Here's the deal ... the '90s boy band's hit song "Bye Bye Bye" blasted into the Top 20 on Spotify's global chart this past week more than two decades after its original release -- all because Ryan Reynolds featured the tune in the opening credits of "Deadpool & Wolverine."

Since their names are being thrown around again as a result of the movie -- folks are yet again clamoring for the guys to get together for a tour (or even new music) ... but Chris tells TMZ there's a major hang-up that might prevent that from ever happening.

Britney Spears is sliding back into an old relationship ... hanging with Paul Soliz again -- and, her loved ones are worried about how quickly she's seemingly run back into his arms.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Spears' friends and family -- including her brother Bryan, we're told -- are confused and concerned she's already hanging with PS again just weeks after the two split up under rocky circumstances.

As we told you ... she's also seeking primary custody of the children -- something that's also confirmed in the divorce filing here. In terms of why they're splitting ... Cardi is citing irreconcilable differences, with no chance of patching things up.

Cardi B won't let her marriage woes -- or the bun in her oven -- get in the way of her music -- 'cause her album plans are still on track for this year ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Cardi's big news Thursday -- namely, the fact she's pregnant (again) and the fact she's headed for divorce (again) will in no way delay the release of her new album -- which we're told is still set to arrive later in 2024.

Thing is ... we're told Cardi is more than three-quarters of the way done with the project -- which is interesting, because that means there's still work to be done.

Scary moment for Sarah Hyland -- cops say her home recently got hit by intruders after she says she saw a couple men in masks leaving on her security cameras.

She says he bailed on July sessions to travel to France and wants to skip August therapy because his brother will be visiting ... but Halle wants the judge to force him to stick to the schedule laid out in their agreement, which includes therapy sessions and other requirements.
