Janet Jackson, Wissam Al Mana Separation Date May Have Prenup Implications
Janet Jackson's split from husband #3 may have significant financial implications.
Both Janet and Wissam Al Mana are wealthy, but he far more than she. He has an estimated net worth of $1 billion. She's worth an estimated $175 mil.
Janet, who had a prenup with husband #2 Rene Elizondo, almost certainly had a prenup with Al Mana. Such prenups are typically structured -- so the longer the marriage, the bigger the settlement.
Prenups typically have 5 and 10 year marks, which trigger more money in the pot to be divided. Janet announced in February, 2013 that she had gotten married a year earlier. Given the date of her reported separation from Al Mana, it seems to be almost exactly at the 5 year mark of marriage.
The couple just had a baby in January, which may also have prenup implications.

Donald Trump Yeah, I Can't Be Sued Right Now I Got a Country to Run!
Donald Trump doesn't think he'll have time to deal with civil lawsuits while he's running the USA ... and he's asking a judge to agree with him.
Trump's lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, filed court docs this week in New York, arguing Summer Zervos' defamation lawsuit against President Trump should be tossed, for now, since it'd distract him from his public duties ... and hurt the country as a result.
Kasowitz claims the U.S. constitution's supremacy clause backs up his rationale that a sitting president can't be sued in state court while in office. He also says the Supreme Court left this specific issue undecided when they ruled against Bill Clinton in the '90s.
Although SCOTUS firmly decided a president was not immune from private litigation while in office, Kasowitz claims it did not address dismissing a case based on the likelihood to distract the president before it begins.
As we reported ... Zervos is suing Trump for allegedly ruining her good name by calling her a liar for her sexual assault claims. Her lawyer, Gloria Allred, said Tuesday "no man is above the law and that includes the president of United States."
Kasowitz says he'll soon be filing a motion to dismiss the suit.

Coachella Sues Urban Outfitters You're Selling the Clothes Off Our Back!!!
Coachella and Urban Outfitters are like Salt & Peppa ... one is tied to the other, which makes the festival's lawsuit against the clothing company pretty shocking.
Urban Outfitters makes a fortune every year from festival goers who stock up on stylish and hipster gear before heading out to the desert.
Here's the problem ... the folks at Coachella say the clothing company has crossed the line by hawking its stuff as Coachella wear, without getting prior permission. Urban Outfitters has essentially created a full-blown Coachella campaign on Amazon, Zappos and Bloomingdale's websites.
So this is a shock ... the festival folks want a cut of the profits Urban Outfitters made off of its name.

Maine Oxford Comma Lawsuit Overtime Law Screws You, Me, & ... Appeals Court Agrees!!
A bunch of dairy delivery drivers in Maine say the state's overtime law is unclear cause of a missing Oxford comma ... and no less than the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed.
The drivers are suing their employer -- Portland-based Oakhurst Dairy -- for unpaid overtime wages, arguing they qualify for that dough because of the confusing way Maine's labor law is punctuated ... without a comma to distinguish who exactly is exempt.
The part of the law they're dissecting says overtime doesn't apply to employees involved in the "canning, processing, preserving, freezing, drying, marketing, storing, packing for shipment or distribution of: (1) Agriculture produce; (2) meat and fish products; and (3) perishable foods."
The drivers say because there's no comma before the words "or distribution" ... it means the law only applies to packers, not folks doing the actual distribution.
At first, a lower court sided with Oakhurst, saying the law was quite clear ... but the appeals court said otherwise and sent it back down for further proceedings.
That makes this case crazy, amazing, and downright weird as hell.

