Jessica Biel spent Monday working on her new show in NYC ... hours before her hubby Justin Timberlake was booked in the Hamptons for driving under the influence.

The actress was photographed in NYC filming the TV adaptation of Alafair Burke's novel "The Better Sister," alongside Elizabeth Banks and Corey Stoll. Ironically, the new show is a crime thriller ... which perhaps now hits a little close to home following JT's arrest.

Jessica's set was not too far from where Justin's arrest occurred ... and this seems to explain what JT was even doing in town. As it turns out, his wife was working nearby.

Young Thug feels he can't have a fair trial until the judge presiding over his case is promptly removed ... and he just filed the necessary paperwork to make it happen, officially.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained new court docs filed by Young Thug's lawyers on Monday -- calling for the outright disqualification and/or recusal of Judge Ural D. Glanville ... who's been handling his criminal case in Atlanta.

The incarcerated rap star's reasoning is about the same as that of his attorney Brian Steel -- who was held in contempt recently for questioning whether the judge had possibly engaged in misconduct.

Holly Madison is accusing Crystal Hefner of "legal bullying" after Hugh Hefner's widow threatened to sue her over comments on her podcast ... TMZ has learned.
