Ice Spice got super defensive responding to a fan who gave her debut album cover art a few Photoshop modifications ... but it appears the rapper's in the minority with that opinion.

She debuted her "Y2K" album cover yesterday to a largely lukewarm reception, as some felt the design was, well ... let's just say subpar.

The rollout paid homage to Ice's Bronx roots with a subway-themed backdrop and was shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle -- still, lots of fans noted you could barely see the "Munch" rapper's name or the album title in the chicken-scratch cursive sprayed painted on a trash can.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was trying to take a blogger to court for allegedly trashing her -- but a judge just told her to take her grievances elsewhere ... 'cause the case got thrown out.

According to court records, GRB's lawsuit against April Johns -- whom Gypsy says she was in business with several years ago in an attempt to produce media that would be lucrative and benefit her and her family -- got dismissed Wednesday in Livingston County, Missouri.

It doesn't look like Gypsy herself was there -- the court docket says her attorney showed up on her behalf -- and Johns appeared without an attorney, apparently repping herself.

The outside world was super critical of Chennedy Carter, but the home fans have her back ... and that was crystal clear in the Sky's return to Chicago, where CC received a rousing ovation in her first game since the controversy!

The disagreement moves to the front yard, where the 2 parties continue to hurl words back and forth.

As the argument heats up, Otoniel Orozco Mendoza -- the man who ended up getting shot, and later identified by local media -- makes the quarrel a physical one ... throwing punches at his neighbor, Eduardo Ramírez Zamora. Unfortunately, Zamora pulled a gun out in response.

ICYMI, Ted faced online ridicule for saying his son watched the 1962 classic "Lawrence of Arabia" on his phone, and also singled out last year's "Oppenheimer," for which Hoyte won an Oscar, as a film that would be equally enjoyed away from the big screen.