Ralphie May Ex Claims He Got Rough During Sex 'Feel the Pain, Bitch!'
Ralphie May's estranged wife says he's sexually abusive, suicidal, and so drug-addled he can't be alone with their kids ... according to court docs.
Lahna Turner claims Ralphie's gotten more aggressive and threatening recently in the fallout of their pending divorce ... due to frustration over monitored visits with their 2 kids.
In docs, obtained by TMZ, Turner says he's been physically abusive, and it spread to the bedroom when they tried to reconcile in 2015. Turner says they were having sex, but after asking him to stop, he persisted and said, "You need to feel pain, bitch!"
She also claims Ralphie insults her, threatens to kill himself, abuses drugs ... in front of their 2 kids -- and she's afraid he'll take them out of the country without permission.
Turner requested a restraining order, which was only partially granted. The judge denied her request for Ralphie to stay 100 yards away, but he is barred from harassing her.
Ralphie's reps had no comment, "due to legal constraints."

Muslim Ban Detainees Coerced to Leave at LAX ... Says ACLU
At least 5 Muslims were sent packing back to Yemen early Sunday morning from LAX, after Customs and Border Protection officials strong-armed them into signing a document to essentially wave the white flag and agree to go back to their homeland ... this according to the ACLU.
An ACLU attorney on the front lines tells TMZ ... the detainees were not allowed representation by attorneys who were eager to help them.
The attorney also says the number of detainees at LAX "far exceeds" the 7 people reported. We're told the number is closer to 40 people ... as of 1 AM Sunday morning.
The lawyer adds ... U.S. Marshals were called in to intercede after the ACLU filed emergency docs in court, claiming the U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection were violating the temporary freeze of Trump's Executive Order -- as issued by a federal judge -- by detaining people who had valid Green Cards.

Apparently, her vagina's been a hot topic among 'Housewives' stars.
You'll recall, Joanna sued Brandi 2 years ago for making the "smelly" comment on 'Watch What Happens Live.'
Joanna's gotta be determined to win this lawsuit if she's willing to air her vaginal records in open court.

The Game Cop Punch Trial Delayed Still Has Fights On the Mind
The Game showed up to court Monday morning expecting to stand trial for slugging an off-duty cop -- but he ended up breaking down Chris Brown and Soulja Boy's upcoming fight.

Young Thug got chauffeured around Hollywood like a big shot this summer, but stiffed the limo company like a bum ... according to a new lawsuit.

In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Hollywood Stars claims they drove Young Thug and some of his guests around for a total of 11 times this year -- with 10 of those happening in June.

The Game No New Trial For You! Back To The End of The Line ...
The Game won't be getting his sexual assault judgment of $7 million reduced, and he won't be getting a new trial either ... for now, at least.
A judge shot down Game's request to reduce the damages he was ordered to pay after losing his sexual assault case ... all over a technicality in how he filed the paperwork.
It looks like Game didn't "present" the motion the right way, and left out important info -- like hearing dates and times ... basic stuff the court needs to even consider the request.
The good news for Game is he can refile the motion -- so he still has a shot to state his case in court, like he originally wanted to do.

Bruno Mars You Jacked Our Jam ... Now We're Gonna Funk You Up!!!
Bruno Mars' monster hit "Uptown Funk" is a thinly-veiled replica of a groovy tune back in the day ... and now the OG band is out for blood in court.
Mars and "Uptown Funk" producer Mark Ronson are among many names listed in a lawsuit filed by members from the music group, Collage. The band released a single in 1983 called "Young Girls" and claim Bruno's Billboard #1 is a dead-on copy in rhythm, harmony, melody and structure.
It's interesting -- Collage claims Ronson and Mars have been big fans of Minneapolis/1980s electro-funk soul ... of which Collage was a part, along with Prince and others. The suit claims there's reason to believe Ronson and Mars have heard and been influenced by "Young Girls."
The stakes are enormous. "Uptown Funk" is Mars' biggest song to date ... selling more than 6.1 million copies. It's the second-longest number-one hit single in Billboard history, and makes the label alone a reported $100k a week via streaming on Spotify.
Collage -- only has one living member -- but he's alive and kicking ... demanding a cut of the profits and a stop to "Uptown Funk."

The Beatles Contract that Bound them Together Up for Auction

The contract give the legendary Epstein wide-ranging power ... authority to choose clothes, make-up and presentation of the group. It also gives the group power to boot a member if 2 or more want them out.
Right up there with the Magna Carta? No?
