Angelina Pivarnick is facing criminal charges after some sort of incident from over the weekend -- but her lawyer says the whole ordeal has been blown out of proportion.
The 'Jersey Shore' star is up against a slew of charges in New Jersey -- including simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest ... this according to a municipal summons that was issued Sunday, obtained by TMZ.
The summons doesn't have more info beyond this -- although it does note that further info is unavailable due to confidential information.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, officers say they observed Franky Venegas driving at a high rate of speed in his yellow Corvette Stingray on May 24 out in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Cops claim that after witnessing Venegas speed into a parking lot, they got a call about the yellow Corvette and another gray vehicle near multiple people armed with guns.

According to court records, GRB's lawsuit against April Johns -- whom Gypsy says she was in business with several years ago in an attempt to produce media that would be lucrative and benefit her and her family -- got dismissed Wednesday in Livingston County, Missouri.
It doesn't look like Gypsy herself was there -- the court docket says her attorney showed up on her behalf -- and Johns appeared without an attorney, apparently repping herself.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, SK was released on a $100K bond Wednesday in Broward County with special conditions ... Sean had to surrender his passport and any firearms to officials.

Sean Kingston was shipped out from California to Florida in his $1 million fraud case, and now a Sunshine State sheriff's office wants to send the singer a bill for the transport costs.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Broward County Sheriff's Office is asking the court to have Sean pay back the taxpayers of Broward County for the cost of his extradition.
BCSO says taxpayers shelled out $5,268.53 for Sean's extradition from Cali ... with transport costs going towards commercial airline tickets, hotels, car rental and travel allowances for the U.S. Marshalls and Broward County sheriffs deputies tasked with bringing Sean back to Florida.
Kanye West Accuses Ex-Yeezy Employee Of Extortion Regarding Lawsuit
Kanye West was accused of a lot of wrongdoing by a former Yeezy employee, but he's hitting back -- claiming it's actually her who's in the wrong ... alleging she's trying to extort him.
A legal rep for Ye tells TMZ ... "In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected."
The rep also accuses Lauren Pisciotta -- who sued Ye on Monday for sexual harassment and wrongful termination, among other things -- of stealing Kanye's phone in an attempt to destroy evidence that would run counter to her narrative.

The artist -- who is best known for writing music for Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Mariah Carey, not to mention his own music -- is being sued by Chanaaz Mangroe, who claims the producer lured her into a relationship with false promises of launching her singing career but ended up subjecting her to "violent sexual acts and vicious psychological torture."
Per the docs, obtained by TMZ, Mangroe -- who says she was raised in the Netherlands -- was thrilled when The-Dream offered to sponsor the extension of her work visa in 2014 ... allowing her to further grow her career in the U.S.
