Shawn Mendes is getting a standing ovation from Colorado Governor Jared Polis ... after Shawn opened up to a concert crowd there and revealed he's still trying to figure out his sexuality.

The "Treat You Better" singer was performing at Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre Monday when he addressed yearslong speculation about his sexuality, saying it's a work in progress.

Gov. Polis, Colorado's first openly gay governor, tells TMZ ... "Red Rocks is a great place to share anything and everything. Colorado is a state where everyone, no matter who they are, can love who they love without fear and be who they are."

Kanye West just might want to build a new city within the Beverly Hills area ... but, his new neighbors say he needs to pump the brakes on that plan -- 'cause they're calling the idea totally delusional!

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a judge in New York just ruled a woman suing Diddy for an alleged sexual assault she claims happened 20 years ago must reveal her identity or have her suit dismissed.

The woman is suing as a Jane Doe ... and her lawsuit is one of the 120 suits Texas attorney Tony Buzbee says he's filing against Diddy.

Metro Boomin is facing a new lawsuit from a woman who claims she knew and trusted the Grammy-winning super producer -- before he allegedly raped her in 2016.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained docs filed today by a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre, who claims she was suffering from depression after the death of her 9-month-old son at the time, but hit it off with Metro during a getaway trip to Vegas in the spring of that year.

Vanessa claims Metro invited her to his studio to hang back in Los Angeles, where she says she observed Metro abusing codeine, even against the warnings of his friends.
