Convicted child killer Susan Smith's tears at her parole hearing were all BS, totally fabricated to sway the board ... this, according to a former guard who was fired and prosecuted for having sex with her in prison years ago.

Alfred Rowe -- a disgraced prison guard formerly employed at Camille Graham Correctional Center in South Carolina, where Smith served until 2000 -- tells TMZ ... the parole board made the right choice by keeping her in prison.

Rowe says he doesn't think Smith has changed ... and getting emotional at the hearing was all for show -- with AR saying someone must've bottled some tears and brought them in for her to use, 'cause she's not capable of that level of emotion on her own.

Ashley Darby and her estranged husband, Michael, are finally moving forward with their divorce ... TMZ has learned.

Online court records show ... the "Real Housewives of Potomac" star filed to end her marriage -- more than 2 years after separating from the businessman.

6:10 PM PT -- In the new "BFF's" podcast episode, Brianna LaPaglia dove into some of the emotional abuse she endured while dating Zach Bryan.

Starting off with a huge admission ... Brianna was allegedly offered $12 million by Zach's team to sign an NDA ... which she clearly rejected.

Brianna talked about the infamous Raya profile screenshot that went viral on social media ... revealing that she got a bunch of DMs telling her Zach was on the dating app.

BL says he allegedly merely responded that he "reactivated" the app when confronted ... which is why she claims he posted about the breakup ... 'cause he got caught.

What's more ... Brianna says there was a lot of isolation and manipulation in their relationship, giving the example of Zach allegedly not liking her Golden Globes dress and not wanting to date someone who presented themselves like that ... so he unfollowed her -- but he later reposted the dress snap, claiming she was beautiful ... among many other examples throughout the podcast.

Brianna claims there was never a breakup convo, and their relationship ended with Zach telling her he 'couldn't do this,' only to head back to Oklahoma by himself.
