But sources close to Pilar say its "completely false."

During Sunday night's premiere episode -- there was one official cast member missing from the show, Mercedes Nelson (left) ... reportedly the ex-girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber.

Multiple sources involved with the production tell us hell broke loose while the girls were taping a scene recently ... after Nelson "flipped out" and threw a bunch of tabletop items at Chanita Foster (right).

We're told producers shut down production and "came to an agreement" that it would be best for Mercedes to leave the show because it just "wasn't for her."

Mercedes was suspiciously absent from Sunday night's premiere ... but VH1 is adamant that she wasn't asked to leave, explaining, "She only ended up being in a few episodes due to story lines."
